Hi,

I neglected my previous blog as I found it quite boring. I've managed to move up to nl100 and stay there, however my volume is a total disgrace.
Thus, I decided to go back to blogging, set myself some volume goals and pursue them.


Obviously, that is not going to happen without a huge effort and persistence. Yet, if nanonoko or leatherass were able to do that, I also can. And I believe I will.

I am now going to prepare a plan for the next month and will post it here this evening.

Overall I'm satisfied. I warmed up before each of the sessions, which is very fine. I am happy with today and can't wait tomorrow.

Notes

This day was quite horrible. Firstly I had some huge problems with my laptop and lost like $35 due to that. I was tilted a lot by technical problems and then the cooler party started. Summing up, I chickened out and gave up on playing, I'm very disappointed with that. Can't wait for the books to show up. Solution to try: listen to Elliot's 7min tilt breaker when I feel I cannot take it anymore.

I've ****ed up totally and this week has been a disaster. I'm not giving up, though. I've got "The mental game of poker" and have started reading it. I've prepared new plans for the next week and hopefully, it's going to be way better.
What is more, I'm going to wire some bucks to a friend of mine every morning and he's going to send it back only providing that I've done what's planned for a given day.

Week 2 - plan

Put in the effort and practice and you'll get there! Just remember poker is a long run game so if you're running bad in the short run don't let it tilt you. Keep making the best plays. Good luck.

I don't know whether it is because of the almost free weekend or because of the dollars sent to my friend, but I've done very well. I'm very much satisfied. Yesterday I had some problems with falling asleep and as a result I've slept way less than 6h, and I've still been able to put in 5k hands and an hour of coaching. It's all really great, I'm planning to do off-table work as well for an hour or two.

Notes:
I'm happy with today's volume. I've been very tired and lacked motivation but have managed to fight through it. And the only reason is the fact that my friend would have kept my money if I had failed. So far it is the best solution. Hence, no reason to change it yet.

Sadly, my laptop doesn't allow me to play on it anymore, I've lost like $200 during the past few days due to sudden crushes. I'm in the process of completing a new PC and it's going to take about a week. However, I'm going to work hard anyway. I will just work on my game and maybe do some 1tabling as well. So as you've just brought it up, I'm going to work on my game a lot during this week or so and will post summaries everyday too.

I feel your pain been going through the exact same **** recently with my laptop. Except it's probably cos me like $10, not $200 . Love the plaque too, what a thoughtful gift!

Meeh it's been a disaster. I have to wait for my computer to arrive on Monday/Tuesday. And I feel very disappointed with my recent laziness. I almost feel as if there were two me inside me - one very ambitious dreamer and one truly lazy bastard. I decided to force myself into working hard and as these punishments work very well, I'm after a word with my friend. I've sent him $100 and I've got to play 10h tomorrow . Till Monday I've got to play 5x10 =50h (2tabling as my laptop doesn't let me play 4tables). Failing on any of these days will make me lose $100 and I'll send another 100. Until I'm busto or hardworking.

Nothing seemed to work today, my run was terrible. And probably decisions weren't too great either as my bluffcatching or bluffing skills seemed to have disappeared Nonetheless, I'll keep fighting. I'm proud of keeping control over my emotions today.
