Why can't I upload images?

Testing to see if I can get images to work. This is some chip porn at 2/5.



So here's what i did:
1) Take a picture on my phone
2) Upload file to IMGUR
3) Click the button to copy link
4) Write a post on 2p2 with the [IMG] button and the link inbetween.

Yet it still won't work... what am I doing wrong?

Is this a bad link or something? It never seems to work. I have a tonne of real life photos that I'm prepared to upload to keep this thread more visual and entertaining, but I need to figure out how to get it to work first.

Spirit's posts all read like a flat earther. Needs to believe in a bunch of nonsense to feel special and like he knows something everyone else doesn't. In reality he was a naive kid and got taken advantage of by a bad person who happened to be a female. With all this matrix talk pretty sure he got all this nonsense from whatever that weirdo subreddit is where all the angry males take out their frustrations against women, i believe called the red pill subreddit but not positive.

It says that I can only find BB codes on the desktop version of IMGUR. So I guess I'd need to make 2 posts then: one post which has a bunch of links and then another post where I go on my laptop and convert every link into an image.

I don't post from mobile. In that case just post the link you used last time without the IMG tag and people can click the link to open the image if they want to see it.

You can probably manually do it by looking at the code on your pc/laptop, or maybe you can just open your imgur account in chrome on your phone so you can see/copy the bbcode options?

No because that was $1550. Almost double the price. I can't take that kind of hit to my bankroll.

My girlfriend does work, but she doesn't earn much. It's not full-time work. It's underpaid, cash-in-hand, part-time work. She covers her half of the rent, but I'm usually the one to pay for the food everytime we eat out at restaurants, as well as the one to cover any major expenses like buying a new phone or laptop, or paying for plane tickets when we go travelling. She does the best she can, but her income is very low and she's been struggling to find employment. I don't blame her for any of this. I blame the economy. I blame the situation. But it is what it is.

We have been living together for almost 1.5 years. We often joke about how we're practically already a married couple: we live together, share a bed, share meals, share finances, etc. It's possible that we might get married in the next 1-2 years. But again, weddings are a huge expense, so it will depend on our finances.

A smartphone is not a "luxury"; it's an essential. You simply can't survive in the 21st century without one. That's like not having electricity at home. And since her last phone broke, it was essential that she gets a new one ASAP. There really wasn't much choice there. Money had to be spent. It was simply a choice of whether I spent the money outright or got a payment plan which involved heavy interest rates, and the former is definitely more +EV than the latter. What phone were you guys suggesting? A nokia brick? I think I did a good enough job bringing the cost down to $850 by buying an older version phone. I don't know why I'm receiving this much criticism for it when most of my friends go out and buy the latest model smartphones, even when they have significantly less money than I do.

What happened to the trooper anyway? I remember he was the very first poker vlogger I ever watched, but then I stopped watching him once I found Andrew Neeme, Brad Owen, Matt Vaughan, JohnnieVibes, etc. Does he still play 1/3 and is he still building up a bankroll?

The good thing about my girlfriend is that she doesn't play poker or have any understanding of the game, so being around her is a great way for me to tune out and relax. I read an article about going pro and one of the things it emphasised was keeping non-poker friends in your life to help reduce the likelihood of burning out, so my girlfriend is great for that.

The downside is that, since she doesn't understand what EV and variance mean (I've tried explaining these concepts to her many times but I often feel like they haven't really sunk in), she perceives me as a massive baller that's crushing the game and winning $100+/hr. I'm completely open with her about all of my finances. I tell her exactly how much I've won or lost after every session and what my bankroll is at any given moment. Sometimes even during the session I'll send her text messages and update her on how I'm doing. And since I've been on a massive upswing these past 3 months, I think that she severely overestimates my win rate and severely underestimates variance.

It's funny because I'm constantly being told in this thread how clueless I am about variance, but trust me, my girlfeiend is far less knowledgeable than I am on this subject. She basically believes that I could leave myself just $1000 and grind it up from there without any issues. So in her mind, these expenses are having no negative impact on my bankroll. All she sees is my bank balance going up and up each week, despite our spending, so she thinks that everything is okay and that we can easily afford this lifestyle.

He is a breakeven player at best, in my opinion he is a losing player longterm. He puts in some hours here and there at random 1-2 or 1-3 games, but admist himself that he doesent log any significant volume.

These days he is more up to selling merchandise caps, t-shirts and whatnot+ ride at the strip in Vegas with his boosted board.

I don't have a smartphone and I survive just fine. They're really not an "essential". Most people have them just to fit in with the crowd and look cool because they have huge insecurities.

Could you tell me what they are essential for exactly? For example, if you need directions to somewhere, look at your computer or a map and write down the directions before you go/remember them. Is it because you want to upload photos to Instagram or update your Facebook status in real time to show off to people? That is not essential either. Is it because they have a calendar or alarm? Those features come with a regular phone.

Last time I checked, you can make calls and texts with a regular phone - this is the only essential element of a phone you need, the rest of the features are just superfluous nonsense.

She'll still love me and stay with me imo. But of course, we'll be forced to spend less. I'm going to make an effort to cut down on spending today onwards.
