I didn't make that many hands but managed to stay afloat with some 3betting and stabbing at flops. They actually got two 2/4 tables going which I have rarely seen, there is usually only one.

I mainly only read these for the hands and to make sure you are making enough to come to Vegas lol!! When you coming, still June or sooner?

Hey you are right, I should really get back to typing up 1 or 2 detailed HHs from each session. I have been a little lazy lately on that front. It will be my only reference to look back at in the future to see how I played. That is another huge difference between online and live, with pt3 every single hand I played online was recorded and I could use any number of filters to distill and analyze my play. I know my game has gradually evolved and all I have are a handful of HH as a window to the many hrs I've spent playing live.
I get off probation June 8th so soon after that I'll make the move. I want to play about 500 hrs before that and then take a week or 2 off from poker. I can't remember the last time I went a full week without playing poker it has been at least a year. I guess that would make me an addict.
Anyways here is one of those overpair hands I played from that session-
I've got K
K
utg and open for 15 (1/2 blinds), I get 2 lp callers and the sb calls.
Flop- J
5
8
I bet 40 into 58, it folds to the sb who looks like he is about to fold but eventually makes the call. (never played with this guy before)
Turn- 9
He has 100 behind, I bet 60 into 138, he ships I snap. Villain shows the straight and I muck before the dealer can put out the meaningless river.
Here is a funny hand from today-
I've got A
3
otb and open for 12 (2/4 blinds), sb and bb both come along.
Flop- Q
4
2
They check it to me, I've got a wheel draw so that is plenty enough to cbet 20 into 31. sb fold bb calls I'll give him a medium
, at this point it is possible my A high could be the best hand.
Turn- 2
I fire 40 and he calls pretty quick, so now I think he might actually have the Q or a made flush.
River- A
He checks and my first instinct is to just check it back but then I realize if he called down with a pair he won't be able to let go now so I decide to bet 40 planning to fold if raised and he calls. I show
villain looks pretty sick to his stomach. I think he said he had 9
9
. I felt kinda like a donk and couldn't help but laugh at how thin I was drawing and hit. I decided at that point I would be able to make a ton if was able to make an actual hand because of my fishy image but I didn't really catch anything for the rest of the session.
