Do you have any previous work experience and if not, how did you play the poker thing in your applications?

Well done stepping out of the game. I think whoever plays a reluctant hour or two per day as a full time poker player should prob do the same and just get on with real life.

Yeah I worked for a year during my MA. I think its important to emphasise your skillset gained through poker and really own it. If you go in and dont believe that they will take you seriously then they probably wont haha. I also had a few papers published in journals during my MA and could put things together. I ended up getting a phone call for an interview with just about all the companies but luckily the one I took first was by far best/highest paying and interesting.
