Hello, I don't want to spam your thread, but I have a question on what aspect should I work on if I just started playing HU. I beat 6max micro 13bb/100+ and lately tried HU and was surprised to how soft it is.

Now when I'm going to start playing higher can you recommend what should I use to study off table? A lot of work in flopzilla and crev should do the work? How do I also learn to abuse the timing vs different opponents (slowplay or fastplay), which I think are a big advantage and EV+ when you abuse it right.. At least I think so. Also bluffrange and overbetting, betsizing tells and playing balanced is all that I have to work on when HU50+, but for now I need basic fundamental game that I feel comfortable with. If you have time I'd appreciate if you could look my starting strategy for now and comment on it (page 2180 at bottom and 2181) ->

Hey, I looked ur pre ranges and theyre way too tight all around. I think at ur point (Micros/50NL etc) the easiest and most comfortable way to study the game is just to buy rio elite or essential.

After you beat like 500NL+, theres not much to learn from there, (even tho still some) so you gotta study with otherways (Pio solvers, CREVs etc).

Well I'm not really gonna spend 100$ per month for now on elite, until I get 5k roll at least, so I'm gonna buy essential and see what it is about.

Played another long session yesterday, it went okay after bad start. Think I won 2 ev bi and ran decently over ai ev. Made few bad river calls at 6 max, but I definitely got more donations than I gave myself so its fine.

Also shotted 2k NL vs reg who asked for a game, realized playing 2k nl way too high for my mental game and quited, even tho after recent 60k upswing in last 30 days I mean im not super underrolled.

Hard to make assumptions on recruational players, regs bet quite narrow on turn and just betcall stuff like sets,straights,combodraws Ax with fd. So yeah vs reg we just fold turn quite happily, but this hand is not played vs reg.

wouldn't c/r line be better vs the whale since board is quite wet and many turn cards would kill action

Yeah bad check vs whale otf, just try to shovel money in asap. I quess I was on autopilot and played my base strat on these boards vs ip flat.

Grinded the bis and $ back I yesterday lost, played some 500nl and 1k today.

500NL pools are so damn polarized in general, some night pools when 50% of entries are fish u can prob beat it for like 10bb. But some day time pools when theres like 4 different top regs 4 tabling and 2 fish entries winrates are probably pretty small for everybody

Solid grind today unstucked yesterdays bad day, atleast in ai EV, not yet in $. Current month at 61k (Around my networth before the month) and since start of thread at 72k.

Have few questions for you if you don't mind answering :
What portion of your poker time do you spend on studying and you are using just PIO?
What's was your hourly on HUNL100? Or if you don't have much sample, what do you feel is achievable there?
Is 6-Max is very different from HU? Or there is some similarities post-flop? And in your opinion what is more beneficial to play money wise, 6max nl100 or hunl100 ?

Got 70k hands at 100NL, probably the limit ive crushed the most lifetime BB wise. Hourly so far after 70k hands w rb at 70$.



Theyre very different games imo, Im definitely worse at 6max than Im at HUNL. But the rake situation and the games arent really running enough are making me to switch to 6max too.

Probably if u were equally good on both games just 6max, you can grind alot more hands in 6max zoom than hu zoom a month. Because hu is limited at 2 entries.
