Thanks for saying hi, good chat, best of luck in your endeavors. Haha... yeah my metalhead aesthetic tends to stick out in the poker room, but I might be harder to pick out of a crowd at a Slayer concert. LA low stakes games are noticeably softer than LV, never had to table change.

Back in Vegas now. CA trip was fun got to check out Oakland Museum of California. Also got to check out renovated Thunder Valley room in Sactown which is pretty legit. Ran a 5k, my knee had been bothering me for like 2 months but it has been feeling better finally so I plan to get back to training with some longer distances. Played some monopoly and won 4 out of 5 games, there is some similarity with poker as it mixes luck and skill and some probability calculations.

One month to go in the year, I think 1500 hrs is still within reach if we can close it out strong.

Kicking off 2019 east coast style







I'm doing half a week here, half a week in Philly then a couple nights in AC before heading back to LV.

The primary goal in 2018 was to grind 1500 hrs, I hit 1450. 97% ain't bad, big improvement in volume over last year. I'll go over the rest of my 2018 goals in a vid. I'm still contemplating new goals for 2019.

I hit most of the landmarks I wanted to see in NYC, took a bunch of vids. I braved the frigid mornings to go on a few runs. I've got to say it is a really impressive city, walking among the forest of skyscrapers is awe inspiring. I would like to come back again sometime.

I hit up an underground game out of curiosity. 2 tables with a list, 1/3 with rock, 100-1k BI, 10% 15 max rake. Just hung out and watched the Bama vs Clemson game and played extra nitty.

One thing I observed that I thought was slightly absurd is the lines of people at the charging bull statue. One line of people to take a pic with his head and one line of people to take a pic tickling his balls.

I arrived in Philadelphia yesterday. Parx and Sugarhouse poker rooms are very nice and modern. The chip collection is growing.

Sounds like a solid promo, not sure if I can stomach Orleans for the full 400 though.

Philly is an awesome city. I sampled a cheesesteak from a different place each day. Snow arrived on my last night. Now I'm in Atlantic City, hard to believe it's been like 6 years since I was last here.

Hard Rock and Ocean (formerly Taj Mahal and Revel) status matched my mlife gold card. Got $100 free slot play at Hard Rock plus a free buffet. Got $75 free slot play at Ocean. Binked $150 off a $1.50 spin. I'd like to formally announce my retirement from poker to pursue my career as a slot pro... 🙄

On a more solemn note, a good buddy of mine Robert G Young just passed away. I played with him at Oaks and also hung out with him in the bay area music scene. He had been working as a floor at m8trix and Oaks. Scrolling through facebook he touched so many lives, he was extremely friendly and charismatic. RIP

I'm out here grinding in LA this week. I just turned 30 years old. Entering a new decade in life, I want to be more responsible and focused on achieving the goals I set for myself.

I knew from seeing your videos you`re a sick shredder on guitar, but damn it was cold today I dunno how you can play like that with your fingers being freezing cold.
