Thanks bud. I'm still using it. The autoreg busted with the latest Stars update so I had to find an AHK autoreg, and hayguys lives in the US so hasn't done anything with it since Black Friday unfortunately.

A poker day doesn't go by without review of some sort. Usually I start my morning with 10-15 hands marked from the previous day, and probably every 3 playing days I go on a binge of 50+ hands studied just to stay sharp. I hate the feeling of being unsure of something in game and that feeling compounds quickly if it isn't taken care of.

+1 to to this. My game usually nose dives when I ignore these things. Uncertainty creeps in making me tilt like a mofo.

How good are you at hypers? Are you one of the better regs?

When I think of the best fifteen grinders in the past I think of sippin criss. Were you the best reg? Or did low stakes players suck? How plus ev do you reckon you were in a $100 9-man with six regs?

Have you ever played this high? I've always known you as the guy who crushes the lower stakes so hard he doesn't need to move up .

Generally I don't care that much. If anything I'd be curious about where my $60s was at, I'm not established there and haven't developed full confidence so it would be nice to see. If my redline was a loser over 20k games I might have to re-evaluate. Redline for the $60s is broken though, here's my $30s so far:



Word. Yesterday I had a number of spots I was unsure of, but the simple act of saving the hand and knowing I would study it later gave me peace of mind. The worst is when I get lazy and don't even save a hand I'm unsure of. That's when I know my brain is broken.

Relative to my stakes I think I'm one of the better regs. I'd be super sad if I knew regs were joining my games because they know how to take advantage of me multiple different ways. I'm sure there are aspects of my game that better regs are exploiting, but one of my hobbies is to make sure regs earn as little as possible off of me. I'm still on an adjustment period, the regs at the $60s don't allow me to get away with much.

At the $15s there were guys who made more/hr or had a better general poker sense but I was definitely one of the best, but it's kind of a best of the worst situation so it isn't something I hang my hat on, but the diamond star is neat. There were just always so many fish and most of the regs weren't extremely strong players otherwise they probably would have moved up. Looking back I must have scared a few players who should have moved up into sticking to the $15s.

I'd probably be ****ting my pants in a $100 with 6 regs a few years ago lol. Now though I'd feel pretty good in a 2-3 fish game, probably only half of the regs at best would have had an air tight game, the others probably have some slight leaks that would give me confidence.

Thanks bud. I'm still embarrassed about some of the hands I played vs you a few months ago, I was experimenting with a few things in my game lol. I am feeling quite confident, I've played around 50k of these so I know the game. I'm a bit discouraged with my start, but it's a lot more likely that the games get easier than more difficult. I was guilty of painting a lot of regs with the same brush early on, but yesterday I had tons of focus and it opened my eyes to a lot of exciting things.

Going to go for 8 hours today, I have to be way more efficient with my breaks so I have time to live a bit of a life. With about 2 days off for the rest of the month I can alternate 7-8 hours each day I will get 200 hours in. I picked such a bad time in my life to eat at a deficit, hating life quite a lot right now.

Not sure on realtors, I always just rented places through the owners or or the company that ran the building. Downtown Victoria is great. I used to live in a neighborhood called James Bay just a quick walk from downtown, was right near the ocean, close to the Inner Harbour, it was pretty much perfect. They probably won't want to drift too far away from downtown even though it's cheaper in the outlying areas. I live in an area called Langford, they'll probably want to stay aware from here since it's about 20 minutes from downtown, I'm just here because it's across the street from the golf course I play.

zzzzzzzzz. Sick upswing to end the day. World's smallest violin. Down something like 140 bi on the year. Got in about 650 vpp/hour, not bad. Need to mix in more $30s I think, kind of quit playing them partway through yesterday but there are too many stretches where I only have 6 $60s going.

Played 55 hours the last 8 days, might just take it easy tomorrow and play something like 4 hours and let myself relax. Going to book the location for the ceremony for the wedding tomorrow, if any girls followed this thread I'd post pics, alas...

Just got back from the gym (twice in 3 days omg) to quote jdawg I am withered. The gym always makes me feel so much better. When I played a zillion hours last December it did a good job of mentally erasing my bad days. Got the fix for the HEM line. Maybe I'll post these redline totals every 50 hours or so? I was pretty relieved to find out my EV line has me as a profitable player .

Nothing like moving up and immediately getting shat on.

I know youre a hjalper guy but TN has a pretty cool feature with its autoreg software where it wont put you in game with X or more players of a certain color code. You can still get in reggy games if other regs join after you but i think its pretty helpful. Just something to consider.

Cool man thanks for the heads up! The few times in my poker life I have moved up I always started off getting owned anyways so this feels like S.O.P.

Somehow woke up at 5:00 am for once today. Waking up past my intended hour is probably one of my biggest life issues. I wake up late then feel rushed and pressured all day, get distracted with w/e on top of my 7-8 hours of play and hardly have time for my gf and 7 yr old roommate. If I can stick to this and grind somewhat efficiently it will make this month much more enjoyable. I'll probably toss in some pre 6:00 am bed removal freerolls if I don't get myself fully sorted soon.

If there is any moment in my day that I don't care about money it's when I'm supposed to wake up but want to stay in bed . So maybe offering those freerolls isn't the perfect idea, but by all means try . Sick graph 150 BI below EV when you moved up like x3 in stakes, sucks . I'm sure it'll turn around though just check waynekings graph .
