What poppin my gentliest of gents? The grind has been, well, a grind. I have been registering the $10 and under touneys with the exception of a $15 deepstack turbo that i tend to do very well in.

I play in ruffly $75-$100 of tournaments a day with my $400 bankroll and have managed to just barely turn a profit. I know this is not proper bankroll management but there arent many tounraments for less and if i lose this roll its not the biggest deal in the world im set for bills for the next couple months.

That being said i have had several good spots and final tables but ended up in cooler spots or just getting drawn on for 6th-8th place finishes. These finishes have kept me above water but could easily have been my breakout tournies. Thus far im sitting at about $437 so just getting by as i wait to finally bink something. Its pretty ruff because at the lower stakes its hard to get in volume.

Ive been playing a HU SNG $10 on the side as i grind tournies and that has certainly helped my roll.I dnt have the exact numbers right now its on my other computer which i don't have access to but ive won something like 25 out of 36 games played in the SNG. Thats all for now hopefully soon i'll be able to tell you guys about some big score but as of yet its just been breaking even (which im not unhappy about).

if you play 50 games of 1.5$ (18/45man) a day you also get a 75$ Buy In a day with uber tight BRM management (266 BI) But with 20% ROI you would make 15$ a day,so yeah...

you should start out w 7$ SNGs (6/9/18/45), at least 6 tables and at least 10% ROI to make anything near a western european minwage.

7$ SNG = 70cent per game = 10 games per hour = 7$ wage.

Truth is....ok you were right, **** you. Nah but on the real last time i posted on here i was playing on a $400 roll trying my hand at $10 tournaments. I had already accomplished the original goal of squeezing out enough money in poker to let me glide through until my next sem of school when i'd start receiving my G.I Bill (Veteran Stuff) again.

Then i got an opportunity from a friend who works in the oil fields in Texas who wanted to stake me in the $162 100k on iggy. So of course i took it! But instead of getting the money and transferring it onto iggy i decided not to pay all the fees and bull **** to get it on there and just used $162 from my $400 roll.

At the point i was getting very burnt out and tired of poker already so i wasn't worried about busting the roll, again the initial goal was accomplished. So i decided to just make a tourney day of it and play the 100k amongst other higher buy in tourneys i wouldn't normally play in and take a one day shot at tournaments.

Well the day didn't go as planed and i was left with nothin in my account. It was at this time another huge change in my life occurred and is the biggest reason i stopped playing poker and doing really anything at all. I was just sitting in my room messing around on the computer when out of the blue my heart started pounding out of my chest.

I got very nauseous and light headed like i was going to puke or pass out. I thought at first it might be a real bad case of food poisoning but then the stomach pain went away and my heart reached 150 BpM just laying in bed. It was at this point i went to the ER.

Well to my surprise and at the time didn't make sense to me there was nothing wrong with me physically. I was in good health on all fronts. They did multiple tests, xrays, MRI, blood test, piss test the works and nothing. So i was sent home with a sedative shot to calm my racing heart (which was amazing btw glad i don't have access to more of that).

Then the following couple of weeks were some of the worste and scariest weeks of my life. Turns out for no apparent reason i've began have severe anxiety and panic attacks. I know what you are thinking wtf is that? Is that a real thing? Stop being such a *****. Trust me i was telling myself the same thing.

But its not like you'd imagine you aren't just anxoius and stressed. When you have a panic acttack your body goes into fight or flight mode and releases chemicals that make your muscles tense up(in real life or death scenerious to take more impact). So this happens and then my heart starts pounding a milloin miles an hour. I feel almost 3rd person and detached from my body and uncordinated. My throat feels like its swelling up and i can't breathe and like my tongue is falling back into my throat.

It's really crazy i mean here i am a Marine Corps Infantry Vet, been through the ****tiest scenarios you can think of and never had a problem and now out of the blue this **** starts happening and thats really nothing i can do about it but learn to cope and if i want to be a zombie take some pills.

Everything gives me severe anxiety all of a sudde. Just getting in a car and going somewhere that isn't home freaks me the **** out. Watching movies with high emotions send me into panic attacks. You get the point. So thats been my life for a while and its taken me ALONG time to finally get to the point where i feel somewhat normal and functional. Like i can actually continue on living (which i wasn't sure would be the case for a while there) and have an enjoyable and satisfactory life.

So that leads me to now. The school semester is upon us and im getting ready for that but in the mean time ive gotten the itch to get back on the tables. I managed to scrape up $1000 as a bankroll and will be playing 50NL and tournaments/HU SNGs on the side.

I don't have any plans as to the volume i want to play just whatever i feel like and am comfortable with. I know that may not seem to exciting but its whats goin down! I'm trying to rid my life of unnecessary stress whilst still doing the things i enjoy(which sometimes are stressfull lol).

Im sorry its been so long and i havn't been posting, i hope you all can understand! I promise you i had good reason and anyone out there who has experience with anxiety and panic disorder will agree 100% im sure.

Before i leave I'd also like to say if there is anyone out there who is suffering from this for the first time or just has any questions please feel free to ask. The first couple months are hell and It would be amazing to be able to help someone get through that quicker.

Played my first session of 50nl yesterday and it was a wild one. Was down around $230 but managed to pull it back to down just one buy in. I also played 3 $25 HU SNGs and managed to win 3 of 4 which put us at just under break even down like $4 haha

So not the best start but certainly not the worst. It has been awhile since ive played 50nl i was playing 25nl prior and struggled. I only managed a 3.5bb/100 after about 20k hands when we stopped. 50nl seems a little more predictable than 25nl.

The players at 50nl may be slightly better but it doesn't feel like bingo quite as much as 25nl did or at least not as frequently. Putting someone on a range in 25nl is like eating cereal without milk, pretty much useless.

Played a short session today before i went and played some volleyball and managed to make $116 so it was nice to find myself in the profit so early on I always prefer to hit the upside of variance first and the down side later, i find it easier to take mentally.

I really wish ignition would allow you to play more tables at reg speed. I'd love to get more volume in but i just don't have the time and really don't wanna play zone. Ive been incorporating 1/3 size bets on flops in 3-bet pots, balancing nutted hands with blank hands (selective textures of course) and am pleasantly surprised at how easlily people are giving up. I think its helping my red line alot, though it is a very very short sample.

Anyhow thats all for now i gotta get to bed early my brother graduates tomorrow at 730am. Wtf kinda **** is that, why so damn early? He get his masters in computer science and is headed over to Adobe in the summer. Fun stuff! Also my sister is getting home from Hong Kong where she has been for the last 18 months on May 5th! Then my older brother gets married in July! Lots of exciting stuff coming in the next few months so im pretty excited.

whats up man? long time no talk. sorry for my absence. i went busto and didnt have work for over a month so I had no money to play. now im pretty much working on getting a car and getting my license back.

Sorry to hear about your sudden anxiety and panic attacks. That is never a fun thing to go through. My buddy used to go through those often and they are very very scary. I used to get anxiety attacks after I got my 2nd DUI. Pretty knowing that I ****ed my life over for a good few years. I hope everything is going well with you now though. I will have to get back on twitch and watch you smash some tables.

I got a new goal now though for poker. I have quit smoking for almost 6 weeks now and I am on the hunt for a new job. But as soon as I get my car and license and nice full time job that pays more and offers overtime I will be playing part time at local casinos around here to try to build a bankroll. Obviously the end goal would be to have a large enough bankroll and good enough skill to make a regular living off of poker. But I have also added something else on to that goal and that is to live full time in an RV and travel the U.S.A. while playing poker as my income. I just think that would be so awesome. I would be able to camp and fish during the day on some weekdays and play at through the night and all day on the weekends. I know this is a large goal but something I have always wanted to do. But enough about that ****.

Ya panic attacks are the ****in nut low man. But ive come a long way since it first started and feel like im beggining to normalize. Haven't been able to grind in the last couple of days because i was driving from Idaho to Utah for my lil bros graduation and then from there to California for my grandma's funeral. 30ish hours of driving in the last 4.5 days but finally back at my parents because my sister comes home from Honk Kong on Friday!

I played ruffly 400 games several months back of $25 HU SNGs and won at either 55% or 58% can't remember. Not at home with PC so cant' check. I honestly feel like cash is tougher than HU SNGs. Have you played much HU SNGs on Iggy?

Not for a long time. You're probably experiencing positive variance though.

That's certainly possible. But one advantage of HU format is that regs don't generally sit each other so as long as you sit your own lobby you're likely to get a weaker player.

So for some dumb reason my card catcher missed like+ $60 worth of hands so my graph is fuked now which is super annoying. I guess i'll go back later and use the converter to try and get the ones it missed back if i can figure it out.

Anyhow played another decent size session tonight. Just under 700 hands. +$175. So +$100 on the day. Pretty happy with that. Was getting pretty ruff mid way through the sesh down about 3 buyins and then made a pretty sweet comeback and hit some uptick in variance!

150 bpm, holy ****. I had a pulse at 90-100 lately after a heavy drinkout and I was ****ed thinking what's wrong with my body. Can't imagine how 150 must make you feel.

Playing high-bi high variance games is an absolute no go for your situation I have to say. Seems like you can't multi table heavily but if you could I'd go for the supersafe situation of cutting your BRM in 2-4 so that you can't experience any bad downswings that might affect your health.

Yeah 150 did not feel fun at all. Thought i was going to pass out or puke, not enough oxygen to the brain. But since ive learned it is just panic attacks and im healthy i don't let it get that bad. Focusing on breathing keeps the heart rate down alot because you aren't hyperventilating.

What do you mean cutting BRM in 2-4? As far as health goes i'm not longer really playing to pay the rent(though it would be nice of course). Im just playing to get better. I currently have 24 BI of cash, 48 of HU SNG, and won't play much above $10 mtts so im pretty comfortable with that.

During the grind before my break i binked a tourney and made a little from cash that allowed me to pay the rent until school started which was the whole point.
