Thanks Bobo, I wasn't being serious when I asked for a thread title change but let's leave it like this for now. Will set a challenge after this promo thing for when it can be changed back to what it was and not before.

I got ****ing molested today, thankfully it was only at 20nl but still absolutely rubbish. Woke up and was so motivated to succeed but it was just not my day

Month...

Rakeback (so far, might manage more than £1k after today's efforts)

Plus around £350 in rakeraces. Looking at approx £2600 total for September. Very much needed after that downswing, and gives me a head start as mentioned on where I need to be. Breakdown by stake...

Also managed to break into the top 6 with a nice gap on 7th in the CPT challenge...

Goals for October are to make this CPT package whilst still playing 50nl and 100nl where I can, and then to decide whether or not to play on Stars from 16th Oct onwards. Not setting monetary goals, but another month like this one and I'll be a happy chappy!

Hope everyone has a brilliant time at the EPT. I can get a flight from Glasgow - Malta for like £50, if I win the package I might just go from Glasgow to Malta on 20th Oct, love life at the EPT, **** off to the Dominican Republic for the CPT, then back to Scotland around 10th November a completely broken man.

Not bad for the fries guy at KFC...

Hahahahahahaha no.

Hellooooooo October! 7600 hands of 20nl, the rest at 50. Looking for hands just now but it's all boring stuff.

Buzzing!

Not sure breadmaker, I'd say I'm probably above (despite all the EV moaning).

https://gyazo.com/4a8af8fc94fcc8e610f4028e23dc5991 - feel guilty for not playing at all today now. Top 6 win, I'm well clear of 7th now with 2 weeks to go yay.

Have a great weekend everyone

Month so far. I didn't play any poker for 2 whole days and only managed around 6k hands today. Leaderboard hasn't updated but I think I'll still be in top 6 comfortably. Only ten days left, I'm getting sick of grinding and grinding and grinding, but it will be worth it when it's over I suppose!

Had a very heavy weekend and I'm feeling utterly minging just now. I spent around 3 hours with my face in the toilet early Saturday morning. Never again!

Gaz, you should consider joining forces with grinder4all in his Grinding cheeseburger stakes to pay rent + food in Thailand.

You might be able to grind a meal up between the two of you.

So OP is still playing 20nl you would have thought by now he would have either moved up to real stakes or gotten a real job

No poker today, been helping my older brother clear out his flat for selling it. On the plus side I now have a new pool cue, an N64 and a whiteboard.

The top 6 qualify, top 7 were the only ones who realistically still had a chance and the dude in 5th place last night has apparently unfortunately gone busto, so looking good for it!

Good opportunity to stake 5th place yourself and get him to sell the package? Im sure youd get a sweet % in that situation.

Solid idea BM but the package is unfortunately not transferrable/exchangeable/sellable! Plus I wouldn't like to stake a friend of a friend as I wouldn't wanna get myself scammed by an unknown as I'm the kinda guy that'd spend £400 on flights to Belarus to **** his mum up over a £50 debt.

I've been suuuuper busy with IRL stuff since returning to Scotland, not bad stuff, but busy stuff. Volume has sucked and I realised today that I was lacking motivation not because I'm playing so many hands, but I'm grinding 20nl (through choice) and I don't rly care about 20nl all that much. Obviously got great results so far 9 tabling speed to go with the volume, but 50 and above are where it's at for motivation. I played about 3700 hands at 20, started to tilt after a couple of coolers and then put in a session tonight at 50. Felt like I played well, particularly at 50. Will post a couple of hands...
