Week 6 update. At least I'm positive? I feel I am running pretty cold the past few weeks - Every time I flop the nuts, I get no play even after I make it obvious I show my double barrel bluffs, etc. Villain's are just not hitting anything when I flop nuts but when I flop solid hands, they hit nuts - they suck out and I am on a 18 hand streak where All in pre river with the worst hand, I don't suck out - 18 no suck out hands in a row and many are 20%, 24%, 30%, etc. I lost $4,000 to 2 outers the past 3 weeks.

Basically villain's are hitting miracle cards and when I am beat, I have no salvation from any suck outs.

But the grind is still going positive as of now.

Well, for some reason I can't get an image on right now but the overall stats are

+$875 for the week, one high hand plus a bit of omaha profit
+$475 from 1/2 and 1/3 over 37 hours, the rest of my losses were a 2/5 shot

$6975 overall at 1/2 and 1/3 over 343 hours.

meaningless sample but here you go - Starting back up at 50NL, Going to grind online consistently again and maybe go to the casino once in a while - I was getting way too tilted playing live getting sucked out on every single freaking hand it was killing me.

Now I appreciate getting sucked out on online bc hey at least I get to play another hand immediately after it and I don't get sucked into boredom tilt!

75 minute video of 2000 hand session of all pots 25 bb's and greater.

Late night review!

Hoping to get 3000 hands played a day and do 2 hours of video review.

Going to make a running list of all hands I misplayed, no matter how small - like a turn bet sizing too big or too small, just little things. Then do a master video at the end of every week analyzing all the misplays.

These videos are making me much better player. It's what it takes these days without a coach to excel and increase stakes.

$200/hour for coaching is a bit much, so for now I'll continue struggling on my own with hours and hours of objective hand session analysis

130 minute video of about 40 hands reviewed - Over the past 4 hours of review video, I have filled up 3 flash cards of hands where I believe my line/bet sizing/decision making process was not perfect.

I'm working hard on trying to perfect every hand. Even down to debating whether or not a $10 or $13 turn bet will make or break my profit vs villain's range, etc. Very detailed analysis

Also I'm finding a bit of spew, not a lot but noticeably worry-some.

I think I can make Monday nights my day off - basically just do review, rewatch old review videos perhaps - watch pro videos on runitonce, etc.

My goal is to get 50,000 hands in at 50NL and if I'm still struggling with a breakeven or negative winrate, I'll get some coaching.

But I think if I keep at this the way I'm going, I'll be fine.

Let's see how it goes.

25-40 more 50NL videos planned on coming before I decide if I suck and need coaching or can advance into 100NL on my own.

Well, I thought my sessions went pretty amazing today actually - My first session in which I can confidently say I played A+ 95% of hands - Down for the night, played 1500 hands, I think I'll try to get 1500 hands in a day.

4 tables maximum, giving all concentration to the 4 tables and no internet or browsing you tube videos, ever. Today I succeeded in this. It's amazing how much better you think through marginal/tough spots when you are giving 100% of your attention to the hand.

I have piano concerto playlist in the background - Really keeps me calm.

Got it in pre with QQ 3 times and lost all 3, 2 vs KK, 1 vs AK - So that is the reason for being negative today - I can pretty guarantee that there are very very few hands in which I "misplayed" looking over the HM2 hand histories quickly.

Once I can get through a 1500 hand session and find extremely minimal misplays/spew/autopiloting-non-decision-making-click-bot-stupid-stuff then I can consider

1st.) Extending my time to perhaps 850 hand session rather than 750

Once I can get to perhaps 2 session each 1,000 hands, then

2nd.) Adding a 5th table and moving back to 750 hand sessions, back up to 1,000 hand sessions

Once I can get to perhaps 2 sessions each 1,000 hands 5 tables, then

3rd.) Move to 6 tables, 2 sessions 750 hands each, etc

I think this will be an amazing plan to slowly but surely add volume to my days but my session review videos will really have to show I am on the ball 100% of the time, every time.

Also I will not consider ever adding more tables until I show a positive winrate at 50NL. EVER.

50,000 hands 4 tabling is something I have never been more serious about.

Session Review Part 8, 1500 hand session, all pots over 25bb's.

This time I only found 5 hands I believe I "misplayed"

All basically bet sizing issues, just little things.
One bad? bluff bc I misread board.
One bad squeeze bc I didn't think we were extra deep and villain would call bc of stack sizes.

All in all, a very solid session, I give myself an A+.

QQ loses 3 times, my 3 biggest pots lost were QQ vs KK twice and QQ vs AKs

Lots of really nice pots won.

Getting into 50NL vs extra-aggro players and wanna be LAGS, I think I found some extra stats I wish to slowly incorporate into my HUD.

Probe Flop in 3 bet pot
Fold Flop in 3 bet pot
Fold Turn in 3 bet pot
Bet river
Fold to 4 bet
3bet vs all positions - Make the popup easier to read for 3 bet stats per position
x/raise flop
x/raise turn

Welp. I had a bad beginning to 50NL. I don't believe I have been doing anything too crazy or tilty but I am 10 BI's EV adjusted negative.

Back to 25NL. Going to once again focus on strict bankroll management.

I also believe I am going to join bestpokercoaching CFP program for the 30k contract.

It will provide me with a better support system and be a more rigorous approach to this journey.

So to update, my 25NL stats over about a 30,000 hand sample size suggest I am breakeven. But once again, the sample size is not that large and I admittedly had spew/tilt/bad judgement/too many tables at once/browsing you tube videos while tables were going/playing with lack of sleep/just not setting myself up for success.

Sure, my video analysis is great and I can find so many spots where I could have perfected each hand through line decisions/bet sizings/but you can't do **** at the tables unless you set yourself up for success.

Now I'm holding myself to higher standards.

Also, I think the most important thing I will say now is this.

Poker in 2017 is pretty tough.

I was overconfident and didn't take 25NL seriously. I didn't take 50NL as seriously I should either, but I did so more than 25NL.

Being overconfident in one of the most complex and competitive games in the history of civilization is not a recipe for success.

I am beginning to feel humbled at this time - and I am beginning to see that my volume wasn't great enough to advance into 50NL without the confidence to see my 25NL graph was rising and crushing.

This was a huge mistake on my part and it is a serious lesson learned that bankroll management and shot taking should be the most egregious of all rules broken.

You can tilt, you can spew, you can be a donkey, you can play 8 hours of poker after only sleeping for 5 hours, you can play 8 tables even though you aren't showing a positive winrate - and none of that is as bad as...

Not following a strict bankroll management.

I thought I could just wing it.

The variance has kicked me in the balls, however, and I think I finally have realized this.

I am also making a resolution to myself.

It's a big one.

I wish to lose weight and to also focus on poker on the highest level of professionalism and seriousness.

So I am making the pledge to give up alcohol of all forms for the next 4 months. To plan on losing about 1lb to 1.25lb's a week for the next 4 months.

Target weight loss will be 20 lb's in the next 4 months.

Target alcohol consumption will be 0.

The longest I've gone without alcohol in the past 10 years has been probably...30 days lol

Drinking orange juice, club soda, with no energy drinks or coffee - Just get into a solid sleeping pattern. I feel when I drink, I don't sleep as well and the next day I am not focused because I desperately need sleep.

Welp. I just got through the "introductory course" for CFP 6-max crusher program, and now I have unlocked the actual real stuff.

I must say it's exhausting and exciting at the same time seeing dozens of modules with each module having sometimes another dozen courses within it.

It seems like a very very real program in which is at the highest levels of seriousness.

I think it was a great decision, I'll be posting updates as the program continues.

basically my 30k contract means at the end, I'll be giving 50% of profits to the program but I don't have to pay anything out of pocket except the $500 security deposit which I think they'd be stupid to not request - and you keep the rest of the profit for yourself at different % levels based off how much of the 30k you have cleared.

I can see why it's by far and away the greatest coaching thread in the world on 2+2 forums.....

+17 BI day 10NL and 25NL...baaajeeeeesus.

9 BI's at 10NL ^^^^^^^

^^^^^^ 8 Bi's at 25NL

All within 2 session, 6 hours total. My most productive day of poker yet.

A well needed boost to my morale and confidence.

I think I'm gonna print out these nice BI days and stick them on my wall to remember...it always gets better......just wait out the storm...

Best Poker Coaching System is working so far. I have to log in a minimum of 140 hours before I can receive 1v1 coaching but there are dozens of videos that do not even compare to other "training sites" - it's more practical and not as much theory based.
I have 4 group coachings every week, sometimes 5 actually. I can ask questions during the 1v1 coachings, and we have "post problem hand" sessions where everyone get's to post hands and coach discusses. Soon I'll have my own 1v1 coaching sessions. We also get database analysis from the worlds leading database analyst - and his seminars are insanely helpful.

I have learned how to filter my database and discover leaks -
Cold Calling bottom 85% of range
Cold Calling top 15% of range
On turn holding a draw
River x/calling or River calling 3 barrels
AIPF filtering
Bottom of the range from each position open (A2s, KJo, 22-55, etc)
Positional analysis, especially SB and BB
etc, etc

Last 20,000 hands at 10NL I am +$40 EV adjusted, pair that my previous 30,000 10NL hands, I am running 5bb/100 at 10NL over 50,000 hands.

Not too great, but hey I was kind on my own with no guidance.

25NL I was breakeven for the most part over like 40,000 hands. Some run bad, but also some definite play bad as well.

My next goal is to play 7.5 hours a day over 3 sessions, 5 tabling at 25NL. (No, not 6 tabling.)

To do 3 intensive hand reviews each day using flopzilla + Equilab + Street by street analysis, counting combo's, picking out 3 villain stats to support my arguments, etc.

Maybe I'll continue getting to some videos, not sure yet.

The program really pushes volume - something that I really lacked before.

This is probably the biggest heater I've ever had. I don't feel like I've ever really been on a heater tbh.

I have played about 400,000 hands of poker in the last 3 years online and the past 5 days or so I have won about 24 BI's in 10,000 hands.

Great for morale, I am definitely running hot, playing A+ poker as well - and overall I am getting so much better being in this CFP program.

It gives you structure, leak finding videos are tremendously helpful, and I have found just through common leaks I was leaking dozens of BI's over the last 50,000 hands. I think once I plug all these leaks my winrate will start to show for what I always felt it should be - being a pretty solid, all around good player is fine but when you are leaking over thousands of hands vs the 2017 competition, plus rake, **** adds up.

Well, here is a nice giraffe for eyes to see. It's a software that none of you know about and I won't get into it too much other than to say it's pokeit software.

that is a 30,000 hand graph over 100 sessions, 75% of the hands played were at 25NL at a site not supported by HM2.

Below is a not so nice picture, but it shows I am still beating 10NL and 25NL, but 50NL isn't catching on quite yet. Although I have had some good sessions at 50NL recently.

Here is a 50,000 hand graph of HM2 showing a nice incline the past 10,000 hands - lowest peak was -$1250, now its' very close to -$500 - meaning in 10,000 hands, I have won $750 between 10NL/25NL/50NL.

The last update I gave, I was breakeven over 100,000 hands.

So 50,000 hands I am down $650, pokeit graph shows I am up $620 over 30,000 hands.

So it likes all in all, over 180,000 hands, I am pretty much .. yeah, breakeven again LOL

Time for me go on an upswing, my poker is A+ lately and I am legit fixing leaks in my game.

Just a quick update - I've been a ghost as of late - Studying and playing 10 hours a day for the past 45 days since I joined the program.

I am wrecking 25NL now - and my winrate since I started this thread is now around 4bb/100 over 75,000 hands - and that is with a ton of spew and bad play.

The past 20,000 hands at 25NL since joining BPC is 11.5bb/100 EV adjusted.

50NL is going very well also - This month over 6,000 hands so far I am up $800 pre rake back.

Which means I can officially start taking 100NL shots within the program guidelines.

Graph of the other site I play on that is not supported by HM2. From July until Now. Mostly 25NL.

^^ It's about 6,000 hands, $450 about - That is roughly 25BI's upswing in 6,000 hands bc most of it was 25NL but actually some of it was 10NL as well.

I'll update again when another 50,000 hands or so passes - or perhaps end of the month.

So all in all I have made about $2,000 profit from when I started BPC until now.

And this is just the tip of the iceberg I am certain.

Overall since I joined BPC. But remember you have to add another $500 from the other site (graph above from July not including the first 5 days of August) Plus about $600 in rakeback so far.

6bb/100 including my failed 100NL shots and also me being a full ring noob and overplaying. Also includes a ton of tilt spew.

The above graph is taking out 100NL , so it's a healthy $2,000+ I have won mostly at 50NL and some at 25NL.
