This is some sick bleeding. No one or two big pots lost, just constant internal bleeding, organ rupture of the worst kind. Those things add up. 9 Greens vs 21 reds.

So I created new Commandments. I already have

"Fold if your gut is telling you something"
"Think more deeply about every hand"
"Stop getting emotional. Fish get lucky sometimes."
"Take more time to extract value with monsters."

Some of them sort of go hand in hand.

New Commandments:

"Take your Hand off the Mouse whenever you are able."

Basically I'm going to try to train myself to take an extra 2 or 3 seconds between decisions and take my hand off my mouse.

"3.45 hour Sessions Shall be your maximum time per Session. Thou Shalt play 2 session a day if you are not working, One session a day if you are."

"Thou shalt not play any more than 6 tables at 25NL and 8 tables at 10NL."

And the one I've broken the most is:

"Stop getting emotional. Fish get Lucky sometimes."

Being in such an epic wreckage plays with your emotions no matter how desensitized you are to it.

I think this is now what...my 5th time taking a 25NL shot? lol, just got bankroll back up to $200 playing a few 8 tabling 10NL.

Still running 20bb/100 over 13,000 hands at 10NL. Adjusted more like 15bb/100.

Ok, crossing my fingers. Let's see how this 25NL goes

Sweat Session Review Video with Kounterfit. Has his own PGC Thread Here.

http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/17...-time-1643477/

I picked out 30 hands out of 30,000 that I felt I spewed, played poorly, wasn't thinking, or confused.

Audio is pretty bad at detecting Kounterfits voice. I should be able to fix that in future skype session reviews.

Pretty sure I'm breakeven for the day

Jan 16th, 2017.

Crushed it in my first session at 10NL. Got over $200 bankroll, mixed in some 25NL for 2nd session.

Then played like total **** in 2nd session. I mean bizarro land. I blame it on being sick and having the intellectual capacity of a turd right now.

So like after the 2nd horrendous play , I just closed the tables out before I vomit my bankroll all over the keyboard.

New rule: Don't play when sick?

Tomorrow is my day off and I apparently have like 5 sessions I haven't reviewed yet in video so tomorrow will be a review day if I'm not feeling better. Probably rewatch some of my newest sessions as well and try to figure out some overall/overarching theories that may be leaks of mine.

starting a bankroll back at GPN, dragon room - Rakeback is pretty awesome.

$500 deposited to that site and I'll be using both sites, more tables, more selection, better rakeback, etc etc.

I'm going to officially move into a 20 BI management now because I just invested more of my own money into the site.

Before I was using 10BI management because I only deposited a small amount.

Feeling sick still, haven't played poker today, and will not play poker.

Watching some HU cash strategy vids as GPN will be lots of HU and short handed games until tables fill up.

Also get to start up OMAHA short handed, which means HU OMAHA and one of the best ways to win money is HU vs nooby OMAHA players , so excited about this too!

One hour spent on 9 hands lol. I'm still sick and I needed to speak a little slower and softer. I had to take more time to think because my head is foggy.

Probably just going to sleep soon and forfeit review today.

January 19th, 2017.

8 hours of poker. A mix of HU 25nl, 3 or 4 or 6 way on 6 max tables, 50NL full ring, 10PLO, 10NL 6 max. Between 4 to 8 tables depending on how my concentration was. HodgePodge of everything.

DragonRoom: Starting Bankroll $500. Ending Bankroll $554. +$54 profit.

Sportsbetting:Starting Bankroll $170. Ending Bankroll $141. -$29 profit.

Total for the 8 hour day. +$25 profit.

Not sure how many hands I did. Probably over 4k tbh. Dragon Room there is no HUD compatible with it so I'm going YOLO on all the tables.

I'll probably just list it as 4500 hands every day I put in 8 hours. I'll mostly be 8 tabling anyway, or the equivalent if it's like 5 tables of 6 max and one HU, etc.

Didn't get any review in today. Probably should do that after this post.

Big Change. I did some financial analysis of my situation and I can get by the next 8 months without serving income so I put my 2 weeks in to that job. I hated it there tbh. Now I'm getting rakeback at Dragon Room, getting in tons of volume daily will be my goal.

I have an entire schedule mapped out and I will start to follow it strictly. I will be following a very strict budget for food/entertainment as well.

Cutting out the alcohol severely. No need to drink , really at this time. I'll do it for pleasure once I get one or two good profit months.

Will be investing the next 2 months profit + rakeback back into the bankrolls and splitting them between both sites.

I am ready to do this once again.

I'll still be doing review videos. Probably do one hour of review before my first session (4 hour session), take a nap, do another hour of review before my 2nd session (another 4 hour session.)

8 hours a day of poker, 2 hours a day of review.

I'm going to do this EVERY day for the next 6 weeks until I get a suitable bankroll that will allow rakeback to be a bit more like monthly income, then start taking 2 days off a week that will be set aside for review (probably 6 hours each day) and 9 hours 5 days a week.

I will move into a 20 BI bankroll management because it's more of a necessity now.

at $1,200, I'll begin 4 shots at 50NL. If that fails, I'll just grind until I get to $1500, take 4 more shots. If that fails, I'll grind until I reach $2,000.

I won't touch 100NL until my bankroll reaches $3,000. 30 BI's for that as my income will depend on the profit and rakeback at the tables.

Will get a gym membership tomorrow. Gotta get out of the house and exercise as well if I'm going to be grinding this much lol

GRIND IS REAL. LET'S DO THIS.

Yes, it does. But not at any one limit. It's better to have one site as a main site and use GPN to fill in a few tables.

And thanks, I was an online grinder before at Full Flush/GPN - Until FF shut down. I'm craving for that time once again when I can get a bankroll to play live - I much prefer live play than online because it's more relaxed, you aren't put in tough spots every 10 seconds (lulz) and you can truly truly exploit casino players if you pay attention and watch every hand like the shark you are.

I feel so free and alive again now I have freedom to play all day, review all day if I want. No stress, no depression from restaurant work. Alcohol free, just feel so fresh. I lived like this before and loved it.

Once I prove myself in graphs/stats/etc, maybe I can get a decent staking for live 1/2 and pro once again within maybe 6 months.

Leak Finder Analysis of my Play so Far.

Squeezing too light OOP. Better to Squeeze IP so you are in control of the pot size/action.

Calling squeezes OOP with trash like A10o. I mean seriously, you know better than to do this.
(Only one instance of this though.)

Not shoving turn when you hold nut hands in 3 bet pots. If draws don't hit, villain might not
shove or call. But they might call you shoving over top of their bet with their draws. It also prevents more scare cards like an A
hitting and shutting down the action.

Getting it in with AK or 4 betting AK OOP.
Sometimes flatting AK is good against a loose range.
Get Value from weaker Ax and Kx IP vs a tight blind 3 bettor.
5 bet bluff shoving occurs very rarely in micros and you aren't going to be up against too many Axs where your AK can gain more equity.

4 betting JJ, 1010, etc vs tighter villains. If villain flats you're in a tough spot. If they shove on you, you don't have the best equity. Just flat their 3 bet and play poker postflop. Blind vs Blind is a better spot to GII with 1010 and JJ at micros.

4 bet bluffing with K10o, A8o and calling villains 5 bet shove. You don't have equity here.
(2 instances of this, breakeven EV at best after running scenarios through equilab...as a matter of importance, I did call vs top of the top LAG stats where I felt they could be doing it with a wide range but still...bad play to call with these.)

Peeling draws on the turn. Villains might not have a strong enough hand to get the rest of their stack.
Consider shoving the turn instead with a super draw if villain double barrels a lot.
Fold equity is strong here.

Calling too many 3bets OOP. They probably won't be exploiting you. 4 bet bluff instead or fold.
Pick villains that are not LAGTARDS. ABC, TAGS that might do it from the blinds.
Even if you have AQo and miss, you x/fold and then what? You're screwed. Playing OOP in 3 bet pots Sux.

x/raising and getting tricky against dumb**** lagtards that will float you with 10 high
then steal on the turn or river. Just value them instead.

Before calling an all in or overshove from villain, let the timer run down a bit
and get a better feeling with your TPTK type hands on dry flops.

Getting AKo all in in a 3 way pot all in preflop doesn't have good equity.

Not believing sudden fish aggression. More often than not they probably have something
random/good.

Fold more IP with weaker hands like J10s to big squeezes from LAGS. If you miss, it's hard to win pot.
If you hit, they could have you dominated.

Getting too wild with things like 88, 99 even over 100 BB's deep sometimes.
Gotta just relax, play more ABC.

Get away from break even EV plays. If you don't have a feeling that you are positive EV
Don't get involved. It is better to save your stack than it is to flip in a (0 EV) scenario
then lose your stack then build up your tilt factor which is always -EV longterm.

25NL Session Review Part 11

I'm beginning to notice that the biggest leak I have - I noticed this before but you get what I mean.

Is that.

I am.

Playing.

TOO MANY GOSH DARN TABLES AT 25NL

6 tables is my sweet spot. 8 Get's me doin some things that make me think I am being possessed.

So I'll stick to 6 tables. Make this my number one rule.

2nd rule is to play no longer than 4 hours maximum during any one session.

3rd rule is to shut down everything and focus on just the tables.

No forums, no netflix, no you tube browsing, no texting, no porn, no looking at how pretty my princess is (princess is read as kitty kat)

Strictly poker. It's my profession. It's my income.

I should be beating 25NL and yet I am not over 20,000 hands. Run bad + bad play + unfocused + arrogant is not a recipe for Success.

January 20th, 2017.

7.5 hours of poker. Mix of 25NL and 10NL, 6 max.

DragonRoom: Starting Bankroll $554. Ending Bankroll $502. -$54 profit.

Sportsbetting: Starting Bankroll $141. Ending Bankroll $100. -$41 profit.

Total for the 7.5 hour day. -$95 profit.

Pretty brutal day. Having ridiculous luck at 10NL. High variance spots in 25NL.

A List Of Leaks I ***Will Call them Holes from now on***fell into

Overvaluing AK pre flop
Overbluffing OOP to a chronic 3 bettor. Flatted 79s OOP, flopped flush draw on xQJ flop. I donk potted it, villain called. I hit a 9 on turn. I pot turn (big bet), they snap shove and had Q8 for top pair PLUS FLUSH DRAW. So pretty bad luck on that one.

But then I 4 bet 410s and ended up shoving a Q turn after cbetting low flop. Villain flatted me pre with AA. One could say it was also bad luck but I should have shut down after they flatted pre and I had no equity on flop. I will count that hand as my only spew hand for the 4,000 hand day. Not too happy about it.

Not believing sudden fish aggression
I called a river bet knowing I was bad - went against my gut feeling. Only one bad call the entire day I would say. I was making some pretty nice folds.

Went into some situations I wasn't sure was positive EV. I consider this a leak if it is breakeven EV.

Summary of leaks:

Pay more attention to sudden Fish Aggression (One Strike in 4000 hands.)

Do not overbluff OOP vs spewy/chronic 3 bettors unless you have equity.
(1.5 strikes in 4000 hands.)

Overvaluing AKo preflop in what is probably at best a breakeven EV situation. (One strike in 4000 hands.)

3.5 strikes total in 4000 hands.

MP2 61.18% 40.50% 20.68% QQ+, AKs, AKo
MP3 38.82% 18.15% 20.68% AsKc

Haven't run these numbers for a while - But this is reinforcing what I believe is a leak of mine. Overplaying AK.

Vs a standard 4 bet range - And since micro's generally seems to not be 4 bet bluffing at all (Very rare instances). Getting it in with AKo/AKs vs a 4 bet is quite obviously -EV.

I don't believe at 25NL you need to 'balance your 5 bet shoving range' - Because villains will most likely continue to be very inelastic with their 4 bet range anyway.

At 100NL and 200NL, villains would be 4 bet bluffing a bit more, 5 bet shoving Axs, sometimes 4 betting 99/88 as bluffs so jamming AKo had more value.

I need to bring myself back into the world of ABC poker and stop leveling myself into thinking villains are more tricky then they actually are.

In summary, AK has almost 0 fold equity shoving vs a 4 bet range at the micros.

Furthermore, I believe that folding AKo to a 4 bet might not be that nitty when I theorize about 4bet ranges at 25NL and using the equilab matchups above.

Revised List of Leaks/Holes, Biggest Leaks/Holes at the Top and least worrisome at the bottom, Summarized Better, More Concise.

Play no more than 6 tables/2 sessions 3.5 hours a day.

Stop Getting Emotional.

Calling too many 3 bets OOP. 4 bet bluff or fold.

Take your Hand off the mouse facing sudden river aggression.

Play more ABC. Stop getting "tricky".

Beware of sudden fish aggression.

Overplaying AK. Flat more 3 bets IP/fold AK to right villains when facing 4 bets.

Getting too wild with things like 88/99. They aren't QQ/KK.

Squeezing too light OOP. Save this for IP.

Believing I can just YOLO vs a fish short stack. 30/40/50 BB's is not a joke, really it isn't!

Beware of fish min 3 bets.

Calling squeezes OOP with weak hands.

Not shoving turn when you hold the nuts in 3 bet pots.

4 betting JJ/1010 vs tight 3 bettors. Blind vs Blind perhaps.

Calling 5 bet shoves after 4 bet bluffing with K10o/A8o.

Peeling draws on turn to bets that are probably too big. Shove or Fold.

Stop calling squeezes with weak ranges like J10s. Not worth it.

I wish to update my ticks for breaking the list of "holes".

It is not 3.5. It is 6.5. I got emotional after a few hands. I shoved JJ on a 7 high flop in a 3 bet pot and fish calls me with 56 on a 246 flop and hits a 3 on river.

Poker should be more meditative. Let's start smiling after a suck out and maybe fistpumping and cheering the fish who suck out. Somewhere, someone in the world was made happy if even for a few seconds. You should appreciate this and value yourself being a part of it.

I also didn't take my hand off the mouse as much as I would like. I broke that hole.

marking of 6.5 out of 4000 hands.

*Edited to add*

I think I prefer Leaks than Holes. Just sounds kind of weird reading it back in my mind replacing leaks with holes.

"I broke that hole"

More insanity in 10NL.

Currently on a 9 BI's below EV over the last 3 days played at 10NL at sportsbetting. Brutal.

That's only one pic of one session. Notice the EV adjusted.

Not faring too much better at 25NL. Couple suck outs today but had a great run at 10NL on dragon room to make up for it.

If you look a while back, you see I went on a (7?) day winning streak. Guess now I'm being hit opposite variance

Riding the waves.

Made some sick folds. Here is one hand. Looking back you could probably shove turn to the villains raise, but it just seemed so out of place and I had like...5th nuts basically. Wasn't so sure villain would do this big turn raise with a bare A, they have to be scared of a lot of combo's from my SB flat.

    Leaks Broken Today

"Take your hand off the mouse and think more"

I can do better. Especially when I snap called with AQ in a 3bet pot on a AK410 turn to villain shove. Should have folded that. 32 combo's had me beat and I was just sick of folding so much, I was probably overfolding today but whatever is what I say to that. If you're beat, you're beat. January 23rd, 2017.

5 hours of poker over 1 session. Mix of 25NL and 50NL, 6 max.

DragonRoom: Starting Bankroll $640. Ending Bankroll $549. -$91 profit.

Sportsbetting: Starting Bankroll $76. Ending Bankroll $133 +$57 profit.

Total for the 5 hour day. -$45 profit total for the day.

Total Bankroll between both rooms at $683. 40,000 + (60,000 that were purged plus hands not accounted for in HM2.) hands total for the challenge since the beginning. -$117 overall since the $800 I deposited in total.

      Leaks I broke

      "Stop getting Emotional"

Happened more than I care to say. Because of 50NL, shots weren't going very well at all. Suck outs, random fish doing random stuff like snap potting river with a flopped nut straight after calling my flop and turn bets, I check river and I called because all draws broke (flush draw on board too and they snap potted river when turn was 5 and river was 4, brickiest of bricks - )

"Not paying attention to sudden fish aggression"

I can't really say I broke this leak in it's entirety - I mean when you go up against fish that shove rivers with weak Aces after flush and straight are possible - Then you call their turn donk and river nuke with top 2 pair on a board that has possible flush (Turns out they had a straight instead) , and you have notes that they are spew/bluffy - I mean what can you do?

Let's say 2500 hand session and I broke leaks 5 times in the "Stop getting emotional category."

1 leak per 500 hands. 5 Leaks total.

I am going to be getting some nice rakeback in the next couple weeks which will put my bankroll over $1,000 (This is of course with the added $500 I deposited into dragon room.)

My 25NL HM2 stats are improving, almost out of the downswing it's showing and I am officially done with 10NL. Here is a graph of the final results for 10NL.

That is 8.5bb/100 over 19,000 hands.

      Not too bad.

As with 25NL, I am running at -1.7bb/100 over 21,000 hands. Was def worse before, catching up - hope to see it in the green not too far from now.

18.5 leaks broken over 4 days.

      GRIND IS REAL.

Was this vs that super aggro 3better or a fish?

Why did you donk for pot on a dry flop and fold that river?
