QQ I would find a fold, AK I don't get there so what to call the river with?
I think it's fine to fold 100% even if you never 3bet TJs/AJo, esp blocking H

some of these last hands were pretty gross
pretty sure AA has to be a sighfold considering population tendencies in zoom when he takes this line(unless hes a rec then i prolly cant get away from it)
keep grinding,it'll turn around eventually
good to see you having a good time in Thailand, need more pics itt though!

200z population are nits???? What have I missed....

KQs is a sigh/whatever call. Can't be folding that high in our range, + ppl level themselves with super thin vbets
AQs jamming is very bad in that spot. There are some spots where we wanna do that line, but this is def not one of em.
Gl and in for pics as well!

Hi man! Hope you're running better this days. One question, you grind from a laptop? because I see that you're saying that you will go to other places to live

Yeah, I play with laptop and don't have much trouble with it.

I didn't felt good yesterday and decided to go see a doctor and run some bloodtests. Nothing was found. Today I've been feeling normal and having energy first in a long time which is good and I'm hoping the virus is finally over but will not do swimming and gym before I'm sure it's away.

I played 1,5k today lost almost 850d I didn't play well, felt tilted and frustrated after starting to get coolered twice on spots I had 75% equity. After that I made marginal and less marginal spews and continued to run like ****. Obv. sitting home 10 days sick and running bad is tilty but no way I can justify myself to tilt - that's what losers do. Month ended 1k usd up, the 500nl shot costed 1k without it this would have been +2k month which would have been not the worst result.

H1)

cold 4b 7% over 2,2k hands sample, this kind of stuff I'm not good at and have to start learning.. First not sure how accurate is 2,2k hands sample on the specific stat. I guess it will make his true cold 4-bet something between 4-9% and the needed FE should be here like 35% I guess . If he is depolarized to JJ+ AK, and calls that all off and on top of that he 4bet folds like A2-A5s type of combos we are no were near having a +EV jam.

This is the worst case scenario for our hand and I think the reality might be he is polarized has decent amount of bluffs / or he makes a 4b fold w, TT/JJ occasionally but I still think this will end up losing / BE at best.

Here the turn is a w/a w/b spot we should check - facing the jam I wasn't sure we can find a fold w. overpair + FD on 3b pot.. But in this situation it should be a quite clear b/f as played but a better way to play it is to x/back the turn.

Well a few amateur mistakes & borderline plays and not a great month result wise but moving overseas and stuff obv. takes energy. Anyway it's much easier to say "I don't tilt and running bad doesn't affect my game" when you run good but once you start taking the hits and have 100k BE EV stretches it's not easy to play A+ game.

My plan is to play next 6 days 100nlz 4 tabling - think I have a good edge try put in a decent volume before Phillippines. I'll stay there for 18days and after that I'm going to northern Thailand to a small village for 1 month (isolating myself a bit for the grind ) and should be very beautiful places to explore out there.

              -----------

I play allright, feel comfy grinding the 100nl can play 4-tables easily, listen to music same time which I can't really do when I play 200nl and have to focus 100% & can usually play max 3. tables. Obv. it's much better to play stakes that are challenging to improve in game but I'm atm. imo a bit short rolled for 200nl and don't want to take huge swings so will put in volume at 100..

I've felt healthy otherwise today and yesterday but left side of my throat is hurting time to time - can be that it doesn't get better cause of AC / polluted air. I'm actually starting to look forward getting out of BKK obv. would have been much more to do if I had stayed healthy but things go as they go. Now I'll just wait the throat to get well before I start swimming & gym.. Long time without training is also getting to my nerves but meditation helps with that, I do guided in the morning for 10min and unguided standing meditation for 20min after quitting games.

Only 5 days more in BKK, the month has gone very fast.. I think I'll stay in Manila 1 or 2 days before going to Palawan, haven't booked anything yet though. I want to play live, that's for sure.. GL everyone

Things started to go my way again, played so far 10k hands this month nl200 mainly and 3k up.

I feel a bit contradictory about leaving Bangkok and taking such a long break from grind because my routine here is getting better all the time and I'm much more relaxed and less in need of a holiday than I actually was when I first came here. Anyway I'll take the routine with me and start it over once the grind continues. Of course will need to adapt cause not going back to same place but that's life. Booked two nights for Manila and I'm excited to play livepoker in Asia for first time and see how the games are. Online I'm also trying out new exploitative plays but can't talk much about strat. so far they seem to work well but some equilab work is needed I think, not to just base everything on creativity.

Sport, meditation, good sleeping & eating routine & healthy food. Always a ton to improve, but after getting healthy I realized how important those are in generally and especially for a pokerplayer and how much content they can give to life in themselves. Obv. no need to go too extreme, otherwise it will make me selfdestructional in a controlfreaky way.

A while since update so its about the time. I had a good one week off at Palawan island in Phillippines, after that I got back to the grind in Manila. I've been now in an hotel for a couple days grinding online and live too. I've liked it a lot here and decided I'll stay in Manila and cancelled for northern Thailand. Playing live is very exciting - even the skill level of the "nl100" live game of most regs is similar as microstakes players there is always plenty of things to pay attention, get reads and more space to use intuition than online.

My goal on live games is to make it to 100-200 regular (nl400) the game is often played deepstacked and there seemed to be some okay regs (I already took one shot) but I feel a bit uncomfortable playing deep on a game I'm anyways underrolled so will see how long it takes me to get there. While taking my shot I played 50bbs stack but it's definitely sub optimal so I'll stick to playing 50-100 or 25-50 depending how games run. Online my month is up 4.2k and ath. which is nice.

Solid month. Im in Manila, sharing appartment with a friend and grinding till end of october here. After that I maybe take short holiday in the Phillippines and go back to Thailand. Food is not so good in the Filippines as in Thailand, taxi drivers in Manila have been quite awfull and this is simply not as easy city to live for a foreigner as Bangkok I think. I will try to start using uber soon, the locals say its much better than normal taxis here. I haven't played much live because we needed to change appartment and its stressfull to get to casinos with taxis and have been pretty excited of getting appartment with solid internet first in a long time.

              Gl everyone!

Running pretty awfull this month. Volume has been quite solid though it's difficult.. Total roll something like 9k -> needed to move down to nl100 and today even putting my B-game vol. at 50nl. New goal is to get myself 20ke roll at nl100, before moving to nl200 again. Will put bunch of volume in and work on my game.

Pretty good spot to make big bluff vs. reg at 50nl today, hehe

Bad run continues and I'm feeling quite tilted. Will start analyzing hands here I'm pretty sure I'm playing too agro at some spots and the runbad is affecting my game.

H1) X/b flop? Turn = ? ... Think even 88 is better call than this but Snowie says this is a call on turn. Flop I'm neither sure whether the bet is good cause generally ppl. just should be barreling not doing checking on the flop cause of range advantage.

Think this is a mistake - we should probably 4bet some low hands time to time (maybe 5-10%) but we don't need to dig as deep as 34s in our range.

Considering the size of my 4bet and the texture I expect villain not be stab folding a lot which is why my x/jam turns to be quite bad vs. any a bit thinking opponent. Equity of a gutter is also not very good for jamming.. Better would be to bet once small and decide turn.
