Nice one!
In for more gazzybeer123 wet t shirt stories.
Not looking forward to playing live in London again though haha. Nitty 1/3 games are not the one.
Gonna have to drench yourself in beer at the start of every session now to try to keep that run going.
Make it cider and you got a deal. The drink of the Gods.

Just continuing to grind away and hopefully I'll manage to get my foot in the door again at 200z eventually. I definitely can beat it for a couple of biggies. Got a game of 11s tomorrow, beyond buzzing for it!!
Strong day today, played pretty well apart from a couple of spewy points throughout. Still running very well overall, which is really nice. Had a tough last few months of the year in 2017, so I think it's well deserved

Aight troops, that'll do. Was buzzing all week for a game of football today. Got to play for a higher quality team, and had 2x60 minute games (still 11 a sides and in a league, just 2 games today due to a fixture pile up). They put me at centre half and I breezed it, but I was chatting back to the gaffer a bit coz he's a clown and I'm sorry but nobody in that team knows football better than me, so I doubt I'll get invited back. 1-0 down against 10 men and you wanna leave 1 up top for corners? Ye m8.
As a sidenote, I ****ing hate playing football in London. When you play in Scotland it's all about getting stuck in and remembering the **** that kicked you back in 2006 so you're gonna do him today etc. In London when the manager reads out the team they actually ****ing applaud each player. Then at the end our captain shouts "Three cheers for Old Westonians, hip hip...." and everyone (not me included) goes "HOORAAAAY". And then the other team do the same for us. Bunch of absolute ****ing gimps man. Also as someone who has a bit of coaching experience, blindly spouting football clichés actually makes my blood boil, and by **** do they love to do it here. "Pass and move lads, keep it on the deck and pass and move!" "We've got to want it more." "If you get the ball 30 yards from goal, just have a go!" Actually **** off. Tempted to move back to Scotland for a month to play some real fitba'.
No updates coz I haven't been playing much and when I have I've been doing it off. Heading to Scotland this morning for 2 days, then off to Manchester Cup with the youth team I do coaching with for a few days. Back to London on Monday. Wee break will do me good.
Sitting around killing time before leaving for the airport just now and I was looking at the BBC website for some games to go watch next week (I love watching random Watford, Brentford etc games). Noticed that Barca play Roma on Wednesday night in the Champions League. Googled flights out of curiosity. Googled match ticket price out of curiosity.
Off to Barcelona on my own for 12 hours on Wednesday night now haha.
We have found a house in Vegas that we really like, we've got 3.5 outta 4 bedrooms filled. One bed left, sharing with a good mate of mine, price is $725 for the entire month of June. Need to get it filled ASAP, so please PM myself AND 2p2 user Bilesy, as I'll be a bit busy throughout the next few days.
House is great, location is good, got a pool etc etc!
Absolutely buzzing for this weekend, even if it is a 7 hour bus journey from the north of Scotland to get there. I thoroughly miss football coaching, something I need to get back involved in properly in London.
Time for an update. Thoroughly enjoyed the trip to Manchester, although we didn't finish as well as we would've liked in the football. There were two very polarised moments that happened on the trip. First one, at the end of the first day, in our 4th game, we needed to win to have any chance of qualifying from the group. 0-0 with 3 minutes to go, there's a tiny kid on our team we'll call O, really shy young lad off the park, but gets wired in with absolutely no fear when he's playing. It's genuinely incredible considering the size of him. Anyway, he picks the ball up 25 yards from goal, skips away from his man and absolutely pings one right into the top bin to win the game. He got absolutely mobbed by everyone. I haven't celebrated a goal like that since...
Spoiler:
Second moment, we're in the 3rd place playoff and there's a young guy on our team called M who has bags of ability but absolutely no self belief. He wasn't having the best of tournaments so his game time was limited up until this point. Put him on at half time with the instruction of giving us some composure in midfield, and he did genuinely fantastic, kept the ball, sprayed passes around, broke up the play etc etc. We're 1-0 up with 2 minutes to go and he played a square pass that he underhit and the other team ran up the park and scored. Such a shame as you could tell in that 30 minutes he was really growing in confidence. Poor kid was devastated when we eventually lost on penalties. Saw a little bit of myself in him, was such a shame. The highs and lows of youth football coaching summed up in those two moments.
Anyway!
March...
Really happy with how I played. My 100z results were excellent (+3.6k) and there was literally nothing else I could've done at 200z (-1.5k), was purely just a variance thing. I'll continue to play 100z for now and try ease back into 200z when I can.
I've got a lot of trips coming up that I'm really looking forward to. Off to Barcelona tomorrow for literally 12 hours to watch Barca vs Roma in the CL Quarter Final, and then back to Scotland this weekend for a family event. First time me and my 4 siblings will have been in the same house for about a year.
Flight is booked to go back to LA at the start of May, and the Vegas house is booked for all of June. Gonna grind like **** in May and enjoy life in Vegas in June.
Watched OPs Twitch stream and it was actually pretty informational. I'd just assumed it's be OP spewing abuse at fun players lol. Nice month Gazzy, keep it up!

Rant over
Preaching to the converted about the football mate. Grew up in Fife/Lothians playing Saturdays and Pub league on a Sunday. Brutal at times and now I'm down south it's nowhere near the same. You get booked for tackles that you'd be applauded for back home.
