Day 20

So, my parents and I had a few drinks last night, so I decided against casino in the end. Today though, I'm thinking of starting with a bang and hitting up the £25+5 tournament at Aspers. I wouldn't usually go quite this high, but last week there was a huge overlay in the prize pool. It's got a £2,500 GTD, which is for 100 players, but only 86 entered last week, so it had a £350 overlay in the prize pool! It seems like too good an opportunity to miss, and I only have to stretch my BRM strategy a little bit to include this. Also, Aspers is my lucky venue, taken down a couple of tournaments. This'll be the first time I've entered Super Sunday though. Starts at 16:00 with a stack of 15K. 20 minute blinds. I'll keep you updated! Last week there was £675 up top. Could do with that for sure!

Think I'm going to do live updates on my progress in the tournament today. It'll make my analysis fresher, it'll make it easier to remember hands and it'll be more detailed. So, every level I'll just post a sentence or two along with any interesting hands.

Pretty boring 1.5 hour cash session at the £0.25/£0.25 table. Started well but then had a really dry last hour, played 1 hand I think! Down £6 at the end, tournament is about to start now!

On a break. Going to update at every break, which is 2 hours or 6 levels. So we're about to start Level 7, I've not really been able to play many hands, got a lot of junk, but I'm on 15.8K. Average stack is 18K and starting was 15K. Got plenty of chips left. There's 61/73 players left in, and late reg is about to end.

So unfortunately we busted in 25th. Played well enough I thought. Had a lot of fun though!

Ok guys, I've been thinking and I've made a decision. Firstly, I will continue posting on 2+2, but I've decided to, on a trial basis, move all of my play to live rather than online. This is because I enjoy it much more, the banter around the table, the physical chips, the adrenaline rush. Seeing as the title of this thread is irrelevant with this new bent I'm taking, I'm going to start a new thread for it. I'll link it here!

Guess I'll just post random poker exploits on here. Just in the middle of a pretty big achievement. Loaded up an MTT on sky, £500 GTD £11 Bounty. Managed 4th in a field of 52 for a total of £46.

Decide to enter a £200 £5.75 game next. 45 players this time. Somehow I managed to final table again and am currently 2nd out of 5 left. Pretty cool to make 2 finals in a row haha! Will let you know where I end up.

Edit: Only went and took this one down for a decent score of £83.25! A 4th and a 1st in two fields of around 50, not bad!
