I played 8 hours today an won $54. My reads have been spot on lately. Playing online I really started to pick up on the cadences of bets and calls as they relate to strength. Now with all the visual info it is very easy for me to sense where other people are at in a hand.

Still running hot, flopped quad 6s today. Maybe I can go the whole month without a losing session haha that would be sick.

I have been buying in for the max which is 200 and will top up after each hand if I fall below.

I played 4.5 hours today an won $428. It is my 3rd best session of the year and my 14th straight winning session. This heater I've been on is unreal, I feel like a steam roller.

I have achieved my goal of building a 20 buy in bankroll. Took me much less time than I expected. For now I'm going to just keep grinding it out and adding padding to my bankroll. I haven't decided when I should take a shot at the 2/4 game. I think once I get to 8k would be a good time but would appreciate some thoughts on this.

I played 3 hours today and won $357. I have a lot more breathing room with the full stack. I also know most of the regs and have a pretty good idea of everyone's style and who the winners are and who the losers are. There are usually 2 or 3 tables running so I rate each table by the amount of sharks and the amount of fish and put my name up for a table change if necessary.

Here is a hand I played this week. It is folded around to the button who opens for 13. sb folds and I'm in the bb and find 1010. Button has 260 and I cover.

Button is a Lag and his opening range from that position is as wide as the grand canyon so I 3bet to 40. I had 3bet him 2 times in the last hour or so. He then gets this look on his face like "this guy is 3betting me again?" He tanks for a minute then 4bets to 130.

I study villian for a minute and decide he doesn't have a super premium hand. He had recently lost a $700 pot AA vs AJs aipf so he could have been on tilt. I 5bet allin, villian calls.

Very motivating topic. I have basically copied what you are doing and am going to implement it into my personal BR challenge.

Just a suggestion. You should put a monthly winnings with your yearly.

I played 7.5 hours today and lost $203. I wasn't playing my A game and made a few mistakes. I made a few bad calls and one pretty bad fold.

In the hand from last post villian ended up having 77 and my tens held up.

I will be getting off probation in April of 2012 so that is when I will be planning to move to Vegas. That should give me plenty of time to save up.

I played 2.5 hours today and won $387. Kind of a funny session, first orbit I stack off with QQ on a J105 flop and get felted by top 2. The very next hand I get AA in the bb and 3bet to 35 pf and end up getting 2 villians all in by the turn. It definitely looked like I was steaming so I was very fortunate to pick aces in that spot. A few rounds later I get AA otb and 3bet to 50 and get 2 callers and end up stacking a guy who had KJ on a K high flop.

As part of being a professional I do my part to help out the dealers and keep the game moving as smoothly as possible. I always put my bets where they are easy to reach and always fold my cards close to the muck. I follow the action and notify any player it is his/her turn if they are distracted. The more hands that get dealt the more profitable opportunities arise. I also never hollywood and waste time on obvious decisions. When people berate dealers I usually come to there defense because they have a tough job and many players are impossible to please.

I have won over $2k so far this month which is good but I am still lagging behind the hours I wanted to put in. If I can atleast put in more hours than last month I will be satisfied.

I played 10 hours today and lost $61. I started out the session running bad vs a 90% pfr guy and got into a $500 hole but managed to get most of it back by the time all the tables broke.

Since I already smashed my personal profit record for the month I went ahead and bought myself a new phone. I selected the htc inspire which runs on android. I got an app called session logger that I will start using. Once I input the data from the spreadsheet on my computer I will post my graph here. I will also take some pics when I run up a big stack.

I'm really enjoying following your posts. I've applied some of your management ideas to my own (pathetically micro) bankroll, and combined with a disciplined approach to very basic play, I'm seeing the first signs of progress in years. I'm looking forward to the graphs etc. All the best, Mark

I played 2 hours today and won $296. Right after I sat down I doubled up QQ vs AKs. I busted same villian later in this hand:

I opened for 25 with 88 from the CO over a few limps in a straddled pot. Villian calls from mp the rest fold.

Flop is K76 villian donks out with a x2psb and had very little left behind. He was telling me to call and was doing a lot of talking I didn't think he had a K or a set, perhaps a 7, 6, fd, or air. But it was such a big bet relative to the pot it was one of those spots where I'll feel like a donk when I get it in and he flips over a K. I asked him if he would show and he said he would. After that answer I went all in and he called. Turn and river were J10 and villian mucks.

I haven't figured out how to export the graph from my phone but I took a picture of it with my webcam. This is all my live play in 2011.

Here is a graph from my online play between November 2010 and April 2011 the lowest point is right before the new year. Around this time I finally adjusted to using the pt3 hud and ran much better.

Following, for that last hand when he says he will show I've seen a lot of villians who would have the K there after saying they would show and overbetting to protect their Top Pair Good Kicker type hands from the Flush draw in a multiway pot. Obv your read this time was correct for this villian but in general how do you feel / think someones hand range is when they say they would show you after making an Overbet or Pot sized Bet?

Well, generally when I ask "will you show [if I fold]?" If they have a nut hand they say they won't show because they want me to call and see it. If they are bluffing or weak they will agree to show assuming it will persuade me to fold a medium strength hand. Now there are some tight old guys that like to show all their good hands and never bluff obviously vs these guys ill fold but if they are being aggressive I already know they have some sort of decent hand. Also when a villian talks a lot during a hand they usually don't have a strong holding, villians with the nuts sit very still and quiet. If this hand had been played online I would probably dump the 8s but since I had the chance to probe villian for clues I ended up trusting my read and being right.

I played 7 hours today and won $115.

I probably slaughtered the worst hand in recent memory.

I'm in the bb with 99

Lag villian opens to 17 over a few limps. I 3bet to 52 and he calls.

Flop is QQ10 I donk out for 50 and villian thinks for a couple seconds then calls.

Turn is 4 check, check

River is 4 I check he bets 95 putting me all in. There is no way that he was bluffing with this line it should have been pretty obvious he had trips or better. The pot was big and I knew this villian is capbale of firing with missed draws so I made to bad call he flips KQ. nh.

I also miss read my hand when I thought I had trip 4s with a Q and called 2 streets and led the river guy calls and tables trip 4s with a 2 and I table my Q5.

I need to focus a little harder to stop making these costly mistakes.

Thanks dude! I'm planning on taking shots when my bankroll hits 8k. I might try before that and short stack it if I see a really good line up.

Here is the enterance to where I play. The dragon reminds me of the variance that will be experienced inside.

I was working some temp jobs in Jan and Feb. I used that money to play black jack with some friends and turned $300 into about $1k and used the winnings to start hitting the felt. I had a +525 day in March then went on an 11 session win streak.

So here I am at the end of June. I played 17 sessions this month for a total of 95 hrs which is only 59% of my volume goal. I had my best month ever winning $2792 which is over 2x my old record. I felt that I played very well for most of the month but started to make a few mistakes toward the end of the month.

I have taken 3 days to relax and clear my head. I have missed my volume target these last two months and am determined to hit it this July. I will extend the length of my sessions and monitor the pace I need to play in order to hit my target and plan accordingly.
