Haha it would mean you're betting against Jesus! While motivation is this high however there's no need for prop bets. Ask me again in a month or two!

So it's 9am on 22nd Jan atm. I went into Commerce at 11pm on 20th Jan and played for 20 hours. Was hands down the most enjoyable session I've ever had in my life. Just an absolute blast all day. Ironically the game I first joined was total garbage, full of moody regs and nitty recs. Got moved to another table at about 4am. I was down $3k and then ran AK into KK and was down $4500. Said **** it I was having cheat day and ordered extreme amounts of food. Ironically before it arrived I rostuckod $3500 of the losses. I got my KK in vs AK vs a London reg and if I lost that I was literally done for a couple of days. Managed to hold though! I then played a great hand. There was an eastern European rec at the table, a jolly old fella who calls everyone a "bloody bastard!" for fun. I started calling him a "****in arsehole" for fun too. Anyway he limps UTG 6 handed. Czech reg makes it 60 from btn. I peel Husker's sweepstake selection from the BB. Flop comes down 925r. Ping. Checked to the Czech and he bets 100 into 185. I call and the rec makes it 400. Czech calls, and I call. As I'm thinking to myself "this spot couldn't get any dreamier" the dealer burns and turns a 5 to give me quads. Rec jams 600, the Czech guy flats and he has like 500 left so I'm just like whatever all in. He rage sigh calls and I flip them over and scoop it all.
I then proceed to blast it off to the older half of a pair of London reg brothers. He made extreme hero call vs my flop xc, turn xr and river jam w A8 on 8453K. I had A7s, flatted his CO open from SB to keep "bloody bastard" in the pot. He was bantering with me that I wasn't folding to his 3bets (in my defence we were super deep, I was IP a lot and I was getting solid hands to call). One time I open and he 3bets and I fold, he just stood up and shouted "I'M THE KING OF THE WORLD!" into a half empty Commerce. Was most humorous.
The younger brother joins the game, and it's very good now. Lots of action, and we even get a round of 20 straddles on. At one point we even got a couple of 40s thrown in (not me though I'm dumb but I'm not that dumb). Something happened yesterday that the whole table laughed at but it sent me into inexplicable fits of laughter. So it's one of the 5/10/20/40 hands and this rec who was amazing fun to play with limps 40. Another guy makes it 200. Folds to rec. He says he really wants to play the hand and asks if he calls can they just check it down. Other guy says no coz he obviously has strong hand. Rec sighs and turns his hand face up, shows 108cc. Dealer is like er do you fold. Silence. He then says "**** it" and turns his hand face down and calls the raise. I don't know why, maybe it was because he turned his hand face down again, but I was absolutely ending myself. Board came out AK3 and he just open mucked hahahaha. I'm actually pissing myself at the thought of it just now.
A few hours go by and I'm in profit for the day. My mate Gun joins the table, super nice guy and solid poker player. Get into a spot vs him. He opens in MP, I 3bet AQhh. He flats. Flop comes down KJThxx bzzzzzzzzzzzt. I cbet flop and 8 turn (can't remember sizing). River 7x I look at his stack and miscalculate. Pot is 1k and I put him in for what I thought was 1.3k. He had 1.7 tho. He takes like 4 mins and sigh calls it off. I won't say what he had, but we talked about it after and it's a very interesting spot. Really cool to see how other people think about poker and their strategy to analysing things.
Can't remember many other interesting hands. I made a few extreme folds. Couple of sets mucked in big pots with turned flushes etc. I was watching American Football with an older guy who was explaining it all to me, I'm a complete football newb. I had a few bottles of cider along the way and eventually gg'd at approx 8pm. Devastation as I racked up - my stacks were all 1 chip short. Went from thinking I was up $3500 to being up around 3k, extreme tilt!
I'm up just over $11k for the trip, a nice $23,000 upswing! Today I would quite like to not lose 5k in the first few hours, as that has been the norm lately
Also started the running bet today! 90 miles in 28 days, 85.98 to go
Edit - actually, can someone devise me a very very brief, basic, rough nutrition plan that will take into consideration the fact that I'll be running 3 or 4 miles a day. I could Google it but I think it'd be good to see what people say. Roughly 2500 cals a day.
