Hey, thank a lot! 550k in 2 months I'm on a stake til 9th Jan, if I can get back on my own roll I should have a BR of at least $2000, ideally $2500. I'm tired of having $1k - $1.5k, a bigger roll will help me deal with the stress and allow me to take shots. I wanna move up ASAP, hopefully can start taking shots at the end of Jan!

Not gonna lie, I didn't play well at all. Tomorrow should hopefully see me getting used to 4 tabling again and hopefully I can blitz this makeup. $1165 in the red, let's do thissss!

Not alot to say about yesterday. Volume this year has been poor so far, but gf goes back to work today so hopefully it can be better. My aim to not have a losing day in 2015 is 4 days strong (obv not srs but you never know). Let's make it 5 from 5! Still $750 in makeup but that was $1200 about 4 days ago, so defo clearable before 9th Jan.

Asriva, HH or it didn't happen

5 winning days out of 5 but the motivation to play just isn't there just now. I've gone from 20k hands in a day to barely playing 2k. I'm gonna book a wee break away for me and my gf for the last weekend in January just now and from 30th Jan - 2nd Feb I won't grind at all. The end of the year has taken it's toll methinks. Solid start to the month...

My motivation to get better, move up in stakes and be the best I can be is definitely still there, but without a VPP goal it feels like there's no real need to put in massive amounts of volume. Hopefully with a break away to look forward to and being back on my own dime soon, I'll be back to normal!

Having said that, between Facebook statuses of my friends, being out with my buddies a few times over xmas, and my gf's sheer guttedness as she got up for work today, never before in my life have I appreciated the fact that I no longer grind a desk job for a living, and never ever again will I go back to that!

Well it's really none of my business but every time I read these kind of negative comments I just get pissed.

            1) Poker won't be around forever - That's a lie, poker been around dno like since 1800s? you better say internet poker won't be around forever - Yep it might be or not might not be (I personally prefer live poker when stakes get bigger and yep you can find games from 1-1$ to 1300$/2600 or even higher..)

And I'm 99% sure internet poker will never die too.

            2) NL50z and minwage - Another f*king joke. Where I'm from min wage is 300€(or even lower might be 240€ or smth), ofcourse Gaz is from Scotland if I'm right and I dno how much is min wage there but I assume around 1k€ mby... so now let's make a ***** calculation. 180 hours of grinding = 180k hands let's say Gaz beats it 2bb/100 we have already ~1800$ + not sure about the rakeback but I think around 100k fpp per month so it's another 1600$ with rakeback and let's add yearly stellars too another 100$ per month now it's average around 3500$/month. you could live like a king in pretty much every ****ty country and live like a prince in every normal country. ofc when u born in beverly hills with swimming pool and house keeper yep then u wont but that's another dimension, cuz most of ppl who I know in my life is making MAXIMUM 1200€(1400$) per month(ofc there are some superstars who make 2k+ but thats rare), most make around 600-1000€...

            3) Grind 100z until you die - If he likes the game and you can choose your own working hours then why the fknot? freedom is everything... well atleast in my eyes.

I could even say that you can survive playing nl5 for the rest of your life in somwhere asia like cambodia or something so wtf man 50z is goldmine in my eyes.

Ya i meant internet poker wont be around forever. I was half way through a long post in response to this but i am tired and i am sure others will explain why your post ******ed but to summarize my thoughts:

-With the recent changes to PS, it is incredibly naive to think this, heck sne could be gone in 2016
-i am not sure how old Gazzy is, but he has an average of 40-50 years of living left, its insane to think you will make enough money to support himself for that long at 50z w/o a pension, guaranteed income etc
-You seem to think 3500 a month is a lot of money in the long run, its **** and will not last forever, the beauty of a loldeskjob is that is basically a guaranteed income until you choose to retire, so eventhough you make more then them now, there earning potential will be much greater making 2k a month for 50 years then making 3500 a month for 5 years.
-Gazzy has a gf w a job, lol at him moving to Asia to live
