It is cliche to say this, but it seems that I have only given 80% or less effort towards everything I have pursued for my entire life. I know now, from years of experience, that completing the goal which I'm about to declare cannot be done without "taking real long-lasting control of my life", which I have only experienced for short-lasting periods. I have pretty unabashed beliefs that I should already be playing much higher, but now I know, after several years, that I must follow the ways of Tommy Angelo and be a professional about it if I'm ever gonna get there.

To begin I'll have $160.2, 2,495 FPP, and about 50 euro t$ in my pokerstars account and will be playing strictly turbo SNGs and the occasional small stakes MTT.

My goal is to play at least 200 SNGs/day for an entire month without missing a day, and never playing under-rolled. This should be easy, but I've never done anything close to that volume.

If I do complete this month's goal, or have any significant swings in my bankroll, I will bump this thread and put up an updated goal more closely aligned with what my new bankroll permits.

Not a very fun thread, but it's for helping myself and maybe bragging a little. As I don't have very good control of my life ATM, I'm be starting now at 4:00 AM.

I'm debating myself whether to start a cash or SNG/MTT challenge myself witha limited bankroll, may I ask what made you choose the SNG/MTT route over cash?

Thanks, I've played like 100k hands cash lifetime, maybe half of that PLO, and although I hope to switch to cash one day I haven't played any in over a year at least. I can comfortably 30-40 table low stakes SNGs and like working with 10-30 bb because I don't have to think critically as often as cash. Also, the only reason I'm playing low is I really hate having redeposited so many times.

First session of 5's didn't go well I'm stepping down to 1's and 2's.

How many hours per day do you have to play to hit 200 games?

Yeah i hear you buddy, I am way 2 lazy and never put in the effort required either.
What stakes/games are you going to be focusing on?
I recommend choosing your best format and sticking to it till you master them.

Start with a 100 games/day and work ur way up slowly. 200 is a grind but if your gonna make sure you get table ninja and hjalper (hook up the xbox controller )

4-5 if I was efficient about it, but probably like 6-7 on average because of MTTs.

Hey just wondering how many buyin's do you play behind, 40 like Boku, or more?

I try to play with > 50 buyins, but have broken that rule a few times.

*Bump* I did well at 1.75/18s, and got lucky at MTTs and now have ~5k. I've only been able to do a little over 100/day so far because of partying too much, and so I've made some new goals. I'll be taking a week off the 1st through 7th to travel to LA :-)




I won an MTT ~ game 550 playing under-rolled. I'm gonna bump on 7/23 to post a new month's goals, for now

i forgot i was aiming for 6k sngs, looks like in july i played just under 2k abi $42, but i quit drinking and doing drugs yesterday (again), so now i have some clarity of thought and will wake up before noon to hit up the prime hours
