Yes super close! Well when I hit 2k I’ll take Lordkjun’s advice and take maybe a day off to just reset and mentally prepare for this journey. After that my goal will be to play at least 40hrs a week shooting for 50hrs but we will see how my schedule ends up looking. First week or so will be me trying to figure out how to set up my day so I can play 8hrs of poker while still doing Doordash on the side to cover the expenses for the month.

Woke up and started working made a quick $80 then went to Charmaine’s Uncles house at 830pm for some food for Father’s Day. Charmaine is full Filipino so you know we had food haha Free food for the homeless guy I’ll take it! Her family doesn’t know I live in my car not that it matters lol just felt like including that haha. Ok gonna go take some Hennessy shots with her family goodnight everyone.

WE DID IT

Woke up super ready to work. Was weird cause doordash gave me a promo where if I complete 10 deliveries they will add $50 lol kinda perfect. So yeah made $115 doing the 10 and got the $50 so now we add $100 and that’s that boom hard work paid off.

Now what... man I want to go back tonight so bad it’s been 24 days and tbh that’s the longest I have been away from poker.

Yeah I might go tonight haha. I’m ready I’m so ready and I know that I can do it. Might head there around 9-10pm LETS GO!!!!

Day 1 of the journey went well. In for $260 our for $775. Man it feels really good to be back. Played 8hrs and I honestly could have played another 8 but I want to sleep and play 8hrs each day 56hrs a week so I don’t want to burnout.

Woke up at 12pm feeling really good. Picked up Charmaine at 1pm to go get some food and some coffee. She had her best friends little get together at 3pm so we went to that and now I left and she’s still there because it’s POKER TIME BABY

So gonna play 8hrs again starting pretty soon. One thing I have to do before each session is meditate for 10mins and use my back massager haha. It really just puts me in the best mindset. I take a break each hour for about 5mins to walk around and get some air, I think that’s very important.

My goals moving forward are...
1. Play 8hrs a day 7days a week for 2months
2. Do Doordash for 2hrs a day to cover expenses for the month.
3. Try and get 7hrs of sleep
4. Only can lose -$400 in one session max.

Man tonight felt like a grind. 3hrs In I lose my stack with AA on a Ts3c4c she had QTcc and turn Jc meh

Reloaded and just was up and down from 280 all the way to $60 at my low point of the night with about 3hrs left to play. Then all in AK>JTo to double to 120 and after that just picked up small pots in position and just sat back drank some tea and was just playing my cards.

Last year you can see my avg play time was 3hrs and that’s because I would always leave when I felt tired or felt like going home, but I understand this needs to be treated as a job and when you have a job and you’re working you can’t just tell your boss you’re going home cause you want too. No sit down and put in 8hrs a day no excuses (unless I lose -400 before 8hrs of course).

But yeah happy I fought thru today and being stuck -340 with 3hrs to go and sticking thru and only being down -208 feels good to me cause I feel accomplished.

Going to sleep now. Tomorrow will put in another 8hrs and always remember day by day

Woke up at 11am got some breakfast with Charmaine and relaxed in the car (smoking weed and listening to music) Then I did Doordash from 5pm-7pm and made $26.

Now I just dropped Charmaine off and now it’s time to head to the casino for 8hrs of play will update tonight.

I think you’ve gained some real life experience and showed determination with the building your BR. Keep supplementing using door dash and learning from past mistakes. Keep up the hard work, I’m rooting for you! Hope it takes off and you get to 1/3 and 2/5 soon!
