I've been running like ***** in the past couple of months, and that is affecting my confidence and it is making me play terrible at times.
I love poker, I love the challenge of battling other poker minds and try to be victorious. And, ofc, money helps
Adversity is definitely a gateway to success! I think that times like this make us stronger. Make us work more and more, and work is the key word in crushing any limit in poker (a strong will and never giving up, also).
I play micros NLHE cash (mainly NL10 and NL25 - I already played higher before, but I stopped playing for a long time and i'm now rebuilding my roll) and I decided to create this challenge to motivate me and make me accountable for my own goals:
-300k at around 8.5 ev bb/100, trying to move up in stakes as soon as possible.
-Try to reach NL100 in this period.
-Try not to tilt, and to be really disciplined with my roll, my time, and my goals
-Not play a single ***!ng donkament
I work full time, so this thread will help me keep motivated to put some volume, work and time in my game.
I would also want to show that even in 2017, if you really want to make it work in Poker, it is possible.
I'll start in NL25 (both zoom and normal) with 32 buy ins (800 euros), playing in stars.pt. I'll always take shots to the next level at 35/40 buy ins of that level, and always move down when I reach 20 buy ins
.
I'll try to update the thread in each 5k or 10k hands played, with some interesting or stupid hands.
Let the games begin!
