You again?! Seriously???

Get to 100NL and go for SNE next year IMO, I heard there was a nice guy who did that, Danny something.

aggressive BRM is key and with micros so soft it should never take more than 10 days (with high volume) to get to 1.5k-2k$ if you are good unless you run like complete aids

bustoing the roll is annoying but hardly the end of the world
So if I extropolate, you should be able to make $54,750-$73,000 a year playing below nl50 (not including rakeback I assume?). Sounds like bull**** to me. It's 2014, not 2006.

Some Italian guy achieved SNE playing 50NL and took 4 months break while doing it.

SID has a good point about the staking thing, if you could get a stake for 50z and keep all bonuses that'd been really helpful

ik you've got your $4200 bonus coming up or w/e tho so can just use that to shot 100z but something to consider for the future defo

SNE at 100z is like 3.4m hands, plus us UK lot are going to get less rakeback so would definitely advise against ever doing that

Haha really? Italians man, they've got a much better work ethic than us Scots!

Nah man it's just not for me. For example I've made $2600 this month at 50nl (r/b not included), if I had to give up $1300 of that I'd want to cry! Plus I've cashed out £6000 (r/b included) in the last 3 months. I'm not even close to busto, I have just worked hard to clear my debts. Now that it's done I can go forth and crush!

That's mightily impressive. I did a 10k day last week and it was a struggle. 10k a day for 8 months would make me hate poker for life.

Pfft could do it in half a year if it's only 3.4m...

Had a wee health scare over the last couple of days. Good news is it's nothing serious, bad news is that I gotta take antibiotics for 2 weeks, but I'm off on holiday next week, no drinks for me

Hey buddy, glad you like the thread! I haven't had any coaches/read books (anyone who could recommend those please feel free to suggest some), but I have a subscription to RunItOnce, and the Zoom videos there from James Hudson, Lucas Greenwood & Felipe Belivianovsky (sp?) are great, definitely worth $10 a month. Gl!

Tried to play 12-16 tbls stacked instead of regular 4xtiled Zoom, I played well enough, 1 or 2 bad bluffs but ultimately ran really badly. I can get more hands in/hr doing it like this so may switch to it in the future, but I'll see as I know fine well the decent regs lick their chops when I'm at their tables lol.

Will do a proper update tomorrow (be warned it'll be grim) and then will be off on holiday, recharge the old batteries and hopefully come back to finish strongly this year!

Alright troops, there's been a lack of updates lately because I've been playing pretty meh and running like aids... worse than aids... I aspire to run like aids it's been that bad. Monthly graph...

I started to rostuck a little a couple of days ago but the RNG gods put paid to that. Having said that yesterday I did get KK in vs AA and win twice, somehow. I'm not moaning or complaining, as I know nobody gives a fk about bad beats etc! Sounds a bit silly but even though it's been a real grind lately I thoroughly enjoyed this month, my passion for the game is still going strong after 6 months playing full time. Highest point was about 2.6k, with rakeback (which came in in drips and drabs to stop me going busto) it's still not a bad month, more than I'd make working the fries dept at McD's. I racked up a whopping 34k vpps this month, pretty good haul. 17.6k vpps away from a $2800 bonus, and I'll get a $1600 one around the same time, that'll pay off the rest of my debts and I'm going to put away some $ so if I d/s again I am sorted.

Goals for October are to make $1k profit (confidence still a bit shaky and I'm away for 5 days as of today) and to play some 100nl after my bonuses come in.

Have a great October everyone, I'll catch up when I get back from Monaco in a few days

Quick story from a few days ago. Can't remember the hand exactly but I flopped top set and villain's underpair hit runner runner straight flush. I calmly sat out all tables, closed the laptop, unplugged the mouse and lasso-ing it above my head proceeded to smash it off of every wall in the house. It was like 4am on Monday morning, felt good!
