Yep, imo you should go to the gym as well. (maybe you misunderstood me?!)

Doing sit-ups is obv a fine idea, but keep in midn that situps is not the type of exercise that will gain you a lot of muscle. It's burning some tummy fat and gaining a bit of AB muscle.

In Cambodia there is PLENTY of rice. So that's something that can make you gain wait easily. The old school body-builders eat Rice and Chicken. You can get that pretty much anywhere. Eat a lot of rice.

No reason to wait until mexico.

Erm no. You cannot spot reduce fat, hence you cannot "burn tummy fat" by just doing sit ups. Fat gain/loss is an overall process. Also, they are a pure endurance exercise, you can't build any sort of measurable muscle mass. All in all, sit ups are completely useless & your post is crap.

Sit ups are actually not useless, but for the most people are, I agree with that. I have some friends that make 1000-3000 push ups + 500-1000 sit ups, etc / everyday
and they look shredded and big, probably more than most of the guys you can see in your fitness.

For the sit ups and pushups, no I understood it that way, I just thought that it would take up less energy then going to the gym instead. To be honest I'm so beyond confused right now. I've gotten so many different answers and I don't even know which one is correct.

Well, I just meant as in the long run as in by the end of the month if I followed goal by goal I would have to spend much more on food. It wasn't just because of the milk, its more of like should I start now and spend more vs start later and just catch up. I really don't know who I'm suppose to listen to.

There is no calorie estimates when I go eat rice I can make assumption I can't ask them, there is NO point of me buying rice at home and eating it at home since it's just as cheap eating out and I would save time etc. For what its worth ALL I eat is rice I eat it for breakfast lunch and dinner, and now am planning to eat other things on the side such as bananas peanut butter sandwiches and milk (that was the initial plan). NOW I don't know what to do exactly. I think I'm going to stick to that.

No I understood you for 20-30 minutes of gym, but then I keep getting different information of what to do!! So at the time I thought if I ended up walking to the gym and doing 20-30 minutes it may be better if I just do sit ups and push ups at home.

This is what I mean, I appreciate all of the help guys I really do in terms of fitness EVERYONE is trying to help me I've gotten like 5-6x the response about health related things over poker. Everyone disagrees with each other, and I just don't know who I'm suppose to listen to that is why I was so confused about whether or not I should go to the gym or not and what I should do in general. But from now on (just how most humans learn, I'm going to be listening ONLY to the people who actually has shown results over a time frame and be following there footsteps).

When people make statements that go against your understanding of biology, be skeptical and require empirical evidence demonstrating this fact - either ask them or go look yourself (ie. replicated studies showing how you can spot reduce fat doing specific exercises, replicated studies showing how extremely high frequency exercises can induce muscle growth at a reasonable rate), the evidence will be there if there's an effect, and if there's not strong evidence it's probably safe to dismiss it at this time (still being open to the possibility of it being true if new evidence is presented).

Just find a complete sport you enjoy, don't listen to all those fake "experts" who think they know everything because they've read the blogs of a few juiced-up meatheads.

Swimming sounds perfect for you. Find some videos (youtube, torrents) of lessons, make sure you focus on developing perfect form (more important than anything), and swim hard (almost to exhaustion) every 2 days.

Eat well on top of that, several small meals is a lot healthier and better for your metabolism than big meals that will also tire you and take a ton of energy away to deal with digestion, and don't worry about anything else for now.

When you're healthier and have put on decent muscle mass (which you will if you swim well and hard), you can start doing bodyweight type stuff (pushups, pullups, etc...), to be honest right now you'd probably hurt yourself more than anything without good muscle support, no one to give you form guidance, etc...

When in doubt about whom to listen to, just use common sense and seriously think about what people are telling you to do.
Also, swimming is great cardio, which will help you in many ways.

You don't need to get into nutrition, all that shtt. Again it's common sense for the most part. You don't want to be an olympic athlete. Fish is great, obviously. Meat, carbs, lots of vegetables, no refined sugars...not that hard to figure out.

Again be careful, a lot of people will try to turn you into a gym rat who takes protein shakes and what not. Not only is that stuff unhealthy in many ways, but it's completely useless for what you want and need.

LOL are you for real?

Nutrition are awesome they help out a lot. Specially for people who train HARD. Although not perse required first 3 months.

Donno maybe you got fantastic genes and got big from swimming. But I was skinny ass and had train train hard these last 2 years constant at 4+ times a week average and eating and sleeping well etc to gain weight. I went from 145lb to 180lb. I can tell you it wasn't easy but I am proud I was able to. The best decision ever I feel and look 10 x better because of it and I have learned to respect myself.

My advice would be to listen to Arnold motivation videos he awesome he has had so much success in his life from Bodybuilding to acting and politics.

From my own experience start Eating like crazy buy ****load of bread, fatties milk, pasta, rice, grains, potatos etc. Stuff that are easy to make and give carb booster and contain ******ed amounts of calories. Furthermore, Learn how to boil chicken its easy all you need is water, salt, chicken and a pan. You will need proteins and you can get that from chicken and eggs. You can eat up to 5 eggs per day np I have done research on this(not raw obs). And unlimited amount of egg white.

But don't listen to me here is a guy who studies fitness like we study poker. Watch this 3 min vid and decide if you want to watch his other videos. The guy is legendary.

If you start now probably fullbody is the best type of weightlifting you can do since you are a beginner but doesn't really matter. Learn the right form using youtube videos or asking people at the gym. IMO snap buy creatine and a good weight gainer when you are in mexico. Helps a lot but don't take my word for it you got the internetz just research it all.

I better just stay outta here. Eat a lot if its healthy. Eat fruits and veggies all day and ur good to go. Fish and chicken to if u want meat. U dont need a gallon of milk a day but some is good. If ur only 100 lbs ease into it. Gradually eat more. Peanut butter sandwiches are good. Buy stuff with the least amount of ingredients. Avoid packaged BS and sugar as much as u can. Some is ok.

I skipped some of the same blabla posts about "experts" claiming other "experts" are wrong and bla bla... BUT!

I cannot imagine fish, chicken, rice, nuts, fruits, vegetables etc are expensive in Cambodia! And these are the basic foundation of a normal healthy diet.

And lol at people mentioning peanutbutter sammiches together with healthy "expert" training advice.

Lol at people who advice him to actually work out, when he's not working out and these are his stats. Basically he needs more weight, and when the advice is to burn calories, when your body obviously has a problem holding on to calories already. Working out and getting in shape is for when you reach a healthy body.

For real, go on a doctor's forum and ask some doctor's advice in this situation, I expect them to advice you to either first only eat a lot and get to a HEALTHY weight, or maybe they would subscribe some supplements weight gainer kinda stuff.

Huge thanks everybody again for giving the advice.

Again its still a back and forth information of who to listen to. What I'm going to do like I said earlier is listen to the people whose actually shown me some results! I've already decided myself yesterday after my free day that I will start simple and then slowly adding more. I will be going to the gym but only for 30 minutes and will be eating two small meals before and after it to compensate for the amount of energy I've used in the gym.

Lol @ doing sit-ups would burn "tummy fat". It's a crap excersise to burn any fat and you can't burn fat in a specific area for that matter.

I agree tho that he has to go to the gym to gain the weight, do squats, benchpress and deadlifts and eat rice and chicken

if you are working out at home do squats,push ups, lunges and if you have weights some type of military press.. these exercises will get you the most mass. eating solely rice will not gain you much muscle. you need protein to repair the muscle which you tear while exercising. rice + a protein source is a good way to go, if you can then add some veggies to a few of those meals.

Today I had a really disappointing day. Sad part is I didn't even play poker, I overslept a ridiculous amount my alarm didn't go off and I slept for 14 hours.. WHAT THE ****!! Unbelievable seriously. This time I'm going to prepare and give a big **** YOU to the alarm. I now have THREE phones set up(two of them being my cousins, and I got one also) set up for an alarm clock. I will NEVER miss a day like this again.

Months ago, I had the biggest losing mentality ever this is just going more into it. There's still so much in me that I need to improve, and the fact that Gordon has accepted that just because he knew I was willing to work as hard as it takes to fix everything is just something I appreciate so damn much. I have a lot of life leaks, a lot of poker leaks, just had so much bad things about me because of the way I once thought of life and I've changed a lot but I still have so much more to improve.

Anyways I would only be able to play a little amount of poker today so I'm just going to cut it off for today and listen to Gordon's tilt free today advice "tomorrow is another day" and STUDY all day and coach for FREE AGAIN!!

Roszzz: thanks for that, i think i may do that when I get to mexico right now im just eating and unbelievable amount and the time I take to have to go somewhere to check my weights in the scale may not even be worth it at this moment (im leaving cambodia very soon in about 2-3 months)!

I was playing so bad today, it took me a while to realize it. I was auto piloting, I wasn't really thinking my spots thoroughly and I was being a massive station with a combination of just not being able to adjust someone who was playing awful. It took me a while of grinding him out to eventually grind out the lead. Anyways, doesn't matter I HONESTLY expected not to play my best game, but this poor volume thing has to change and me only playing in my "a-game" only also has to stop. I also have to play in my C-game, I also quit regs if my game is so completely bad like today. He had a massive edge on me today just because of how bad I was playing.

Anyways /end rant. here is my graph for this 4 hour session.

Yeah I'm gonna stop today I am playing so damn bad! ended up getting only 6 hours today ffs, but jeez I was playing god awful and quit for today. I was playing so damn spewy (don't know why I'm very LAGGy, but I'm usually not a spewer) I think I was really unfocused, someone was over my cousins friend and they were continually talking that probably added a huge amount to my bad play. No excuses though it was a lot of me just being so spewy and running a bit bad. I DONT even blame EV. I just needa chill today and fight another day if I manage to get around 1.5k hands playing my A-game would be more then happy(it seems like I can't do this at the moment). I would be able to play 2300-2500 hands playing at all times if I kept the amount of hours I wanted to play.

I know for sure once I'm able to do this I will finally be able to make my second breakthrough. I'm gonna think it over, study and find out what really "made" me feel so spewy. Some guesses would be the food I'm eating I've only been eating FATTY foods chips all day, and burgers fries and really oily foods.

My volume this month is looking really bad and may end up being another low volume month.
I feel like I have so much problems to tackle I've gone through so much this is just another obstacle I have to fight (usually I've felt a lot weaker at this point and lose a ton of confidence now not so much). I hope I can find some kind of solution to this, it seems like I have a LOT of problems and injecting logic has helped but theres so many things I have to worry about that it may be overwhelming me I don't know. I CAN play countless hours (Gordon KNOWS this even though I haven't proved it as of "late").
I feel like I need to resort to one of those psychological people but would be cost a ****load of money. Don't know just gonna try to fix this problem myself!

No i mean its like, it doesn't keep me as focused and causes less errors. I don't know like people say eating fruits, drinking water will allow you to be more attentive and stuff.

I can confirm drinking water. The first thing that dehydration affects is your brain function. Keeping hydrated during sessions is a must.
