Hello people from 2p2,

If you don't like reading; skip to the end of the post, there will be a summary. If you do like reading, thanks and have fun:

Before I start to rant about my goals and challenges, I'll talk to you about my
''current phase of life.''
I quite recently graduated from my study and have a bachelor of communications. I've worked for an online company for almost a year as a productcopywriter. My contract however, ends at the end of 2016. I've got offered a 3-year contract, but I turned it down. Mostly because I don't like the work anymore as much as I used to when I started.

This leads me to my current dilemma. Choosing the safe route, go for a job hunt again, and search for a 9 to 5 for the coming years. OR, do something out of the ordinary.. and take that shot that I always thought of doing. I'm aiming towards the latter, if the upcoming period is going as planned.

I have never really been a risktaker. I've always chosen the safe road. An average study, an average side-job, an average job after my study. I feel like I've been living too quiet, I'm not really in control of my life. I guess I'm bad at making choices, so I just made none and did what came on my path. But it's time for me to change that. I want to do something that I'm really passionate about, do something that I can tell about. Having an own story.. And even if what I'm planning to do fails, I can at least say ''I tried''.

So, whats the PLAN?
Right now, I still have about 4-6 weeks at my current job left. The average time I have to spend on my job is 25-30 hours a week. My plan is to use the time I have left to play poker, and get a decent sample again to see where I'm at these days. I've also saven up enough money to survive for a pretty long time, but I'm giving myself until the end of april to prove with a solid sample that I have a sustainable winrate, that the pokerlife suits me and that I'm ready to live off poker and do something I love doing.

But, who is I?
I'm 23 years old. I've been playing poker for years, with all its upsides and downsides. I've been a successfull fullring cashgame player in the past (up to 100NL), and also had some decent scores in MTT's which really helped me going trough college. I've also had some live succes with 2/2 cashgames, and recently scored my biggest live MTT worth about €3.4k becoming 3th, which I'm really proud of. I don't really lack the experience, the only problem that I could have right now is that most of my experience is from fullring, and I might be a little bit rusty, but I'm confident that I'll figure this out.

Info, site, stakes and what not
I'll be playing on iPoker for now, playing shorthanded cashgames at €20nl. To get used to playing again, the dynamics of 6-max and the software I'll be playing max 6 tables, but probably only 4 for most of the time. This includes speedpoker (like zoom), but only if I can't find good regular tables.

I don't really have a starting bankroll, I feel like it's insignificant since I am able to redeposit. But for now I've deposited €400. I don't expect to go broke at any point, but I'm not willing to go lower then €20nl so.. you'll never know.

I'll be making more goals later about how many hours I want put in, also some getting fit goals .

I'm aiming to reach up to at least €100nl before the end of april, and to play any good table from €20nl up to €100nl.
I'm with a rakebacksite which offers me aproximately 36% to 45% rakeback, depending on how much I rake in.
I'm not sure at what point I consider poker as a good choice to go pro, but I'm thinking of at least around €1.3-1.5k income a month.

I guess that's it for now, I don't know yet how often I'll be updating, I'll post some interesting hands every now and then and graph's at least once a month but probably more. Thanks for reading, and see you soon.
