Hi all, had a topic b4 about moving to florida but things changed.

I went back to school because i didn't feel good about moving to florida even tough i had the money..

About me:

19yo kid wich plays poker for couple of years but started seriously taking on like 1,5-2 years ago

I play many 2/2 in the casino over here but only 1 to 2 tables every day , sometimes not even a full table so not much to grind here much live anymore, there are a couple of homegames but on .50/1 homegames its not relevant to travel so far with a price of 1,89 per liter in holland

There are some homegames with €22 , €55 , €110 fo's but its just not on a weekly base so not able to play alot of there.

I have a nice buffer since i created a good winning rate on 2/2 and also 5/5 but i just dont feel comfortable on 5/5 yet + there arent many tables running as i said before.

Now about the grind im going to try.

I dont have many online experience so ill be starting on 5nl with a 130$ bankroll wich is 26bi
I know im used to 200nl LIVE but im not comfortable with playing online and , I want to gain as much as experiance asap on the low stakes and grind it up myself to get more confident about my game and i wanna show that i actually can do it ( i hope )

Games i'll be playing is FR , maybe some 6max and zoom mixed in

GOALS-
- play 4 hours minimum a day ( i have kindoff part-time school so i have allot of tmie improving my game online
- Moving up in tables, will be starting on 4-8 tables ish.
- Posting daily updates
- Posting hands, try to review hands with people and discuss about it
- Get a 40bi minimum bankroll for 10nl ( nitty but i feel like doing it this way can take earlier shots)
- focus on improving game.

Thanks for reading and lets move up dem micro's!!

if people want to add me on skype just pm me or leave ur skype in here

First off, are you using a HUD? Provide stats on villains for more detailed answers.

H1: I don't think anyone is folding here. I've done it in the past but only to guys who are absolute ROCKS.
H2: Pretty much the same as H1, you are short handed so unless he is running like 9/2 then you're never folding.
H3: Normal flip, you win some you lose some. Some people win more than they lose and vice versa.
GL! Hope you run better!

Hand 2:

Something to think about is how tight someones UTG open range is. When you have AK, you dont have to auto 3 bet it, especially against a UTG open and its folded to you. When you get 4 bet from a UTG open, that ussually sucks and your up against QQ+, AK which your behind. (your play on H2 wasn't horrible, jus trying to give alternative ways to play).

For example say a rock UTG raises and its folded to you, you can just flat call and play post flop with position. In another example, If UTG opens and gets a caller or two, then this would be a good spot to squeeze and look to get stacks in pre or on the flop. If a loose UTG opens you can 3bet with a plan of 5bet shipping or calling his 4 bet and expect to be ahead a decent amount of time.

My results with AK improved when I stopped auto 3-betting tight UTG opens so maybe it can help you too. Moral of the story, just know why you are going to 3-bet someone and how you will react instead of just doing it. (I moved up from 4NL and play 10NL so we likely play the same types of villains).

It sounds entirely possible that u cant actually beat the micros online yet, u shouldn't be 10 tabling till u know ur making profit really.

+1. Nobody likes it, but it's really best to start at the micro-micro limits to get a good grasp of online play.

You been watching grindcore vids or something? It's great you won the hand, but that's only going to work a very small percentage of the time. I would save the fancy play for when you get to 25NL+ where people actually understand what it means when you 4bet a flop like this. Straightforward fundamental poker is what will allow you to grow your BR right now. GL, play well!

Nah i watched some vids but not that one.
That kinda fancy plays indeed don't work that well

playing a session now +8$ over 90 hands.

Any toughts about this hand? the button has been stealing allot if everyone folds, then the sb raises and i decided to call. I think the sb is raising very wide here to.

Doubt you're going to show much of a profit if any at all flatting those 3bets with AJo. Much better off 4betting or just folding.
