Bad news boys. Shottake=over.

The runbad caught up to me and I lost 7BI today.



I survived 1 major 20bi downswing at the start of the shottake but this one was too much to recover from. Tomorrow we going back to 10z sadly. Better lucky next time

I'm lucky that Im buds with a 100PL reg that can look over some of my hands if I ask and he would have played most spots where I lost big pots similarly to me.

Just gonna have to grind out the variance...

Just fyi if I keep running like this for a bit longer I'm going to have to move down to 5pl lol that would be sad.

In the meantime I've been working on my game a bit more than before as playing when you cant win a single pot is not that amusing.

I have been played with you these days ..your overall stats were good .you will win its just bad variance in small sample.and the pool is really soft

My volume the start of the month was pretty solid for what I could do. I pretty much played every free hour of my day. Last 1-2 weeks I havent really had much time due to irl stuff also been pretty sick so instead of playing I went to sleep early like a total casual

Ok so a lot happaned since my last update.

So yeah.. Im running INCREDIBLY hot right now. And because of my BRM and strategy with moving up I always move up whenever I have 20buyins for the next stake. I then take a shot with 5 buyins after which I move down again. It's quite aggresive yes but imo an aggro BRM is benefitial to trying to escape the micros.

So anyway I hit my target to shottake 50 today and I did just that.

I feel like im on the ****ing moon right now im so happy. Lets keep this **** going strong.

In other news. The bike that I posted a while ago (with the pokerstars bumper sticker) sadly broke down. My engine decided to **** itself out of nowhere so I need a complete engine rebuild. That's going to be really expensive. Im lucky that my parents would gladly help pay for it, however they are not very well off monitarely themselves so a likely posibility will be that I will have to withdraw quite a large amount of money from my stars account to help pay for it. The rungood couldnt have come at a better time.

Havent played the past 2 days. Been bussy with IRL stuff hanging out with friends etc. Funplayer **** basically. Also won't play today most likely.

I have decided since I'm so bussy during weekdays I basically can only get home and play 4 hours. There really is no time to work on my game in that time and I feel like its really inefficient to work on my game for like half an hour to an hour at a time. Therefore I'm just going to clump together all my off table work on the weekends.

I much prefer it this way. Sometimes you just get in the 'zone' when working on your game and you start doing things really efficiently. I'm sure some of you guys can relate to that.

Don't you find the weekend games softer than weekdays though? Or do you not personally find much difference?

I mean sure weekend games are softer but I think even when the games are 'tougher' during weekdays they are still very much beatable especially at my stakes.

I just cant fit studying into my schedule during weekdays so I have to find time to do it somewhere. Over the longterm its going to be more +EV than playing the slightly softer weekend games.
