Haha sick edit. Fun story, on the last night just after I left the Bellagio poker room I took the last $100 in my wallet to a Craps table, a drunk guy was rolling and didn't know what he was doing. I was pressing it and he rolled the ten for the point, threw his head back and screamed "DOUBLE FIVE TO STAY ALIVE MOTHA****AAAAAASSSSS!" was absolutely superb.

God, an awful signing. No decent football played last year and it'd appear it'll get even worse this year. I am the creative midfielder Motherwell are crying out for!

Absolutely ruining 100z but still can't quite get my foot in the door at 200z. When I get back to London I have a strong urge to better my poker career to win at 200z the way I do at 100z. I've never really had motivation from a poker POV like this, curious to see where it takes me

100z graph...

Some hands!

Why does this happen at 100z but not at 40/80 in Vegas?! #neverlucky

Ok that'll suffice. I thought I played quite well when I played 200z last night but looking thru the DB for hands I was punting really hard. That's actually disappointing. Gonna make sure someone is sweating next time I play!

As for what's next for GazzyB, I'm staying with my family in Scotland for a few days, then going to Denmark with the under 17 team I used to coach for a week to play in the Dana Cup, and then back to London end of July. I went to a training session on Tuesday evening and not only is there a phenomenal improvement in the boys from the last time I saw them, but it reaffirmed just how much I miss coaching. I made a half-hearted attempt to get into it in London last year, but I think when I go back I'll set it up properly. Looking forward to getting back to London, I've got a penalty prop bet to win...

Sigh fine I'll tell it! So I open TT in MP, BTN calls, JP defends BB w Q5ss. Flop is KJ3sxx. Xs round. Turn As, x to BTN who bets 100 into 180, JP makes it 400, and I make it like 1260 and JP tank folds. Probably my worst hand of the trip in terms of not really thinking things through, but was totes worth it when I showed and he went off on one hahaha

          Cheers brah, glad you like!

Been switching between my busted old laptop and my mum's desktop PC so no graphs, I'm up about $3500 at 100z since returning, and down about $1300 at 200z. Happy with that overall!

Off to Denmark today with the Clach U17s for a week, so no updates. Last year we got knocked out in the semis, our boys were on their last legs and with a few injuries we were basically ****ed. A few months ago I didn't have high hopes for a great tournament, but having seen us twice in the last week I reckon we've got a really good chance. Especially with GafferB back in town to rally the troops!

Also can't ****ing wait to get back to London.

Edit - I've set up a binance account to receive some money for a few guys that bought for the main event that I didn't manage to collect $ for in Vegas. If anyone can give me an idiot's guide to finding my BTC wallet address or whatever to send to the guys in question so they can send me BTC I'd really appreciate it...

          ***

          Dana Cup 2018

This is gonna be a long one...

Soooo it's the same format as the world cup, group stages followed by knockouts. Only difference is the bottom two teams go through to the "plate" competition, basically so the week doesn't end for them after 3 games. Our first game was against a Norwegian team, Vidar I think, and we were 3-0 up at half time, and 5-0 up with 5 mins to go. They scored a worldy and then another which we should've defended better, but 5-2 in the first game in this format is a great result. Into the 2nd game against a Danish team called Hjórring (the competition itself is based in the city of Hjórring so they're literally the home team). They were very good, and they beat us comfortably 3-1. We were so poor in that game. Into the final game against a team called something like Frederbakke or something, another Danish team. They were ahead of us on goal difference, so a win and a win only would see us finish in the top two. What proceeded was one of the most bizarre games of football I've ever been involved in...

So again they've got a huge home support, lots of parents, several coaches, the park is surrounded by Danes, even right next to our subs/coaches. After 5 mins their striker breaks through about 40 yards out and is heading for goal. Our left winger, we'll call him X, is tracking him all the way, and tugs his shirt about 23 yards from goal. The kid goes down and even though it's clearly outside the box the ref blows for a penalty. Never a penalty in a million years. They convert. We score a lovely goal with 10 mins to go before half time. They go back in front on the stroke of half time and our boys look done at HT. It's boiling hot, the crowd are against them, and they need 2 goals to progress. I rally them a wee bit, give my instructions, and out we go for the second half. A few mins into the 2nd half and X is bombing down the wing. X is only 17 and has broken into the mens team in the past few months. Last year on the trip he was one of the youngest there (playing above his own age group), and he was very humble and shy. This year he's been nothing but a pain in the arse behaviour wise, and he's developed a really horrible arrogance. He's a very unpleasant kid now because of his involvement with the men's team. He's also got a right nasty streak about him. Anyway he's bombing down the wing, and their full back slides in and wins the ball firmly but fairly. The ball stays in, and the two kids are tangled up. The ball breaks 10 yards away from them, so my eye follows the ball, but a split second later there is a chilling scream, followed by absolute howls by the parents. X is back on his feet, holding his hands up as if to say "what did I do?" while the referee charges towards him, their players are trying to grab him by the throat, our boys are having to get involved, it's just carnage. I'm literally feet away from the parents of the other team and one mother rushes over and starts screaming in her thick Danish accent "Zat vwas a disgraaaace, what are you teeching these cheeldren?!" I ask her to calm down and say I didn't see what happened and that we would never instruct players to hurt other players. Anyway it transpires that X studded the other guy in the face. I asked him after the game if he did it intentionally and he literally replied with "aye." No apology, no look of regret, nothing. Just "aye". I was ****ing fizzing. Annnnyway the game restarts after a few mins and one Danish father starts shouting at the players in his team and pointing at X as if to say "get him". X is laughing and goading the crowd (bear in mind at this point I have literally no idea what happened). I'm doing everything I can to keep my team focused and to stop a war breaking out. I'm trying to make it really clear to the parents behind me that I'm telling my boys to calm down and focus on football instead of flying into tackles. The tackles are flying in regardless however now and one of their boys goes down injured. Their coach runs on to tend to the boy from the opposite side, and after he's done he continues running over to my side. He starts pointing at me and shouting "You! You!" He's a big bear of a guy, topless and covered in white hair. I ask him what he wants and he is screaming at me "YOU TELL YOUR PLAYERS TO KILL MY PLAYERS?! OKAY, WE CAN PLAY DIRTY TOO!" and starts walking away. I shout after him and he ignores me. At this point I realise just how important it is for the safety of 22 teenagers on the park that this guy knows I'm doing the exact opposite of what he thinks. I shout him and he finally turns round. I jog over and explain to him very calmly what I've been saying to my players for the last few minutes and that there's no way I'd ever ask my players to intentionally hurt his. He seems a wee bit taken aback by how much of a **** I wasn't being, and mumbles okay and goes to the other side. Ten mins to go and our star centre half who is only 16 and is being courted by a number of top Highland League teams steps up really nicely and plays their striker offside. We get a freekick. Centre half grabs the ball, puts it on the deck, and waits 5 seconds for their striker to get out of the way (he should be 10 yards away but he's 4 yards at the most). Bear in mind we're 2-1 down and we need 2 goals to go through, he gets tired of waiting and tries to take the free kick. Bear in mind he waited about 6 seconds for this kid to move. Anyway he takes the freekick and blooters the ball off their forward. Hoooooowwwwwwllllllls from the parents, and the referee marches over, reaches into his pocket, and sends our boy off....

.....seriously!!! What rule is that? Genuinely, what rule has the ref followed to ever deem that a red card?! At this point 100 Danish parents are wildly applauding this shambles of a decision, our centre half is fighting back tears of rage at the injustice of it, and my captain looks like he's on the verge of punching the ref. My skipper then goes into a challenge a wee bit heavily, and the coach from above is literally foaming at the mouth with rage. This 40 year old guy points at my captain and then drags his thumb across his throat slowly, Undertaker style. I didn't see it at the time, but my skipper told me after. A few minutes later the ref gives them a freekick for handball after one of our players and one of their players go up for a header and the ball drops and hits one of our boys on the arm. Never in a million years is it a free kick. They swing a great ball into the box and score a lovely goal, and again cheers and goading from 100s of parents ensue towards my players. The game fizzles out after that and at the final whistle I rush onto the park to keep my players from reacting to whatever comes their way. I shook hands with each of the opposing players who were incredibly gracious in victory considering the circumstances. The game finished 3-1 to them. Their coach waddles over and mumbles something of an apology. Ref asks me to sign his card and I told him to get to ****. He said he was going to report me and I replied with "report my nuts pal." Don't think he heard that one. The Craig Thompson of Danish refereeing, either wildly incompetent or blatantly cheating. After the game one Danish parent comes over to me and says "Good game, your boys, zey play hard ya?" I say "Oh, thanks very much." And he goes "But... what you told zem at ze start, you shouldn't do zat." I ask him what he's referring to and he actually ****ing says to me "You know, during ze warm up, you told zem to try to rugby tackle our players." I was like "what ****ing planet are you on pal?" No such words came out my mouth. I was livid at the whole situation.

Anyway we went into the plate, won 3 games, and lost in the semis vs a very good Norwegian team. The whole trip was awesome.

Thought I'd write up that match report, was fun to re-live. Poker update tomorrow!

Ty sir! Good to see you playing 100z, you still playing much live? I'll be getting back to the live grind very soon in LDN, dreading it haha

Ye those graphs are just insanity. Enjoyed the stream a great deal, I follow a lot of streamers on youtube but had never actually been on twitch. Was good fun.

The guy who commented on the strong british accent btw was talking about your housemate, not you. I wrote "technically Gazzy's accent is also a strong british accent" but kinda knew you wouldn't like it.

Even if Scotland leaves the UK though, it's still part of the island of Britain. Same as you though I'd always say I'm English if asked, as would Welsh people too I'm sure.

Such a frustrating 200z shot. Games are good, the regs are stronger but some of them are doing really weird things, just feel it's very beatable in general. I just can't seem to get my foot in the door though, and I feel so frustrated and that my poker career is going nowhere after every failed 200z shot. Some hands...

I made one bad river call, and one awful river call. Let's start with them...

Think a lot of my range wants to x this turn, but then when we x and he bets should we just call and hope he bets the river, or should we x/r and look super strong whilst blocking all his worse hands that can call? So many questions... so many questions...

Was the last hand (#11) vs a reg? I kind of understand his turn line, but wtf is he doing calling river with what has to be one of his worst bluff catchers?

Never played 200z on stars, but it sounds/looks tough. Though based on the HH it seems like you hold your own fine
