He can always use his girlfriends phone to order pizza and then pick it up himself.

I shouldn't laugh because I've been that busto guy on many occasions but then again I've never bought an $800 phone for a gf when I am a pro poker player with a bankroll smaller than the average Pokerstars play money player.

Man if OP just kept his job and could contain his shottaking to when he showed a profit @ 1/3 he might actually have had 10-20k in the future.

Anyways OP is pretty talented compared to myself, and created a pretty entertaining thread, so GL with life, fixing some leaks and getting a bankroll again.

If OP kept his job he would initially maybe grow a bankroll, but with gambling addicts it's just inevitable before they get an itch and have to gamble for more money. He would just torch 10k on the roulette while drunk.

Common OP, it's much better to admit you busted so you can start again with a fresh mindset... Avoiding your thread is only going to play on your mind in a negative way. Man up and accept much of the criticism was correct and improve as a person

The only way of having a reasonable idea of what's happened is by asking anyone who uses 2+2 and goes to the same casinos as OP.

Re: Having a really bad downswing immediately after setting poker goals

Man, so I guess it finally happened.

I had great times here ITT in the beginning, tried to provide advice and confront OP in every way possible. All for nothing.

Well, actually it provided countless laughs and functioned as a constant reminder of how one should try to be honest with themselves at any time.

No disrespect to OP, but this journey gives such a beautiful insight into the poker struggle, with little to no filter.

I'm sure he will return to this thread one day to update.

But for now, I believe he's in a 'better' place. Working 9-5 shifts for a boss who's ''way dumber than him'', with colleagues that he talks **** about behind their backs and a constant urge to gamble it all up, dreaming of Vegas and beyond.

Go gentle, 6betme

Fixed. If he was actually a poker player, it could've worked out. But he wasn't so he was destined to fail.

Re: Having a really bad downswing immediately after setting poker goals

Thought I would just give everyone a slight glimmer of hope for their Monday morning. I am a Perth Crown grinder and am going across to Melbourne Crown where 6bet plays for a few days in about 4 weeks and will be very frequent there. My priorities will be Finding 6bet > all else. So if no sign before then will update with my findings!

I imagine in 5 years time this thread will still be bumped in similar fashion to the durrrr challenge in the hope that one day it will be revived.

Possibly, although not that many people knew about this thread. It's like OP just disappeared off the face of the earth. One moment he was providing regular updates; the next moment, it was like he fell off the proverbial cliff.
