* Make $2k profit (I'll be away for a week so 2k seems reasonable).
* Have $1500 in my account come 1st September (3 months in a row I've started the month underrolled and it means that a % of profit is eaten up getting back to $1500)
* Do a bit more studying (I did none at all in July, poor show)
* Continue to get in shape for the next 3 weeks until my holiday (will expand on my fitness history a bit later)
* Take a 5BI shot at 100nl and not win 4bi's this time and pussy out

Soooooo it's that time of the month. Quoting my last post in July for the graph and the goals I set myself for August that I didn't really follow. August's graph...

Things were going great guns til I managed to drop $1700 in the space of 2 days. I tried and tried to grind it back but lady luck hasn't been on my side this month. Over the past few days I've dabbled in PLO and had insane luck, I estimate I've made $900 minimum in PLO. All in all not too bad a month when you combine the two. The main thing I am happy with is that when September starts I'm not underrolled. I have $1450 in my account, whereas at the start of most months I'm under the $1500 mark by a few hundred. I'll still withdraw aggressively this month, with the aim of looking at moving up to 100nl when I get my $2800 VPP bonus in October. Goals for September are as follows...

* Make $3k
* Keep paying off my ****, and take a couple of driving lessons.

Funky start to the month. I kept flopping top pair in 3bet pots and being forced to x/f river as the board comes runner runner straight/flush. Despite some frustrating runouts I really enjoyed playing today. The last few days have been a bit stale but I created a feelgood atmosphere today and it made it much more enjoyable, really enjoyed it today even with a small loss. I woke up late today, and was just not feeling it at all. Took a break after 250 hands and told myself I'd just get back to even for the day and stop. Got back to even pretty quickly and was a bit more motivated so ground it out for a while. Just after that 1400 hand upswing I stopped and played HU vs Birday at 25nl. Lost about $7/$8 in total but it's clear to see my HU game is pretty poor, especially vs a thinking player. Really enjoyed it tho, and considering after 200 hands today had the potential to be a 'GazzyB special' day (-30bi etc), I'm happy with that. Some hands...

...just spoke to Birday, he was -$20 for the session, and I was -$8. Safe to say that rake won. That's crazy.

Woke up late again today and was again just not feeling it. I'm working hard on my health and fitness just now and I'm fkn exhausted as a result. Hell of a day tho despite the lack of volume. I wish I had the focus to have kept going, but still can't complain. After cashing out yesterday morning (gotta pay dat rent) and a great session today I'm sitting at $1190, but only 16k fpps. I went swimming for a bit today so hopefully tomorrow I'm able to put in a solid 5k+ hands. My winrate today was 53/100, that's definitely sustainable I feel for the rest of the month, can maybe hit 60 if I play my A game. Some hands...

Villain 3bets a ton from sb and overall fold to 4bet is pretty high. I'd rather flat and let him catch top pair with his 10Qo etc than have him just fold. Plus you gotta balance dem ranges
