Hey Man congrats on last few days. If it's not a secret - I see that you play non-zoom tables so I guess you were using seating scripts. Do you think they will really implement it so it's impossible to use them and how you think it will impact tables?
Thanks and no iv never owned/used a script in my life haha. I just take the best seat I can.

Had a chill day off today, much needed since iv been blasting volume everywhere very hard lately. Back at it tomorrow.
Havnt posted a longer update in a while. It was a bit of a rollercoaster start to the year, losing quite a bit at 400/600nl whilst table selecting vs whales. There wasnt much I could do apart from keep pushing on. Luckily, iv been destroying 200nl so far this year and plan to keep playing it for another month and shot bigger games towards the start of next month. Iv added apps to my table selection and doing really well on there. Just a bit of a learning curve at the start as its quite different. I have been studying daily for an hour, mainly reviewing hands and looking over some content I have.
Outside of poker I have had some significant lifestyle changes which I def feel aid me with poker and life. I am four months into a carnivore lifestyle of beef, pork and eggs only and I am in the best shape of my life, I have a 6pack without going to the gym (just home workouts). Also no crashes, energized throughout the whole day. I also wake up at 4am to get the morning routine/grind going. I feel super focused at this time. Alarm rings at 4, i do 50push ups, 50 pullups, 50 bodyweight squats whilst listening to an audiobook, then straight in for an ice cold shower (its usually -10 outside too) and I get on the grind by 4.45. I meditate and do a 30min full body stretch before bed in the evening. All of it somehow works for me in synergy.
Plan is to keep pushing up the stakes, I know if I work hard enough I will be at the stakes I want by years end. Maybe add in another app or two. The lifestyle factors are kind of integrated and i dont think about them too much just do it. I enjoy trying different things, went through wim hof and adapted bits from other peoples lifestyles through trial and error ie whats works for you and makes you feel/perform well.
Thank you for sharing the hands, I'm following your progress.
Thanks bro, gl to you too!
Busy day, 4am start, morning routine done, got in some good 200nl games and ran poorly but whatever. Enjoying the games quite a bit. Spent the rest of the afternoon working on some PPPoker stuff. Going to get some study in before bed and back at it tomorrow.
Decent day poker wise, up at 4am, workout, meditate, cold shower, grind, chilled a couple hours with my gf during the day and got some other work done. Stretching left do before bed and calling it a day.
Feeling good about my game and playing well. Its a decent amount of hours, just my hands per hour are quite low playing in various places. Definitely going to try and increase the hours the coming week.
Goals for next week 11-17/03
1. 4 hours of poker per day
2. 30-60min hand reviews/study per day
3. 1-3 hours a day of working on app stuff and a non poker venture
4. 4am routine: workout, meditate, cold shower before poker - sleep early
5. One podcast per day, Impact, RichR. etc and take notes as a form of study
3000 hands in two weeks must be frustrating, what kind of game selection are you using?
Thanks man gl to you too!
lately iv been grinding places where hands per hour is quite low, its a little annoying but win rates seem to be quite high so its just a trade off i guess
Thanks man! no i havnt played on PS for a good couple months, playing sites similar to your secondary one
Mid month update, nothing too interesting happening lately. Games have been a bit slow and more reggy.
Have woken up at 4am everyday of the month to workout, meditate, cold shower and feeling good. Some day I am a bit more tired and nap for 30-60min in the afternoon but generally feeling good. I have started cramping lots in my feet and it can quite painful during the night. Most likely due to low magnesium/potassium in my meat only diet so iv been supplementing those minerals but still happening meh. Going to up the intake even more might be depleted or something like that.
Barely got in hands this weekend. Felt very burnt out yesterday and took a rare day off today. I could feel the mental and physical fatigue yesterday to the point where my heart was pounding so hard and my body temp felt through the roof, all i wanted to do was lay there and do nothing haha. I hadnt really rested for quite a while, got some sun and chilled with my gf today.
I am going to end up using this pgc as more of a journal from now. With a mix of poker and irl things.
Not the worst weekend though. Lost some big pots aipf but no interesting hands.
Back at msnl, things are going our way this time and hoping to make it stick finally. Feeling good, playing well with lots of hu which is helping me get better and win some monies.
Nice results, but how did you manage to play only 12k hands in 75hours? Im all for quality over quantity, but playing 1-2 reg tables sounds like overdoing it
Long time no update, well, after a semi decent month last month I started to find it genuinely difficult to log hours and actually push myself to study. In fact, id say its been like that for about 6+ months now. Being honest with myself I simply do not enjoy the game as much anymore. I took this month basically away from the tables, thinking that my spark for the game will come back. It wasn't the case, in fact I found myself wanting to do other things and not wanting to put in hours even more. Iv been grinding for the good part of eight years id say, mixed in the with my BSc and my Masters. I feel like there is bigger and better things to go after at this point in my life.
I decided to apply for some interesting positions. On paper most seemed way out of my depth, but I decided to go for them anyway. I applied for some mid-senior level jobs in large crypto exchanges/ERC20 companies in various locations. I got a phone call the very next day for a senior-ish position in a mid-large sized company. I went through 4 interviews, one in person, the rest with various departments and finally with the COO. I got an offer the very next day and just said "**** it, lets do this" - didnt quite say that to them but yeah. Iv been with the company about two weeks now. I am able to come in/go/work remotely with flexibility as long as everything is upto date. Its been a hectic crash course into blockchain tech and everything around it, but iv also started passively trading since im basically exposed to the sphere all day (and im surrounded by some very intelligent people). If anyone wants to talk crypto/finance pm me.
So yeah, a brief update and probably an end to poker updates. I have a magnitude of poker related content, packs, software I no longer have use for. I dont mind giving away/passing on some things if anyone wants anything just drop me a pm to discuss.
Do you have any previous work experience and if not, how did you play the poker thing in your applications?
Well done stepping out of the game. I think whoever plays a reluctant hour or two per day as a full time poker player should prob do the same and just get on with real life.
