So.. No update for ages! I can't say I'm not surprised, most of my plans usually ends in binge drinking or degening, so what else is new, I guess!
The 100k hands I was gonna do in July failed absolutely miserable, and I pretty much didn't play a hand after my last update, just getting drunk and Fat(ter) for the rest of the month! Working this much and living just next to the office aaaand all the night clubs made things hard, especially when you're too lazy to go get groceries so every meal is consumed in pubs! I ended the month with 33k hands and 5 EVBB/100 for an epic fail, but I ran poorly (2bb/100), and also couldn't maintain >6-7-8 so I think that was parts of me losing my motivation.
This month pretty much started the way the last one ended, and it wasn't really until 1 week ago I decided that it's time to stop getting out of shape, stop getting drunk _EVERY_ night, stop living on chocolate when not in pubs, and start grinding again... Since then I've gone to the gym about 6 days in a week, and from dying running a 5k in 25min (177 heart rate at the end) I just ran a 10k in 50 at the same pace without my HR going over 165, so I'm really pleased with my progress being a little bit more sober! I've also just pretty much cut my sleeping to 4-5 hours while working, and 6-7 while off, so I'm getting a lot more grind in (just run to gym after work, order food at my pub while showering, eat, have 1 beer and go home and grind for 6 hours)!
The result has been amazing.. Despite doing 10 hour days at work, grinding 6-8, hitting the gym, eating better and sleeping very little I feel amazing, and the results at the poker tables have been amazing.
So far this month (last week really) these are the results:
I can't really only post the good results, so these are the combined results since 1st of July:
Hopefully I can do the >10BB/100 in 100k hands in August... I have a feeling it wont happen with a friend of mine having come over for 11 days today though! But I will definitely getting in more hours when I can, and another 55 hours in 17 days or so shouldn't be that hard!
Wish me GL, >10 EVBB/100 in August one tajjjm!!
