Subbed!
Good luck down there! I have goals to try to be there by the end of this year/first of 2014. I'll be driving from NC, so a similar trip as yours. I can't wait! This thread is so much more motivation for me to grind my ass off this year!

Thanks guys! The spot was only 775 + utilities. I got amazingly lucky with a realty company down here, Baja Open House. Look them up and ask for Mario. He's a boss. Kerwinty why that far south? You have family there?

Re: iCuMirin' - stacking chips in Mexicooooo
Graph from yesterdays grind. Pretty annoying swingy day mostly at 200 with some 400 at the end. Move up and chase hehehe. There was a big fish at 400 so couldn't pass it up obv .
This is from a reg. Like really? How do you win at this game. I seriously am 4betting nowhere near often enough for this to be good by him...
Winning Poker Network - $2 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4
Hero (CO): $200.00
BTN: $331.03
SB: $90.41
BB: $200.00
UTG: $292.56
MP: $212.85
SB posts SB $1.00, BB posts BB $2.00
Pre Flop: (pot: $3.00) Hero has A K
fold, fold, Hero raises to $6.00, BTN raises to $18.00, fold, fold, Hero raises to $42.00, BTN raises to $331.03 and is all-in, Hero calls $158.00 and is all-in
Flop: ($403.00, 2 players) 5 T 5
Turn: ($403.00, 2 players) 6
River: ($403.00, 2 players) 7
Hero shows A K (One Pair, Fives) (Pre 61%, Flop 73%, Turn 68%)
BTN shows 7 8 (Two Pair, Sevens and Fives) (Pre 39%, Flop 27%, Turn 32%)
BTN wins $399.75
Fun line I took against a nit reg. He actually tanked in this spot. It's definitely FPSy and against a better reg is not every good I don't think, because I rep so thinly. When he checks turn though, I assume he doesn't have very many strong nutty hands in his range. Guess I need to reevaluate against him.

Hero shows 3 A (One Pair, Nines) (Pre 34%, Flop 3%, Turn 0%)

An important hand against that 400 fish to really get me going in the last session of the day.

Man you are living the life! This is an amazing thread, also the Vegas story was the funniest story I've read in a while. Probably should have trained her though...
Good luck bro.

Re: iCuMirin' - stacking chips in Mexicooooo
Hey, just wanted to pop here and say good luck and enjoy Baja. I'm still learning how to play but I did a similar move a few months ago. I work online to make enough for expenses and some saving and the rest into learning/grinding. Anyway, didn't know what to expect in Mexico but after months of being here it's incredibly safe, relaxed and just overall excellent. The only time you hear about anything bad going on is on the borders and even that is rare. I think you're definitely going to like it
Just quick note about Spanish, I also got RS to learn it but honestly the best way to learn it is to just get a regular girl. That being said, everyone around me speaks English so I've been slacking on learning Spanish.
Anyway, good luck d00d! This post gave me a little more motivation to get back to my reading about this math business, so thanks for that

thanks boss! yea im finding that a lot of what is said about mexico in the states is just flat out untrue. i would love to find a regular girl, but its prolly gonna be somewhat difficult. i might just follow jdawgs lead and nab a stripper hehe. get on that math bro, so you can take all da monies!

Re: iCuMirin' - stacking chips in Mexicooooo
Cool meeting you the other night. Gl getting settled in and back on the Stars grind. I think pretty much everyone down here got on Moneybookers but we dont have a local rep anymore so Netteller might be easier.
Finding a regular girl in rosa is gonna be next to impossible this time of year. Theres some decent clubs up in TJ where youll meet single TJ and socal girls but for the most part girls get wifed up here at 16 or move away. Spring/summer it gets a bit better though, esp on big weekends.
Place looks sick, crazy what you can get for your money down here.
Im in hermit mode for a while but might be down to go watch the Duke/Unc game next week. Pretty much guar free meal if we CCR
