From 1st of September I decided to try my luck and go pro playing 200k for the next 2 months in a georgian site NL8,NL20. I never was a winning player(all my profits are from rakeback mostly) but last month It went relatively well so I thought I could give it a shot.
It was an absolute disaster. I ended it in 3 days and 7k hands.
I felt like god was telling me: "DUDE! Get serious, this game is not for you!" I have played almost half a million hands and this was the most devastating downswing I have ever had. It totally ****ed my confidence. I believe the reason was that the loss was big and happened very quickly and because I really believed I could do it this time. It was the first time I withdrew all my bankroll, uninstalled everything related to poker and decided I will end it once and for all.
Nevermind, after a week and a lot of thinking I decided to start again but this time like a hobby However, I want to start playing again, but with a totally different mindset. Here are my goals:
PLAY AT LEAST 15K MORE UNTIL THE END OF SEPTEMBER
PLAY 4TABLE UNTIL I FIX MY STATS AND INCREASE MY WINRATE
STUDY FOR 1 HOUR EVERY DAY
POST IN THIS THREAD AT LEAST 5 HANDS EACH DAY
RATE MY MENTAL LEAKS AFTER EACH SESSION (CONCENTRATION, RESULT ORIENTATION, TILT ETC)
REACH 40 BI FOR NL20
REACH A 7 bb/100 WINRATE IN NL10 IN 100K
Also, I want to review with you guys some hands from these last 7k to see how much I was responsible for this disaster.
The currency is in GEL so NL20 = NL8 and NL50 = NL20( IN EUROS!)
There will be an update soon with more detailed goals concerning stats etc

28/23 (Not any important info. WTSD 30(27) after this hand)
I bet the river because I thought I could represent the A easily and make him fold his pp. Is it a mistake? I had SD value here so I should I have checked?
Played lots of hands with him. I don't know if he is good player but he is very very loose and aggro and runs like a god(50 bb/100). This hand was from the last 500 I played. I was already losing like 14 BI and I had this guy raising all my cbets so my nerves were breaking down. Nevertheless, it's a fold isn't it? I tend to overestimate straight draws with 1 overcard or 1 pair. I always think I have more equity than I have. Any tips?

EDIT: I always think I have more equity than I have because I count my overcards like outs too. In this spot how many outs should I count? 11 at most? I think he would never shove set+ here (am I wrong?) so his range would propably be something like : KK+(4-5 combos), KdQd, KdJd, KcJc, QdJd, QsJs, QcJc, AdTd, AhTh, Ad9d, Ac9c, Kd9d, Kc9c, Qd9d, Qc9c, Jd9d, Jc9c, Td9d, Ts9s, Jd8d, Js8s, Jc8c. I am not sure if he shoves TPTK so I just put the combos he has a backdoor flush too. I don't know how to calculate it exactly but with this range I have 45 % and I have 39% to call. Even if i reduce his range to: AdAh,AdAs,AhAs,AdAc,AhAc,QJs,J8s,T9s,KdJd,KhJh,KcJ c,AdTd,AhTh I have to call. The question is if I have to count sets or not and if it was a better line to x/call
EDIT 2: I forgot this note : btn( vs sb). called 3bet with T4s and didn't raise in 34T(2tone)

Same guy like hand 1(83/20 from 53 hands, ftcbet 15(13),14(7), aggr 37, wtsd 32). I bet turn because he seems to call a lot of cbets from his stats but I am not sure because most fishes get scared in A boards. Do you think is good to shoot 2 barrels here with MPTK?

I wouldn't 3 bet QJs as most villains calling range have us dominated, and when we do get action on these boards we usually have poor equity
I think I made a mistake editting my 3rd post and I wrote it twice. The villain called with T4s so I think he can call with much worse hands than QJs. Also, he seems to be a calling station

Just for the future, 3 betting OOP with easily dominated hands is not a profitable play. Against extremely loose villains it can be profitable but against decent regs at NL 20 and NL 50 it will lose you a lot of money.
I bluff 3bet JQs as a default from sb vs lp. Vs this particular villain's range and his small ft3bet it's not even a bluff I think. Generally, I don't like calling from sb because
1) I don't get good odds
2) I am in the worst position
I can hear opposite views though...
As for my challenge, I didn't managed to play yesterday (not even depositing again ) but I did an analysis of my last sessions and I really can't find many mistakes. I lost 4 or 5 BI at most in total due to mistakes so the rest 13-14 BI were lost propably because of variance.
I will play my first session today and I'll post results as well as rating on my performance both mentally and pokerwise.
Also, I want to pay attention on specific stats that need fixing :
Dear forum,
I think I will start to treat this like my poker journal based on the fact that nobody else writes on it :P
Ok, first of all I think I have to modify a little my longterm goals because I can't seem to keep up with the schedule I built.
First of all, although I played one session yesterday (unfortunately divided in 10 parts due to bad internet connection) I didn't find the time to post anything afterwards so I will propably do it today. I played 4 tables for half an hour but I got really bored and added two more for the rest 1 and a half hour. Also, I won't be able to play 1k a day with 4 tables, so I will propably do that because I won't reach my goal of playing 1k a day.
So:
2) PLAY 4TABLE FOR 30 MIN AND 6 MAX AFTER UNTIL I FIX MY STATS AND INCREASE MY WINRATE
4) POST ANY CONTROVERSIAL HANDS I WOULD LIKE TO ANALYSE WITH YOU
Also, I made a document where I will rate my mental game after each session based on 5 fields:
CONCENTRATION
RESULT ORIENTATION
INFLUENCED BY VARIANCE
MISTAKE TILT
REVENGE TILT
FEAR
AVERAGE
So for the first session:
CONSENTRATION -> 6 (due to connectivity problems+ little number of tables)
RESULT ORIENTATION -> 8 (I always check hm so I always fall into the trap of looking results)
INFLUENCED BY VARIANCE -> 8
MISTAKE TILT -> 7 (I kept thinking of some hands afterwards because I wasn't absolute sure if I played them well)
REVENGE TILT -> 9
FEAR -> 7 (can't blame myself after having the swing I had)
AVERAGE 7.5
1ST SESSION RESULTS
NL20
+3.37 GEL (700 H - 162 MIN)= BE
I am so happy I didn't lose any more money but I wanted to play at least 1k hands. It seems impossible playing 4 tables. Anyways, propably I will try to keep up with my challenge during the weekend.
Pokerwise I think I played relatively good. Let's see some hands:
