Ok, today I have studied several RIO coaching videos and I realized how bad my game was the last weeks. Was autopiloting with the expectations, that I will beat the games like easily. Started watching youtube again on the side while grinding and other **** like that. That's not how it works in todays online poker environment. My ego was bloated as ****, thinking I am the man and it's just variance ****ing with me. Meanwhile I was running pretty ok despite the fact, that I was actually playing very poorly. So I really got something out of the videos, that I can straightaway implement into my game. Was playing way too tight from the blinds and basically just nut-peddling. Not thinking about spots and opponents ranges based on position and stats. Really annoys me how I fell into that mode of autopiloting again without even realizing it for the most part. But on the other hand, better now than later when the bankroll drop would be much more drastic.

Changed my HUD a little bit and will now drop down to 10 Zoom again with 1,5k BR and play only two tables to gain confidence back. It feels like a fresh start to this challenge/journey. Not exactly sure at what point I will move up again. I will decide that on the way.

Somehow I'm really happy, that I played like **** the last weeks and that I'm now in the position to have realized it. Feels like breaking a bad habit or bad cycle at this point. Two tables of Zoom are perfect for getting in an ok-ish sample every day (2,5-3k hands I suppose) and still being able to think deeply through every spot.

Obv not a big sample since I stepped down again, but I'm VERY happy with my game again. I want to beat 10z with a high winrate over at least 20-30k hands before I move up to 25z again. Focus is on point at the moment. I'm havin fun again playing.

Today was Ting Tongs (that's how my brother named her lol) thirty-fourth birthday. I wasn't sure what her plans were yesterday but it turned out that we would party past midnight and straight into her birthday. So I went to 711 before I would head to the restaurant and bought two bottles of Smirnoff and some **** to mix it with to be on the safe side in case this exact thing would be the plan. Vodka is like the only booze that I like and I needed a break from drinking beer all the time. So when you take a break from beer, you don't just drink nothing, you drink booze instead.



So we're having a good time. Lots of food on the tables. That's what I like about the thai people when they drink. They don't just drink, there is always some smaller and bigger tasty stuff on the table to snack on. Dried squid with the spicy sweet/sour dip is very nice for example. Makes everything more social. Thai people definetetly know how to have a good time.

Suddenly when it got about, that there was some vodka on the table all sorts of people came swarming in. The cleaning ladies working in the guesthouse behind the restaurant, some older grandmas. They all wanted to take a sip of that good ol fermented russian grain water. We had enough for everybody and they were also mixing it up with Changs and Leos. At one point this fifty year old dude from england came in the restaurant (you have to go trough to enter the guesthouse behind). He's living there and teaching english to thai kids. So he joined us and we had a nice talk about human psychology/spirituality. He told me that I come about as a very wise guy and that I will probably be one of the great spiritual teachers of mankind in thirty years or so.

Meanwhile Ting Tong got herself some curls in her hair at the barbershop next to the restaurant. Was a cute move from her, because I told her last time that I like curly hair and she wanted to make me happy with it. So its around 1-2 am and I went home to dress up because we were going to a thai club. Not 100% positive but I think I saw one other farang in there. When you go out with thai people to these locations you plunge more into the world of the locals, what I really like. And like I said, they just know how to have a good time. Lots of eating and drinking with live music in there. It seems they party like this every day of the week. We killed three of these LEO 3L pitchers and left as the club was closing by this time.

So once more we're on our way to the Karaoke Bar for a little afterparty. Ting Tong was absolutetely wasted. I have never seen this girl drink water since I met her. And by that I mean, yeah whenever she slept in my apartment I was offering her water in the morning or whenever and basically told her to drink, because it's important to stay hydrated. And she would take the smallest, tiniest two or three sips you can ever imagine. So basically nothing left the bottle. So all the time she is just drinking alcohol and it just baffles me how she can look so young with that lifestyle.

There was little bit of a strange situation afterwards when I left the Karaoke bar with the cook (she was still in there) and suddendly this thai dude came up to me and said 'come with me I want to talk to you' and I was like 'yeah ok you can talk to me right here brah' , but he insisted that I should come with him and got really annoying. Then the cook came to us, being really aggresive (never saw him like that before), pushing the oder thai dude, yelling at him in thai. He left then and we went home together with her. On the way he told me this guy was aparantly one of her ex-boyfriends and he's super jealous of me and wanted to get with me into a side alley to **** me up. One thing's for sure. When **** goes down these gay dudes will **** everybody up who wants to lay a finger on me. He told me on the way back I'm in their 'family/circle' now and that I will not have any problems here. Easy.

Ting Tong is on her period right now, so no ****ing atm I found out the last time already when she was here and suddenly when I looked at my finger it was all red. Of course you need to drink water. I'm drinking like 4-5 litres every day and I feel like it's not even enough. But I tell you man, she's not drinking water. Back in the thai club yesterday with the usual suspects.

Ting Tongs friend came into the club later with her boyfriend and when the club was closed we went with his car to the next bar. I've no idea if he had any drinks before the ride, but he drove like a ****ing mad man. He had a nice SUV with the ****ing sickest audio system in the back and he drove it like one these crazy rallye drivers through the streets of downtown Bangkok. The only thing that was missing was his girlfriend wasn't shouting this pacenotes over to him. Meanwhile we're with five people in the back, nobody has their seating belt on and Ting Tong sitting right on my lap. He was going so fast, music pumping at like 500dB, Ting Tong and the cook half sitting half standing, sticking their heads through the sun roof screaming. Basically, if anything bad would have happened we would all be dead thats for sure. Still a fun ride.

One more thing I feel thats completetely different here than in germany for example is the behaviour local thai people show in a club or genereally while partying. There is none of this acting cool, acting hard ****, that I would see regularly while going to a club in germany. You know people just going out, trying to show off, being aggresive, looking for trouble. You mix some alcohol into this equation and there is some brawl going down for sure. Also the bouncers are ****ing friendly here. Again, back in germany a lot of the time these guys are ****ing hardcore ******s showing off with their ability to rule over your 'destiny' this night. I mean sure there also will be some exceptions here for sure, but in general I feel the vibe of people partying here together is super kind and friendly towards each other.

So we checked out two more bars. In the last one I had the hardcore munchies. Ate like two plates of deep fried minced pork, minced pork salat and one plate of french fries. After that I was ****ing done and some minutes later I was sleeping with my head on the wall next to me. Ting Tong woke me up and we're leaving the place to go to my apartment. I just wanted to go to bed. Arriving there, in drama queen mode again, she suddenly told me 'I go home now' and I was like 'Aight, see you'. I think she's still on her period for a couple of days, making the 'weird' feelings she has towards me even more intense, and she was somehow mad at me for sleeping in the bar and ignoring her before that when I talked with this one thai guy the whole time, who had the Liverpool jersey on in the pictures. Spent the whole day basically hung over, laying in bed and running to the toilet for these diarrhea shots coming through here and there. Finally felt like I could get up, I went outside to get some anti-hangover food and some snacks.



Just finished the two breads, the pizza and the pasta and I feel like finally alive again. **** that alcohol **** man.

Thai people are definetetly way more respectful towards each other than we are in the west. I think the upbringing here is so different. When you see some young kids in western countries and how they behave towards their parents and towards their peers. You know what I mean. Just very disrespectful and egotistical. But that's the way of life we get taught in the western world, so you can't really blame the kids for adapting these behaviour-patterns. It's just a dog eat dog world out there. The system favors the ones with the biggest egos and the ones, who give the least ****s. Completetely different mindset.
