Yesterday I played a very short session and decided to book a win and call it quits for the day. I don't plan on doing this that often, but IMO at this moment it probably is the best idea.

It's been very tough, obv. getting hurt over a decent month (I really am), more because I think I could do even better. I'm still getting use to everything, and I hope next month I will be able to make less mistakes, understand what I'm doing right, and what I'm doing wrong and do all of those things the next month all I can do is move forward. I must admit I did lose interest for these couple of days I kinda just went MIA, playing very few hours with days where I had to stop loss and days where I just didn't feel it at all where I couldn't stand poker. During the days off /short days where I went out and did other things is when I actually realized what was going on.

I definitely started losing interest which may correlate a bit to the results (probably not enough to change last week into a winning week though), but it probably coulda made it a better week, Gordon was looking through my hands and said I was playing too aggressively, and thinking about the same thought "WELL HE CAN HAVE A BUSTED DRAW" every time to justify my reasoning. I took a pause on everything and reevaluated my thoughts, went out a lot. Now I'm not entirely "into" poker, but have a much better mindset then I did last week. Hopefully I'll be able to start picking it up again I gotta remember why I started. I'm probably gonna switch my day off to spring break days.

Anyways, had to write this out because maybe some people are going through the same thing. I've been a caveman for too long over here I stayed at home all day, and when I wasn't playing poker I was watching movies on my laptop.

First time poster who decided to register after reading your inspirational thread. Great to see how you've decided to follow your dream and how honest and transparent your being throughout this thread. I honestly wish you all the best!

PS. There has been so much garbage posted about putting on weight, people who have no experience about building a decent body tend to overcomplicate things. I went through a similar chang to yourself so I cant relate. I was about 5"2 when I was 16 and then went on a huge growth spurt. When I was 19 I was about 6" and weighed about 130lbs. I'm currently 25, 205lbs and shredded. I'm not trying to brag, I'm just saying. If you want any advice about putting on weight PM me.

Thanks dude . Thats why its a blog ! I wanna look back at it when I make it and see the good times, the bad times, and the mediocre times.

As to the weight gaining thing, I must admit also I've been slacking I don't know how to add it in and have been very disappointed with myself in terms of gaining weight JUST IN GENERAL, because i've done NOTHING to change it. Although, its been hard trying to do 8 hours of poker I sleep for around 10 and I got a lot of other things I have to do such as blogging/ excelling my sheets/ reviewing/ while now trying to balance my life.

So the biggest info I'm looking for is:

HOW do you full time players put in the hours while working out and keep a balanced life?

Just do a program like starting strength and eat a ton. It's like 3 hours a week. Seem like you make excuse for the weight gaining thing. Just do it, it's not hard.

Due to someone who suggested I did not post daily results everyday I will no longer be doing it as I thought it would be a great idea, I will be posting it every two weeks or so// begin taking effective action plans in order to turn things around

Plan for tomorrow:
Buy an Alarm clock I will be setting it every three hours to eat.
Check again and continually bug them if internet will be set up.
Buy Eggs/ Wheat/Avocado/Banana/Cereal/Milk/GranolaBar/Peanut Butter/Turkey
Never play more then 4 hours of poker at one time in total.

Anytime I don't do anything according to plan I will be putting up 100$ via moneybookers//stars and number generate it and give it to whoever wins.

If I remember anything else I will be adding it

When you start to eat more than usual, it will feel like you're forcing it down and that you're over eating which is normal. With a decent training programme (starting strength mentioned earlier is just that) and an excess of calories you WILL put on weight and also start feeling more healthy and in turn better in general.

In regards to playing poker for 8 hours a day.... how do you guys do it? I can play my A game for about 2 hours maximum and then I just start spewing chips all over the place. I play 4 tables which seems like the perfect amount but keeping concentration for long periods of time is difficult.

Anyway keep up the good work!

I've read that too, I was reading up on it a lot yesterday. I'm definitely gonna be putting in way more calories then I'm use to. It'll be a fun challenge I'm disappointed for starting so late, but will hopefully have pics of me getting there in the long run.

For the second part, I've had a problem with that too. If you can play youre best for 2 hours then play for 2 hours set an alarm clock stop after 2 hours take a 15 minute break and play again, with each break that would take 9 hours in total.

I got everything done, now I'm going to go to the beach, try to finish fixing my excel sheet(kind of a disaster since its from months ago), finish cleaning my place I finished half of it got tired I was gonna pay someone to do it (like 8$ or something I forget)learn how to make some pancakes and go to the internet place again.

the meal plan begins today!

Funny because I don't know how to do most of it and have to watch people/learn. Cleaning I try but I also watch and see what there doing, I feel like I have so much things to learn outside in the real world too because I don't know anything I barely found out how to use a excel sheet and still learning how to uncookie stuff. I feel like I'm behind by many years but lucky me.. more things to learn

I'm back,

I took a couple of days off again, I feel great, everything feels prepared except the internet. I have to wait one more week for me to get better internet but that is too long... I tried bribing them but didn't work lol. I will be playing in this unstable internet until then.

I been eating like a monster it does feel like I'm stuffing myself sometimes, but I know I will start picking up that weight eventually.

I finally caught up and got out of this break even stretch.

Heres the all time-graph since February 20th. Its a feel good graph (yeah being a bit results oriented), but not planning on showing the graph for a while again after this whether it goes good OR bad. And I'm aware things can go south and I think I can handle it better this time, I've been a lot more balanced, eating a lot more, talking to people daily(I NEVER did this before sometimes I wouldn't talk to people for 2 weeks!!)



I've also been listening to music about 3 hours a day I love music.

I still got a lot on my mind. I'm really trying to get this internet going but they will not not until the 10th. Tried to talk to themanager/complain etc. This internet has been fine enough the aircard doesn't disconnect often but not good enough to skype w/ Gordon. I'm also working on my excel sheet, just to review everything how everything has been since I've started working with Gordon. I'm very bad at math, and I'm very unorganized and now as a consequence I'm being punished and I'm trying to recollect every single data I can and write it down.

Anyways gonna start finishing the excel sheet since I finally got the past rakeback transactions emailed to me.

Yeah, I know its a combination of everything slowly picking up new things and learning new things about just EVERYTHING. At most FOR now I play 4 and will always quit if I get more then that. I may increase it in the future depending on what goes on.

I just been venturing on what I want to do and really finding out the purpose of life etc.. I always seem to hit those phases where I just sit and ponder! one of my best friends asked me to go with her to a festival on May 17th @ San Diego called like the sungod festival or something. I think I may end up going I don't know!

I Also forgot to say I went to Papa's and Beers about a week ago it was pretty crazy during spring break time there were like two fights and a bunch of girls from SD. Unfortunately I don't have a camera so I didn't take any pictures. Some girls were dancing and stripping it was cool.. Although one of my friends that I met down here took some pictures I'll probably ask him to see it I'll post it if its worth seeing.

I just got home from a 3 day trip.. I haven't slept yet I been up for about 35 hours or so, it was very unexpected I heard my mom was in the hospital so I rushed over to california to check if she was ok. She Looks like she's fine (Thankfully), will start updating daily again.

However, I dont get how you are financialy broke, and saving money on gym a d stuff amd you play 200NL- your fixed monthly cost about $300, so if you are 3bis up every month you should live fine??!! Please elaborate that- everything else- hilarious, brave step to move to Cambodia and start living a dream.
