hmm, bit of advice, when an obv better player comes into a thread to give some knowledge of a hand which im guessing he will very rarely do (he may be wrong, he might be right...), the response is prob not best to lol at their strat but to prob find out why and then compare it to your own reasoning. You might find a sudden increase in your skill level to match your deluded ego

If we want to be balanced (which we probably don't) I don't think we should be jamming that river but I'm nowhere near as good as any of the players who've commented so far so take that with a pinch of salt.

i agree tho, give up river. you won't get him off an ace - people are generally incapable of folding top pair. you probably won't get him off a jack either, especially after the flush draw bricked. you beat all other flush draws. check back.

Why isn't it solid reasoning? I also forgot to include KK and QQ, but villain isn't folding those either. The average villain is generally incapable of folding KK/QQ when overcards come.

I think villain's plan from the moment the flop came was to check call down to let him bluff off his stack. Villain thought 'lol never folding any pair'.

Anyway, it's just one hand and is kind of whatever. Both plays are sub optimal for different reasons, but I dislike the KTh more.

Either way gl op, hadn't read the thread before but looks nice, gl at the tables.

Most important lesson I have learnt in poker is to not lol at other winning players strat, crediting Captain Digby and russian PTR for that one.
