Hello 2+2!
Since I ve heard that you are the best poker forum, I ve decided to come up with my challenge here.
Before everything, let me introduce myself. I am 26, I come from Krusevac, Serbia. I am the 4th year of my university (Serbian language and literature), and I am on this year for 3 years now
So far, in my poker career i ve made a couple of things I am proud of:
1. In 2014 (1st year of my serious approach) i reached Supernova status on Pokerstars through 6max Turbo SNGs. I was playing mostly 7$ and 15$ stakes and made 25k$ profit after rakeback.
2. I used to play limits up to 210$ on chico network.
3. And I also have been studying cash games, and managed to have positive results prerakeback on nl50 and nl100 limits on 888 and Party poker.
4. I have couple of 1st places on MTTs, and quite solid ROI on this format.
5. I started to stake and coach people with one of my best friends
THe problem and the main reason is that after all this time I ve faced a lack of motivation for poker, and for many other things including my education and health care. So my challenge will have 4 goals, and I will be happy only if all of the goals are achieved:
1st GOAL: 10K OF PROFIT after rakeback until the end of the year. Since i ve been out of grind mode for some time, and i havent been studyng almost nothing at all, i will start this challenge grinding 6max turbos with average buyin of 10$. I hope that very soon i will move up. My plan is to play at least 2500 games per month, and work on my game for at least 15 hour per month. I will also play some Mtts in my sessions.
2nd GOAL: MAKING 5 WINNERS in my group. As i ve already mentioned, i took some people to stake and coach with my friend. We took a office where the most of us will be working together. This goal will be considered done only if we have 5 prerakeback winners on minimum 5$ limit.
3rd GOAL: LOSING 8kg UNTIL THE END OF THE YEAR. I am 183cm tall, and right now I have 88kg which bothers me pretty much. Someone will say that this is a result of a poker player's lifestyle, but before all this is a result of my enourmous lazyness. My plan for this is to change my nutrition and start exercising more. Till the end of the month i will be exerising on my own to get in some form, and after that I ve already arranged working with one of the best personal coachs from my town. Untill that, i will be going to the swimming pool, playing basketball with my friends more often and i will try to get up 1 hour earlier than usual and go for a run.
4th GOAL: PASS 3 EXAMS untill the end of the year. This will probably be the most difficult part of the challenge
But i think it's time to finish my school, cause literature is something i ve always liked, and i would feel raeally great if i manage to finish it. First exam period is in October, but i will start prepairing my exams these days.
That is all for this 1st post. I really hope that this challenge will have a great effort on me and that i will have 4 reasons more than everybody else to celebrate on the New Year's Eve.
I will try to update my progress daily, but i can promisse that here will be at least 4 updates per week, and in every update i wll go through all 4 goals.
