It is a little hard to believe I won't be playing at the Oaks anymore 1 week from now. It appears I'll be arriving in Vegas during WSOP season. I really don't know if it has any real significance to me as the game and stakes I play run 24/7/365 in Vegas anyways.
I am going to try and keep the poker playing light this week and focus on getting my personal life together, tying loose ends and saying goodbye to friends. I've been thinking that my biggest challenge after moving out there will not be the poker but rather making new friends and finding stuff to do outside of poker. My social skills have gotten a little rusty over that last few years, definitely room for improvement.

If I was the old man I would have a problem with chopping the pot. If a player accidentally mucks hand, then its accepted such player is out of luck. Maybe dealer should pay out of pocket for mistake or written up. IMO
Nothing against OP, good job of getting the chop.
1) I guess he could refuse and risk a ban
2) I am probably ****ed, I was worried about him losing the chips while the floor was checking the tape
3) My hand was tabled, cards speak even though I didn't realize I was entitle to half the pot. I never mucked my hand the dealer did.
4) I am not sure at what point it is too late, as I rushed back in the doors I already knew I might leave empty handed but I am pretty much freerolling

I show my J on a J6668 board and he shows his J as well, but since I know the rules I show both my cards, this guy however mucks his other card and the dealer automatically declares the hand dead. So I win the 250BB pot.
I end up giving him half the pot after the dealer scooped it my way because I could tell it was an honest mistake.
What would you do? There are no friends on the poker table but I believe in doing the right thing yet I would've been up for the day and well, we play for max profit.
I would probably give up half the pot esspecially to a recreational player. If it was a known angle shooter I might think twice.
