Here ya go, couldnt find a better one Switch is perfect for casual like me. You can play it for 20 minutes if you want to take a break or you can connect it to your screen or tv and play it for hours and hours. So far I only have Zelda and the game is absolutely brilliant!

Sup,

past week was full of aha moments. My work was closed for the whole week due to a rebuild and on top of that my gf was out of town for the week as well so it was just me and poker.

After having coaching session and after seeing how much I can get done when I have no work to go to, I realized how far behind I am to good players and what an impossible task it is to catch up with them while having full time job. That being said, I thought I am doing a lot to get better but after my aha-moment I realized that I sleep too much, I dont use my time efficiently enough. I can get up on hour or hour and half earlier, speed up my morning routine and use that time to much, much needed work on sooooo many areas as was pointed to me last week. The more you study poker the more you realize there is so much more to learn. So positive outcome number one is more time efficiency, more effort.

Aha moment number two was that certain food and meals bring up different moods and feeling for me. I realized that when I was about to have my favourite ice-cream (Ben and JerryŽs) and as soon as I opened it, my brain went "oh, its day off. Yaay no work today". And I couldnt bring myself to do any work that day even thought I didnt plan on having day off. That made me realize that **** food and sugars are triggers for me to be lazy and unproductive so I threw everything of that sort away and will be more GTO with my diet from now on.

Third aha moment is kind of obvious. I joined gym again after couple of years of just going for a run and I realized how much I missed it, how important it is for my mental health and how weak my body got. Seriously embarrassing.

Even though I got **** on this week poker wise I learned a lot last week and got to try what it is like to play full time; 5 days of poker and 2 days off. I really enjoyed it although I do realize that doing it for a week and for a year is different. Here is how I did:

Also, can I get your thought on this hand:

https://www.boomplayer.com/25890681_AE83E82F6A

Its 11$ Sunday starter, we are about 70 ppl left, the field is soft. Villain is 23/11/0 over 60 hands. Dont have a lot of info on him. I was on the table for 2 orbits and in those he was quite active.

Omg that tilted me so hard...best worst river ever, while watching the boom and he 2xpot river was like " pffff fml he proly called and shown AA".

I shall w8 other guys opinion on this, but its so growse spot UBERdeep and i dont know if guys at 11$ timbys bluff this hard this often (with the intention to get u off a chop).

I would love to hear more about your routine through your off week and your studies!

Best of luck rest of the year amigo!!

23/11 doesnt mean he's active, but i usually dont look the stats with that samplesize, i go with logic.

i think folding turn is reasonable vs unknown guys, we can fold some of our weaker Kxes vs that sizing. i mean we will have 3x KJ KQ KT to continue altough if we look at blocking possiblities K8o might be better call than KT/KQ.

i think that population(weaker players) isnt barreling blanky turns on Khigh boards very often for bluff so even overfolding this turn might be fine vs 90% of the field.

folding river seems reasonable.. from logic perspective, why on earth would he shove Kx boat there. that leaves him with 1 combo of KK,6 combos of AA, maybe some A3, i would say 1 combo of that. bluffs, i mean going yolo with couple of QTcc or ATcc or AQcc seems possible, but looking at the math i think explo folding river is fine.

November sum up

Sup,

didnt feel like updating the thread since nothing interesting has happened. November felt like one, long, ****ty month card distribution-wise and result-wise (as seen on graph below) but I cant help but feel good about the month.

I studied 31 hours on top of my playing hours and feel like its slowly showing in my game. Especially handling tilt. DonŽt get me wrong, I still got super frustrated after being knocked out of Mini Mega deep at 5th, AGAIN, but I got lot better in realizing what is going on at the moment and calming myself down. So got better my short-stacking game and postflop game. I had two small wins and one close call like I mentioned above. This was the second time within past 4 weeks where I FTŽed the Mini Mega deep and came close to bigger score :/ feels bad man.

One bad thing that happened and bothers me is that last couple of days I have felt very unmotivated, lazy and tired. Every time I have long night either at work or playing poker I tend to binge eat comfort food and ****ty sugars which sends me into a spiral of unproductive behavior. I cant quite help myself not have that. Its like a drug that I keep relapsing to. I am good for 95% of the month and then I just blast off. Anyway, here are my wins this month, dont have one for the Mini Mega Deep, as I was butt hurt from being out on what was playable short handed table.

Apart from that, I started tracking how I use my time and discovered that I waste a lot of time on meaningless tasks that have to be done but can be done more efficiently, thus leaving me more time for poker.

Gym grind is going super well:

December is the busies time of the year at work so I dont expect to get a lot of things done, unfortunately. I want to keep getting up early, study before work, play on on days off / half days off and keep working out every other day

See ya all at tables

For once I am going to write up weekly summary. I tried to play on Monday but had to unregister all tourneys after I blew up and destroyed my keyboard. I just lost 140bb pot deep-ish in 22$ tourney on 888. The thing that struck me the most when I calmed down was how I overreacted in a spot where I would be like, meh. I definitely had worse spots in last 4 weeks. That lead me to believe that I need a break from everything.

In my time off I thought about poker in my life, I read a lot of forum posts and talked to some people. I was interested in what it is really like to be a poker pro, how do people view their poker careers and life with such proffesion. Although I do think that varies very much from person to person depending on loooots of factors, everyone seems to agree on 2 points. It is not worth it and poker is amazing hobby and side job/income. I pretty much decided that being a poker is no longer the goal. If I was fresh out of college and had no gf and no plans of having family and buying home,if the situation in my country legislation-wise wouldnt be as bad as it is, I would go for it or moved to more poker friendly country but being in opposite situation, I decided to move away from trying to be a pro when I move back to Czech. Instead, poker will be what it always was for me. A hobby.

The competitive side of me will still study as many hours as I can and play as much as I can because I genuinely enjoy poker and studying its concepts.I guess the path I walk has not changed for me, just the destination. I am off for today pretty much and will resume my daily schedule tomorrow with early get up and morning session before work.

See ya all at tables

Sup,

just a quick update on this dead thread. Updating this feels more like a chore than anything else. Therefore I will stop writing it.

I am still playing and still trying to get better and better but I dont want to be doing something I dont enjoy. Maybe I will start another one down the road. Preferably with better name
