So lets cut to the chase im a 25year old been playing poker hmm a year and a few months wanna say 2, ive gone and plopped a meagre £40 (as all i can afford to risk at the mo im not a rich man lol) on PartyPoker this evening/midnight and im gonna try grind this up into a workable useable roll for the slightly higher stakes games (50nl etc) on PartyPoker.
This is gonnabe a purely Texas Holdem type challenge though,i did however play 1 omaha table this evening for the hell of it as obvs games are dead in the middle of the night on a weekday (people got work and that the next day) i really do want to try get volume in so gonna try play 4hrs daily during the peak sort of times 7-11pm and that is it, i decided to make the thread as im new to PartyPoker really had the account awhile but not really played on here, and im also new to using a hud (played more in past on hudless sites StanJames predominantly because its hudless meant the action was good lotta more loose calls bigger pots in general, its merged with Unibet recently and i will play there again too but thought for now seeing as i have a hud that i gone spent money on back in december its time to actually make use of it, Unibet also ive heard funny things about actually cashing out/issues like that so bit wary, PartyPoker though i like got good rewards program etc, the softwares a bit jarring ive noticed after this first sesh multitabling doesnt feel a joy on this site ha its irritating and the buzzing/sound effects piss me off and im not good at multitabling as is my comfort level for tables really is 2-3 lol but other than that i like it so far)
first sesh-
played about an hr sesh honestly i played well really i got sucked out bad 1 hand by a complete station (mean id stuck so much of my stack in turn and same with him and the pot odds river i had to call it off anyway) unlucky another though my edge technically on flop was marginal and made 1-2 1/5 stack mistakes aswell so iffy sort sesh graph below, gotta plug my mistakes as thats 2/5of a stack in mistakes gone this sesh which isnt good in a game made up of small edges as is oh also made lots of smaller mistakes like i proabably folded too often on flops were i missed and didnt fight in them small pots enough.

(no ev or info box yet gonna wait till my sample size is bigger then take a peek at my winrate and ev and stuff like that, dont want to incude it in day to day play as honestly it will make me too results orientated rather than just playing best poker i can play at the time also the ev stat itself is sketchy and misleading/flawed but after a month or 2 i will still be curious with whats what there, same idea with the having graph in bb won just makes me think less about the money).
My Bankroll Management i havent decided on yet, i may go conservative route i may go a more aggressive route think it depends highly upon how well im running at the time and how much im beating the games each session/week etc by average, basically if i feel im crushing got a real edge on majority of the pool i may go the aggro BRM route if however im really not sure ill just keep **** conservative/standard rules. But yh no more omaha that games swingy as hell so i got to tell myself to just avoid altogether as much as i actually love playing that game. but yh think im gonna use a dynamic changing brm plan depending on err day to day sessions and how there going.
