Yes I agree with SalmoTrutta and I can see a mental leak on all of the three hands; compensaiting runbad with adding aggression on wrong spots. I think its light mode of tilting since the spots are not the worst / debatable and while on B-game not the most obvious. I will keep this in mind while grinding and see if I run to similar close spots and focus more to see the ranges there.

I was planning to grind today but first thought while waking up 7.10 was that I dont want to play and Im tired so I decided to take a day off even sunday is one of the best days to grind. Both mental and physicall health are more +EV to keep up than going for the short term max. money EV so Im happy with my decission of taking the needed day off. I bought RIO and have been doing some study and will continue.

I should take probably 1 day off from playing a week just to study and another day off to not do anything poker related. I know I lose volume that way but think its the best for me since I hate studying after grinding whole day and studying before grinding affects daily volume. Maybe the best days to study + day off would be tuesday for day off and wendsday for study. Ive been terrible at keeping schedules but atleast Im now exercising (swimming and running 1-2) times a day and generally have no problem waking up 7am. The days dont matter so much if I play nl100 but nl200 it matters more (lower winrate & obviously softer pool at certain times).

I deleted 100k nl100 hands from DB to make Hm2 run better it was lagging a lot.. To my suprise my nl100z wr from last 200k hands is 5,4evbb my nl200 winrate from total 200k hands is 0,4evbb. Not sure if nl200 can be so much tougher. I might have been running well nl100 & running bad at nl200 overall and spewing more. Anyways the EV difference is 5 bb/s over 200k samples from both stakes which is sick.

This is basically the only form of tilt I get. The mistakes aren't that obvious/bad, but still might make a small mistake or few. Nowdays I'm good at spotting this so if I notice it even in the slightest I just snap close all clients.

Makes sense doctor.

I think highest EV to improve & make money same time for me is to put in 2-3 tabling sessions at nl200 while on A+ game but putting the bigger volumes in at nl100z with high winrate and confidence. This might not get that exhausting for my brain that I really need two day offs / week. I anyways re-evaluate hands here / on my own every day. Even its for 20-30 minutes or so they are fresh hands and it improves aswell mental game to next day spot how the thoughtprocess sucked and why it does like in the hands above.

Always having to look for things to do better and spotting mistakes makes easily blind for seeing the improvement. I think Ive improved hugely both with mental game and with game theory aswell with knowing myself - even its sometimes tough with constant self reflection.

Yesterday night I woke up 2.30am and couldnt sleep after, grinded like 20-30min sessions and did some study. Decided to not have a nap and get my sleeping pattern back to normal as soon as possible. Today I was too tired to wake up at usual 7am and slept till 10am which was fine.

Results have been poor last couple days, round 2k downswing and back to nl100. Today was first winning day for a while (1bin at nl100 ) Would have been more but spew some suboptimal stuff for 100nl at following hands:

I think AKo is fine vs 50% of nl200 ppl. and with some dynamic would call. I think the reg plays up too 500 so thought he could be light there.

The A8s is vs somewhat unkown just saw 2/3 times 4b in his stats and realized its nice stacksize for shove it puts a good junk off stuff which he could 4-b to generally -EV calls. Anyways people are so nitty at 100 I should most fold pre.

Ive been putting decent volume, decent study, keeping up good mindset, exercising and meditating even while running quite awfull during last 10 days. 2k under EV (mainly nl100).. and now purely 100nl. Today and yesterday I found myself making some borderline stuff and looking constantly at results. Not the greatest mental game. Since my winrate is decent I will not worry too much and keep grinding it will turn at somepoint as always.

      --------

I realized I havent got much saved during past 9 months Ive been on the SE-Asia grind. My networth is pretty much the same as when I get started. Things I will do to make my management with money more solid:

      - I will stop staying in 5-star hotels. It sounds really obvious but when you look at hotels in Asia you see oh the 3-star one looks kind of crappy and its for 65d and you can get 4- star for 70 but it doesnt look so nice neither but the 5-star is great for 100usd. Its not a big deal.. But when i continue with the following logic it ends up getting quite expensive.

      - I will stop continuosly changing country Im staying at (travell costs + booking condos short term gets expensive). I will book something for long term (9m + in the autumn since summer is booked for Finnland) Not sure where I want to stay though.

Anywas I booked flight from Macao to Taiwan and from Taiwan to Phillippiness. I will be in Taiwan for 7 days vacation. Im quite excited never heard so much about Taiwan. Since its my first year in SE-Asia I think its pretty good to travell and look around before making decission where I like to stay longterm if anywhere.

Overall Im happy of improving daily in many areas of life. In poker (game theory) and aswell in overall "mental game" (dealing with problems) and getting fit (exercise).

      ------

      H1)

      Vs. fish . Fold flop.

As played he tanks river which means he is considering v-betting in generally. AK, AQ will snap check which makes this more ineffective as bluff. I snap jam he calls last second.

These river donks tend to be random hands quite a bit by fish. We block potential 89,79 hands he might get crazy with. Flushes get there, some two pair river a boat 84s, 74s, J4s, - 56 and T9 dont generally like to call river they jam which makes his range weighted towards boats and flushes.

Now when I write this the fold seems like an easy one but while playing not the easiest since fish do random stuff. That being said I doubt call loses alot since he may jam potentially two pair 87s or the low flush just cause he somehow wanted to call turn and on river he hates the FD so much that he jams cause check folding is awkward that goes with splits aswell. Really marginal but think Im happy with the fold.

Vs. fish readless. I was close to folding turn since the line obviosuly looks like 88, T8. Then I though its fish what if we are not at the same page at all which happens frequntly and I just played my handstrenght.

Not too sure whats best here since changes are really low he is depolarized aswell its super untypicall he is bluffing. I wouldnt hate the fold on turn but its kind of crazy

I think h1 is spewwy, I don't think fish will give you enough credit here when you xb the turn. Vs that specific fish the bluff must be good as he tank calls AA, but I think most fish are snapping AA and a lot worse.

H2/H3 look good. I think fish donk a lot of **** on flop mainly and sometimes on turn, but river donks, esp big ones, are nuts >90% of the time IMO

Fish make feeling based decissions if they are convinced villain has them beat they generally fold. Talking about the hand he ends up there with AK, AQ quite abit but the mistakes were a) raising flop on spot fish dont like to fold b) jam vs. the river timing.

2 & 3 are debatable. Turn action and whole situation on H2 reduces bluffs likely. Generally fish love to donk rivers on 3 flush and the like as bluff when they miss or even depolarized.

There was some fish involved so I went straightforward on flop. Should have checked though I think. Once a reg takes the size on turn after floating I should probably fold since he is on KQ+ always. River is nice though, especcially against Mr.Spewy cause he is such an angry guy. If I remember right he once told me he is much better player than me but just likes to tilt sometime.

Against unknown fish. Not sure readless how I would play JJ+ there. Plenty of floats he could bluff as we see but its not so common - he needs to be a very certain fish type to make a bluff there. Maybe barracuda.

Vs. fish who like to bet depolarized and block your calling range can be hard time to figure out whats going on, especcially deep and especcially if they like to raise a lot. Luckily his betsize correlates nicely handstrenght on the river.

Putting in decent volumes, mainly 4-tabling. Somehow into playing and not into studying atm. guess its cause of running well. Month so far +2k.

Had few days off from working out going to hit treadmill today. Doing a lot 45-60min runs and some swimming, hoping to be fit during summer since I love to run outdoors in Finnland during that time.

Will put study buy watching run it once since I subscribed few weeks back. If I hit bad downswing then probably will do more equilabbing etc. effective study but hope to run good and get decent volumes in this month. Im still super newbie with PIO just lazy to get going with it.

                    H)

Big one vs. goldstar guy yesteday. I should have checked how many tables he plays since he was a new reg apparently. Obv. its a spot we have to put lot of money in almost vs. anyone.

Vs. nitty regs a passive line on flop can be better though considering stackdepth.

Ive been running well lately and played 200nlz mainly. Month is around 5,5k up and bankroll looks good aswell. Today Ive been quite tired and making some pretty awfull mistakes whiich I want to analyze to get them out of my mind.

Kind of low time to make decis. on the river and was going back and forth whats going on. Truth is he is on the sevens like always, not so sure even if he ever has bluffs on turn when we go three way.

                      Easy fold otr.

Im time to time flatting 78s here especcially deeper but tbh. as an agressive player Im betting it on the flop 70%+ of the time.

That being said its tough to see me on a hand I would play this way.. T8hh. Maybe and knowing how the population is I shouldnt be bluffing here. His 99 is anyways -EV call for sure vs. the following action against but they still arent really folding.

My ingame thought process was, oh I dont like calling here can rep the straight put huge pressure. I didnt even remember positions. Kind of typical c-game spew for me.

                          ----

Thats about it being critical to myself, otherwise Im quite happy of my game and results. I took an hour of couching for PIO and it made me understand it quite abit better though it seems like complicated software to me.

Otherwise I feel like being a bit bored of grinding and following same routines day after day even improving and playing nl200 is motivating, and so are the good results aswell. A close friend of mine has been working in Australia and its been planned that he visits me in Thailand and we go to the islands. Taking one week off would be quite awesome and well deserved but isnt quite sure yet. Ive been travelling and doing pretty much everything alone so I dont feel like going alone this time - even Ive always found company on vacation

Agro reg, I was kind of expecting this sort of FD type hand as equity realization play on turn. Would have been decent river for him to bluff imo.

What are my turn options better than calling? Clicking it back would be kind of crazy but think might be good in this exact spot.

Re H4, v has like 2 combos of 89s and can be betting worse for value still (4s). I can see him having bluffs sometimes too?

That was some interesting hands, wp.

88 hand is pretty creative and I generally like the idea, but think in MPvEP (and 3way with BB) you just have too few of the valuecombos you are repping. Him being -EV with 99 sounds pretty strange to me unless hero is a nit, which is clearly not the case It's a weird hand tho.

Same kinda goes for 99 even tho this looks slightly better in theory. I obv don't know enough about your game to know your turn donking range, but would 98s be a flop raise some times? And are we donking JJ/TT ott? Are you bluffing blank rivers where the FDs brick, like 2 ? Appreciate if you want to answer those, got pretty curious about that hand.

                                  Nice results!

                                  Thanks guys.

H4 if he goes for value with 44 set he is doing it way too thinly vs. reg. If I want to defend Gto this should be call down but think we can make fold. I realy doubt most people go nuts with bluffs and its great runout for his range aswell.

The 88 hand is spewy as I mentioned. But I dont think on river I almost ever have bluffing range these positions with 3-way action. This time I was kind of spazzy with the 88 not really remembering entire action.

Thing with the 99 is that especcially this deep 89s would be quite decent hand to cold call pre. My turn donk is bit small I would prefer 1/2p I think. About river I turn the QQ+ to bluffcatchers and cant see why not doing it on a non spade aswell sometimes.

Actually maybe small donk makes him to raise sets on turn and makes river bluffs more effective. I neither know for sure what frequecys are right for him to defend hands that are close to top of his range (Aa, Kk,) so this play should be quite effective.

Yeah that makes sense, thanks for answering!

In 99 hand I think the turn donk looks fine sizing wise, as it should make him call wider so we have more fold equity otr. I agree it sounds reasonable to assume he raises sets on a board like this.

Flop cant bet, felt like x/call sucks, have generally plenty of outs + villain some semifish may find random b/folds that being said I dont hate the line and with Snowies estimations of equilibrium its 4bbs lower EV to jam than to call the flop which gives us pretty good idea that jam cant be terrible.

Why'd you fold the set? I think donking pot and then folding (100%?) of your range is, while obv an adjustment, probably not good unless specific villain?

Having seen a few of your posts, you seem to have a pretty well rounded donking strategy. I'm curious, however, as to why you opt to donk here as opposed to xr this king high board. I think I know the answer and if I'm correct, would you perhaps rather xr on a board like 6TJtt? Obv from a range perspective, we have less good Kx on the first board, like no two pairs (not sure what CC strat you're playing in SB though). Second board, depending on your CC range, we probably have more two pairs and draws? What is your CC range SB here vs LP (if you don't mind)?

Also curious about your sizing on the turn. Why pot? Why do you think pot is a better reflection of your range here and not sth like 1.5x-2x pot or 3/4 pot?
