Probabbly wasn't talking about poker.

Would that mean he's back to the UK or in a small dirty Thai jail cell?

One other thing about this post, it's not uncommon for threads in this subforum to die when the OP goes through a rough patch with poker, life, etc. Heck, probably the majority of threads here are simply abandoned by OP without any sense of closure.

Many people are embarrassed when they don't meet the goals they've set for themselves and don't want report back about their 'failure.' It's human nature and silly for people to hate on OP for not giving them an update; unsubbing is as a punishment is ironic though as if/when he does finally does bump the thread (Which is what you want), you won't be able to see it.

Yes, and I suggest we all stop posting now here so that the next post is his.

Your comments are very reasonible. Fully agree.

"success"
yab, not really success, more the impression that he feels successfull. At least somehow the first period after transfering to spins his comments gave the impression that he considers him successful in spins (lot of comments about how bad people are at spins even at 15$ and so on)

"silly for people to hate OP for not giving update"
More then agree. It was my first ever comment to a dying post. I am not hating for dying, just like a slight dissapointment. Nevertheless not to wise to make my comments at all.

"unsubbed ironic"
lol...yab you win...did not really think about it while posting it )

Not updated in a fair bit - apologies! The reason for this is because at the end of January, my dad messaged me, offering to pay for me and the gf to go on holiday to India to visit him. He's got this massive place near the beach in Goa that he bought like 12 years ago. I've been there before, the gf never had. It's like a 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom, rooftop balcony, swimming pool full on luxury place. Other benefits are sky sports, great western food, a working aircon and hot water system...needless to say we snap accepted the offer and so we've spent most of February out in India on holiday. Didn't spend hardly anything as my dad pretty much covered all the big costs of flight, accommodation, meals etc.

The internet in India isn't so great though, especially not for spins where the disconnects will kill you (it's probably OK for playing lower stakes cash games since the disconnects are only for like 30 seconds max, but that's enough to lose half your stack in a spin and go). And it was a holiday, so I just basically chilled out and couldn't play much anyway. We're back in Thailand now so I'll be updating more regularly. I don't really see much point in updating if there's no big news concerning poker, but felt I pretty much had to say something to explain the gap.

Here's some pics from India, although I know this isn't really supposed to be a travel blog.

Club Cubana (one of the biggest nightclubs in Goa):

Relaxing on Anjuna beach:

Seeing some dolphins:

Nice view of one of the beaches at sunset:

Seeing some elephants:

Needless to say it was a really nice holiday. About 50% cheaper than Thailand too for everything. Back to the grind now though. Sorry about the lack of poker updates but I just wanted to update so everyone knows I'm still playing, not gone home or quit etc.

Hope all is going well. I see this got such a good response and interest as you did something most people are scared of. Tackling microstakes and living in minimal/low maintenance enviroment. Giving a big F U to regular society who do not have the courage to gamble on life in this way. exciting read for the most part!!
