We should make a support group, lol.

Keep your spirit up man, normal moving up struggles that everyone has at some point. Your winrate at 50NL is impressive, never forget how far you've come.

Thanks for the sub.
I'm on skype and in a couple groups but I don't use them. A lot if the groups you're getting false information. Only time you get anything good out of them is if you're in a group of winning players.

Trying to keep my spirits up but just under a lot of stress. I have bills to pay and mouths to feed, and losing is something that can't happen. Well if it does I'll have to go find a job..

Talked to my coach last night. He wants me to continue at 100nl and just play the solid game I played to get to where I am now. He said in looking at it differently and I shouldn't be. Well I thought I was but maybe not.

Going to set up an account with a new site as well and taking the day off. Coaches orders as he said I was on track for a 300 hour month. #Dedication.
Also set up a coaching session for Monday. Probably could use it.

Well going to enjoy my day off. Peace out ****ers.

So it's the end of my night, just polished off a pretty nice bottle of wine with my wife. I imagine poker noob would probably enjoy as well. It's been sitting on the shelf for a few years.

If you have one of these, I'd personally let it sit for another couple of years.

Had a pretty good day off though. Was nice enjoying the day with the family. Didn't do much as we don't really have the money to do anything, but we did end up driving around trying to find a spot to park our large ass camper for the summer while our house is being rented out. We did find a couple prospects, and I'm thinking one of them would work out perfectly.

Gonna hit the hay, maybe watch an episode of magicians (a pretty cool series my wife had suggested) then get some z's. Hitting the tables tomorrow. Will update tomorrow.

This week pretty much sucked. Running a bit under EV, didn't play the best, put in a lot of hours at the beginning of the week and think I was burning myself out.

Still playing at 100nl atm. Hoping this will turn around this next half of the month.

Total profit for the month.... $93.50 Ugh.

Pretty bummed about it as ive put in quite a bit of hours. So far this month ive made less than $1 an hour. I think putting in all the hours I did at the beginning of the month really just made things worse as even my coach was saying I was burning myself out. So this week I'm going to put in a little less volume each day to make sure that doesn't happen, and hopefully come out in the black.

I sure hope so AZ. I feel like I'm not getting any value from my decent hands, and folding more than I should be. But that's the way it is.

I think I have a coaching session tomorrow that I'm looking forward too. I'm hoping we can plug some leaks.

So it was a ****ty week overall. Probably had the sickest cooler I've ever had. Ended up getting a set of K's in vs a set of A's for 200 bigs is a rather reasonably large 4b pot.

iPoker - $1 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

SB: 106.08 BB (VPIP: 33.33, PFR: 20.00, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 46)
BB: 36.95 BB (VPIP: 66.67, PFR: 0.00, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 6)
UTG: 198.92 BB (VPIP: 34.74, PFR: 17.89, 3Bet Preflop: 5.88, Hands: 97)
Hero (MP): 368.3 BB
CO: 102.58 BB (VPIP: 26.92, PFR: 19.23, 3Bet Preflop: 33.33, Hands: 27)
BTN: 116.16 BB (VPIP: 12.50, PFR: 6.25, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 18)

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has K K

UTG raises to 3 BB, Hero raises to 11 BB, fold, fold, fold, BB calls 10 BB, UTG raises to 40.5 BB, Hero calls 29.5 BB, BB calls 25.95 BB

Flop: (118.45 BB, 3 players) A 7 9
UTG checks, Hero bets 58.22 BB, UTG calls 58.22 BB

Turn: (234.89 BB, 3 players) K
UTG checks, Hero bets 117.44 BB, UTG calls 100.2 BB

River: (435.29 BB, 3 players) 2

Spoiler:
BB shows J A (One Pair, Aces)

Main Pot [111.35 BB]: (Pre 7%, Flop 2%, Turn 0%)

UTG shows A A (Three of a Kind, Aces)

Main Pot [111.35 BB]: (Pre 76%, Flop 98%, Turn 98%)
Side Pot#1 [323.94 BB]: (Pre 80%, Flop 99.9%, Turn 98%)

Hero shows K K (Three of a Kind, Kings)

Main Pot [111.35 BB]: (Pre 18%, Flop 0.1%, Turn 2%)
Side Pot#1 [323.94 BB]: (Pre 20%, Flop 0.1%, Turn 2%)

UTG wins 431.29 BB
Hero wins 17.24 BB

I'd Prefer to x the flop, but in game I was thinking maybe the A was a scare card for him. Looking back on it I think probably a 5b would narrow his range significantly and be able to fold to jam or any post flop action. I don't see any less than KK being in a huge 5b pot unless it's a whale.

Anyways, here's my piss poor results for the week.

Coach seems to think it's just variance and some bad play. Said that I need to break the connection with the money part and make correct decisions. Well as of 2 days ago I think I accepted the fact that I'm probably not going to make any money this month, and broke that connection. Since then I've been making excellent river plays in 3b pots. I think 3b pots are def one of my weaknesses. So this week I'm going to be working on that. Well I'm off to play some more.
GL everyone.

Well stable moved me back down to 50nl since I'm now in a ~20 BI downswing. Happens to me every once in a while. I think this is the 3rd ~20ish BI downswing in the last year. Hopefully will get things turned around and move back up.
