Obviously as poker players, we don't have a boss forcing us to grind & study the amounts we need to each week in order to achieve our financial goals.

I have a goal of having at least $X in my bank account by December 31. The rational part of my brain knows exactly what needs to be done.....actually doing it, consistently, is the hard part.

So I would love to have an accountability partner who is tough/caring enough to actually enforce the negative consequences I set for myself (via something like stickk.com or beeminder.com) if I fail to meet my targets. I am afraid that friends or family will be too soft and let me weasel out of it in the end.

I think brief daily check-ins (via whatsapp or slack or sms etc.) on our progress/obstacles towards each of our goals will work best for this.

I play mostly live nlhe cash, I live in the US (PST), and my schedule is quite flexible.

If we are in similar situations, maybe this could entail some strategy discussion, Pio work, etc....but that's not the point of this. The main focus would be on accountability, volume, routines, habits, motivation, maybe the occasional swift kick in the ass.
