I have been planning it for a while. I think it'll be a great experience. Will hit SanFran, San Diego, Vegas (obv) etc while I'm out there. It's gonna be a total adventure!

Fiiiiiiiiiiiiinally seeing some nice online results after a combination of absolutely brutal stretch for a few months/kidding myself that I could beat the bots on Party and have 50% rb on top. I'm fully back on Stars just now and wish I hadn't come back from Vegas and tried to do the Diamond Club grind.

Spoiler:
Still fkn under EV tho

Flicked in some 200z today, ran suuuuuuuper well. As the BR grows and the confidence comes back I'll hopefully play a ton before I go to LA next week.

Expected JJ. Did not expect this.

Also got a tip last night that there was a big whale playing in The Hippodrome (I normally play at The Vic when I play live). I was told he plays 1/2 deepstack (no cap) and buys in for 15k and refuses to play higher. I went there last night at about 10pm, and was playing the 1/2 deepstack game and it was boring as ****, nobody making conversation, nobody straddling, I gave up and just put my headphones in and watched some stuff on Netflix. 10 mins later I look up and there's this Asian dude sitting down with 16k+. Insta perked up and started chatting away to the table. Eventually the shorty to my right busts and the whale snap locks the seat up. HNNNNNNNG. So the game develops into 1/2/5/10 and on his first 10 straddle I jokingly pretend to put the triple straddle on to 20. From that moment on he absolutely loved me. Chatted away all night, agreed to come and "wait for me" again tomorrow night (tonight). Was absolutely brilliant, and I can't ****ing wait to play again this evening.

                  Couple of fun live hands...

Whale's 10, I open 68ss (2.8k deep) to 40 UTG, fish to my left calls, whale calls. Flop 678ddx and whale leads 60 into 125. I debate and find my balls and pop it up to 225. They both call. Sitting there absolutely begging any higher powers out there that were listening to give me a ****ing 6 or 8 OTT. Next best thing, 3h. Whale donks again for 550. I know I'm ahead but I don't love it, have to jam. Guy to my left eventually rage calls, and this whale (who LOVES To gamble) takes about 2 mins and folds. I ask the other guy to RIT, he shows me 1010. First river is a 5 and the whale quite literally smashes the table with his fist. I hold twice and win. Later the whale tells me he never runs it twice. That woulda been painful if he called.

One more fun one. Open to 35, 2 calls, whale folds so I just flat my 99 in sb. 4 ways to flop, A69dhs. x thru. I lead 2s turn. One fish calls. I bet like 70% pot on spade brick river, allowing me to fold vs jam. Fish snap calls and I say "set of 9s" and turn them over. Fish turns over 64hh and half way thru turning it over goes "OH NO!" we're all like wtf and he goes "I THOUGHT I HAD SPADES NOOOOOO!" Epic.

Can't wait to do this **** every day in LA.
