you stop loss at 2k. What stakes where you playing ? Like whats ur buy in stop loss?

I have a super strict buy in stoploss at 1KNL of 2 Buy ins right now as I haven't "officially" made it my main stake yet.

except for that its a 5 buy in stop loss.

One main important concept to understand is that just like in most sports, games are won in the defense.

In poker that means everybody can win when things are good, but most players don't hold on to their winnings or go monkey when running bad.

We've never made this about pride and moved up/down from NL200 3 or 4 times iirc. Same will happen with NL1k if needed.

Everybody should see that despite this being a "miracle story", we have normal ups and downs like everybody else. You should learn how to deal with them. That's what makes or breakes you.

nice thread. i wouldn't concern too much with regerdz to expected value by stakes. if under ev or over ev its probably going to cause tilt both ways. what sites you play on?

EV is not a huge deal for me.. unless i Look at it all at once (and I have to have constant losing days for it to really effect me) so in the end I just care about the greens lol

Today... I did not win poker wise(but I still felt like a winner). I was down 2K very early in the beginning of the day, and I just grinded it back out.. My favorite day in a long time. I love poker again. lol

I put in 10 hours and ended up coaching in total for about 2 hours or so. Pretty much all I did was poker and eat today..



I'ma try to do it all week and maybe calm down for a week and then go all out the next week. I'm not entirely sure what I want to do yet.. We'll see how I feel along the way, but right now I feel pretty PUMPED.

Im starting to try to gain weight, eating like 4-5 meals a day and 2 weight gainer shakes a day aswell. Im still like 2 days in only. I weight 64 kilos with 184cms tall and I wanna weight like 75

No I haven't.. lol I'm the wrong guy to talk to about that. I decided that I did not want to focus about that in the moment and honestly didn't really want it. I was never motivated for it and realized that it just doesn't matter to me much anymore. I still run and exercise from time to time though for fun.

Ended up putting another long session today (11 hours).

Action was relatively dead today. Two tabled a reg for a long time.. came out on top. He spewed a lot I took some very unorthodox lines because of that.

Had the sickest read on him that anytime I checked, he doesn't ever think I'm nutted and is capable of spewing.. so I went ahead and let him spew. I think he eventually found out as he started check raising me more on the flop (which i was never nutted anymore). So I changed the game again, constant changes was a very fun match. (I was down 2 buy ins at first).

So normally this is a normal bet on the flop with the nuts.. but since I always knew he check raised the turn I decided to do this. What kinda sucks is that I probably could have stacked him (Maybe..)

I never expected a fold agh. I was even thinking about it I was like Should I just call here? I was like eh hes never really gonna bluff again he probably has a set anyways might as well get it in.. I still don't know the correct answer to this question to be honest.. I still can't see him firing a last bluff maybe I should have clicked back again. (I think thats the best play)

hand 1: I would bet like 450 in the river here, everything else I think is perfect imo

hand 2: its hard to tell. I have that same question sometimes hehe. He cant really have much, but is it really cool for us to give a free card here? I mean not that we are ever folding river, but dunno, there are some draws and hands willing to get it in here and we might not get value out of them on the river. Its hard to tell. prolly call sometimes and shove sometimes is the right answer?

There are some draws but our line is soooooo strong to jam, I think you loose value from a decent part of his value check raising range that will get it in if we call. Yes, he gets there sometimes, but he also barrels sometimes I would assume to with gutshots or whatever when they brick. Unless I realllly think hes near nutted I'd call always.

Hey, it seems you are using weaktight and manually remove the villains names. Theres an option on the right "Show Player Names", which when disabled will use the position names.

Even easier: Click on the "2p2" button at the top of your hand and copy that stuff in here, it will be converted to the 2+2 format.

Yeah I should have over bet, I mean he always has a set or two pair here. Looked back at it.. and def think thats the best play. During the time I was reviewing it though I was thinking about should I have bet the flop still or not would I have been able to cooler. I come to the conclusion that I probably wouldn't have been able to.


hand2: I thought this one over too (I actually thought he was near nutted at the time.. now that I were to go back on it I think clicking back is definitely the best play it accomplishes both, prevents him from getting the draws for free and if he has a set or two pair well hes gonna get it in anyways.)

Today I ended up only playing 9 hours, told myself to not overwhelm myself.. I think tomorrow though I'ma try to shoot for 10 hours again. No idea yet. Anyways was another great day.. finally feels good to have two back to back winning days
