Wassup 2+2

Trying to build a bankroll, starting with 2.50$ 180 Turbo sng's. Played a lot of these in the past but i'm a bit rusty since i did'nt play for some years.
Mixing in some MTT's when bankroll is a bit higher.
Tracking my progress in this thread.

5 Final tables in a set of 30 games today, but could only finish 1 off...
Flipping bad, have to work on that!

Had a few sessions with only min cashes, so dropped down a bit.
Just wondering if there are more 180 grinders here on 2+2?
I'm off for a weekend trip, leaving in a few hours, so speak to you guys after the weekend!

Had a few breakeven sessions, let's try to make another giraffe tonight!
Still a nice 23% ROI over almost 500 games.

Good luck mate. I used to grind these as my bread and butter a good few years ago now. I was toying with the idea of shaking off my rustiness and offering a bit of affordable coaching but to be honest I have no idea what these games are like nowadays.

Keep this thread updated I will be following. Feel free to post some interesting hands for review and I'll see if I can offer any advice. Would also be interesting to know what the top grinders are making in these in late 2017 but I cba to find out for myself, you definitely should figure out who the top earners are though! Don't be surprised if they are players you have (wrongly) marked as awful!

Thanks for the GL wishes, keep you updated.
I must say that those 2.5$ games are still soft at this moment.
Trying to build a bit of a roll and move up.

Not running great last few tournaments.
Did some review, but overall i played well.
I'm satisfied with the volume so far.

These hands you need to win with 4 left! 67% equity pre...
Since pay jumps are significant with 4 players left, that's where you make the difference in ROI.

Had a few disappointing sessions, but managed to get a win and a second place today + a few extra final tables. Hopefully we can take this run good with us to the next session.

Yes they don't fill up as fast as a few years ago, but i don't play that many tables (mostly 6-8). I focus on my game, espescially reshoving and calling ranges.
That is not possible when you play 20 tables. I you keep making good decisions you will win at the end in these games. I rather play less tables, make profit and move up asap.

For sure. There are so many exploitable spots in these games if you're paying attention.

I used to play these but could only play in the day (GMT) where one would get going once every 25-30 mins.

In the evenings however they'll get going once every 5-10 mins which is much better - they are way softer too.

Yes correct, they are not filling fast enough. I even track that!
Mostly when i play (CET evening hours), they fill up in 3 a 4 min.
During weekend day time the average is around 9 min which is to slow.
And during week days i'm not aware because i need to work myself.

Allright, first let's wrap up september and set some goals for Oktober.
After a month i can tell you guys that the 2.50$ 180'ers are still very easy to beat.
There are a lot of average/bad regs, so you can still build a bankroll on these games.

These are my goals for Oktober:

    [ ] Play 1000 2.50$ 180 SNG's
[ ] Review calling spots before or after every session.
    [ ] Try to reach 20% ROI

    Downswinging...
Looks like 1000 games is way to optimistic, caught in a downswing since beginning of October, playing less tables atm.
Doing a lot of review, trying to win flips!
