750watt isn't necessary for power, something 450-550 will more than do the job. I forgot to mention get a DVD drive/bluetooth card/wireless card if you use any of that (they're all <$20).

Also idk what operate system you were planning on putting on it but if you wanted windows 8 you can get it for $40. Google upgrade windows 8 on your current computer and go through the steps like paying for it, downloading installation files, then after that you'll get a popup on how do you want to install, choose the save to USB option instead of installing it on the current computer then you'll be able to plug the USB into the new computer and install windows 8 from that (needs a 4GB+ USB, you can use a DVD too).

edit: SSDs are 2.5" across and the harddrive bays in cases are 3.5" across, my SSD just sits on the floor of the case but if you were planning on moving the case around a bit you can get a 2.5 -> 3.5" frame so the SSD can sit in the 3.5" bays.

yes, you definitely want to build a custom PC. Start a thread in the computer forum here on 2p2, the guys there are very helpful. If you choose the AMD processor you need a motherboard with a compatible socket, 8gb of ram should be enough, but having an SSD seems to be compulsory in terms of speed (your HEM will be faster). If you use only one monitor, then you don't need a high-end video card etc., but if you are planning to use multiple screens then buy a card with multiple monitors support (all new graphic cards have at least two/three ports - DVI, HDMI or display ports). If you don't need a super-freakin-fast computer, but you need it to play poker and video games from time to time, I think you can really spend about 500-600$ and have a comfortable setup. Search a lot through computer forums and you'll find what suits you best.

The only reason I recommended the AMD A10 over intel is that it's got a built in GPU (about 2x as good as the intel discrete graphics) and with the FM2 motherboards has full dual-DVI + vga output. I'm running one with a 30" + 20" both at native res and can play 2 year old games at high graphics and the newest games at medium-low (and easily meets any poker needs). No need for GFX card with this setup, but if you were to get one I'd get an intel i3/i5 instead as the AMD A10 only makes sense if you're using it for both CPU + GFX.

that's what I am aiming at in my setup, but strictly for poker if you say that the performance is great on AMD A10 while running two monitors it should be good

With the SSD, I'm not sure I do plan on leaving it but was planning to build it in california and take it with me to mexico, I may just order all parts and ship it to mexico that part is where I'm thinking first.

Yep thats how much I'm looking to spend in total, because I already have two monitors and I just need it to be good enough to play on poker websites, and have a fast running hem. It seems like the SSD is juts the dealbreaker, and pretty much its a freebie, because same cost as other computers I have looked at except I just have to pay for SSD. I think I already have a good general idea of how I want it to be.

Today I just battled my first HUGE whale who stayed to fight, We proceeded to have a 500 hand battle (about 4 hours long- everything was limped), and at the end he won and declared "bye, bye".

Before I could ask if we could play tomorrow he just vanished.. will he return again?

So today is my day off.

Days like these I just really think a lot about poker, think about people think about the world think about my motives.
My motives change over time, I'm open for change I've had experiences where I seem so hard-headed and one moment later I'm willing to be open to the idea. Its just so much better to work and understand and change your views over thing that now make sense to you that didn't make sense to you in the past.

I remember my first and only motive here: Sacrifice everything to make things happen for my family change there lifestyle.

Now I know that is not the way to approach it like this drastic sudden change, they seem content and where they are and I love them for all they've done. I was thinking about just giving everything I got after this give it to them, and begin my ventures to change the world. I guess while I was staying in Cambodia and Mexico my plans and motives have changed. I don't think that's a bad thing I still want to do good to the world, but I want to approach it in a different way. I want to talk to different people and help different people in an indirect way BECAUSE no one deserves anything in life for free NOT even my parents. That's the reason why the world is the way it is, ****ed up isn't it? It's because the majority isn't willing to help them selves and if they fall they don't pick themselves back up ( I was one of them, I tried to ride a bike I fell one time I gave up. I wasn't a champion, whoever learned how to ride a bike when they were 5 or 6 years old or whenever you learned I hope your thinking right now "Despite falling so much times I picked myself up and made that BIKE MY BITCH").

BTW: this year I will learn how to ride a bike/ maybe next year either way I will learn how to ride it and when I do you best believe I will scream "I ****ING OWNED YOU" am I weird? hell yeah.

My motives will always be the same to make a positive impact in my family life, the world but I feel if I just jump in with all of this lets say I make a million (I guarantee I will or die trying /brag? (possibly) ). they won't even know how to live life and its just too much. So the way I planned on approaching it is setting up something where they work for me under better pay. What it is exactly I don't know, but it'll come to me its an obstacle i'll figure out in the very distant future.

I use to envy the rappers and say there ****ing ******ed and all they talk about is money.

1 year later I mainly listen to all there songs because I've thought of it in a much different perspective. There bragging and rightfully so they've made there money and they made it where they want to be. I got nothing but respect for them and listen to all their music, repetitive? Maybe, but sometimes I need to get things into my heads multiple times to finally take action we all playing poker because were in it for the $$ and if you have anything to say other wise to me well..

I think your original line of thought on rappers who brag about money was correct, they're ****ing idiots. They do it because they have absolutely nothing of substance to say. I can see where that is coming from. Its just at the moment the things they are saying is very relate-able and when I listen to the lyrics reminds me of how I was in the past and how I did nothing. Its more of a motivation to keep pushing and going to the finish. Although everyone has different views on everything .

I swapped computers and now finally have a real desk, a real set up and can actually start grinding only thing that is missing is my speakers :'(... I'm definitely going to get a new one. Anyways heres my graph since swapping.
