Well good luck mate, I would kind of suggest getting your first few sessions in at 25/50nl maybe? Too warm up and get your online fundamentals back? But good luck and respect to TGiggity. Work hard and crush dude

He played a bit of 50nl last week before getting started with the stake. Running hot and playing solid overall so far.
Man what day/ first day. Woke up ready for the action went to where I clean up and freshen up then went straight to the library.
Opened up two reg speed tables of 100nl and just sat and played. I can tell this is going to be fun, but it’s also going to be a test of my mental toughness. These are stakes I’m use to playing live not online, but I couldn’t really tell a difference between 50nl and 100nl maybe with more hands I’ll run into some differences.
Overall first day was a success and I’m just happy to be in this spot in the first place. My whole life I wanted to become a poker player and when I first started this thread I may have been a little over my head, but I still have that same drive and hunger as I did when I first left my mom’s house to embark on this homeless poker journey. I feel as of now I’m reaching a period of my life where I have been through a lot of hard times ( rebuilding rolls etc) to understand now how important it is to be mentally tough. That’s what I’m striving for. Mental Toughness to get me thru any challenge that comes my way.
Little bit of a rant but that’s what happens when you wake up and the sun is beaming your face so you write a post aha. Ok well going to freshen up and get ready for Day 2 of this stake. LETS GO
Good to see you're on the right track towards what you wanna achieve and its awesome tgig is helpin you out, make sure you learn as much as you can from him, glgl!
This is the life grind my friend, it won't end until i achieve my dreams.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Staking Challenge Day 2
Result -$9.19
Hands Played 1,041
Chill day today.
Woke up around 930 am and played for about 5hrs two tabling. After i went to go get some food and mediate with charmaine. We have been getting into daily meditations together it has been beautiful.
Only had about 600 hands around 10 pm due to the fact my friend was in town and it was his birthday so of course i wanted to treat him to dinner, but immediately after dinner i went back to work to make sure i get in 1k hands and broke even pretty much the remainder of the night.
Lost a flip toward the end of the session which is kind of a bummer. i don't really feel like putting in anymore hands at the moment. going to get some rest and play again tomorrow.
I'm really enjoying myself a lot. playing online has so far been a very fun and enjoyable. 1k hands seems to be what i can grind out on a consistent basis, but over the following weeks i hope to slowly increase that number.
I think the QJss bluff is terrible just wanted to post it cause it was so bad lol.
76hh bluff I like it.
QJs just bet more like 60% pot. You get a better price on the bluff, you rep a more credible line (lots of 10x), and you probably get more folds tbh. I don't hate the bet, but you're gunna have other floats like 6high gutshots so yeah you're probably overbluffing, but that's probably fine given his range is gunna be so capped and unprotected in this spot.
76hh I don't love the check call. Turn just check/jam your gutshots with the spades, don't do it with every gutshot you check called. You should cbet this hand - you have the bdfd and you won't have a ton of bluffs on this flop so this should definitely be one of them. Cbetting will be way higher ev than check calling. But I do like that you're playing aggressive
That QQ flat pre is terrible. 3bet that 100% of the time. And your 3bets oop should be 4x +1 per caller, unless there's a whale like hand 1 then just go whatever size you think gets called lol.
liking the volume (especially on what Rub is playing on - you guys should see how small the screen is) and results so far man. keep it up
Total pot: $100.50 (Rake: $4)
Hero (BB) wins $96.50
RUBRUB, do you mind explaining your thought process on these plays? Additionally why do you consider the 76hh hand to be a good bluff on a board texture that smashes a 3b call range? The turn increases the likely hood of combo draw possibilities, and villain has put in 50%+ of his stack. I understand it worked on this hand but what percentage of the time can you expect to be successful here? Not intending to come across rudely I just think it may be a point of growth to discuss.
QJs hand: What are we intending to rep here? The only thing we can credibly rep is 77-99, but I don't think this is a spot we need to be balanced in at NL100. Edit: Upon reviewing I don't see why we couldn't have a ten either. I think this is a significantly better bluff than the 76s hand personally.

I usually flat QQ-33 In sB vs UTG maybe and 3bet KK-AA, AKo, 44-33, T9s,87s,76s but maybe I should just raise. 4x +1 callers oop ok I have been doing 4x thank you.
I rather bet 70% on the river now for the QJss hands over bet does seem far fetch.
Yeah and everyone I play on a 11inch MacBook Air haha.

Yeah looking back at it I don’t love my line ,but to explain my thought process I was exploiting the turn size. I also would delay check raise this flop with my strong hands since this Villain and the tendency to bet when checked too.
Also I felt 76hh was the worst hand I’ll have in my range here and since it has little show down value and retains its equity well I felt like it was a good bluff.
Reading everyone insight is opening my mind to great things I love 2+2 and can’t wait to share more hands so I can learn more.

stop flatting sb! lol. you're gunna get destroyed outta the sb if you keep flatting stuff. There's definitely situations for it (UTG min raises and a couple callers come along) but as a default you should be playing 3bet or fold. Especially with how high the rake is, you just won't profit flatting hands like 33 in the sb. just fold them. vs UTG open you can be really tight in SB

Just 3bet or fold from SB unless BB is a whale...will make your life easier
