Hello fellow 2+2 members!

I have a history of creating threads for a challenge but it has always ended the same way, in me giving up for a number of different of reasons.

But poker has what I am searching for and it fits my current situation in life very good.
[1] It challenges me intellectually, it improves my thought processes and problem solving ability.
[2] It is possible to make money playing it at the same time.

Started a challenge 11 days ago.

What this thread is going to be about:
[1] Cashgame
[2] Starting at NL2
[3] 50 BI for every level
[4] Regular updates with graphs and hands

About me:
[1] 24 years old
[2] Living in Sweden
[3] Ex professional golfer
[4] Current golf trainer (Teaching Professional)

I wrote down a few goals for november:
[1] Play 30 000 hands
[2] Focus more when playing (remove outside distractions, social media, browsing the internet etc)
[3] Watch all 9 videos from "The NL2 Mastery Course" by Nathan Williams
[4] Read "Crushing The Micros" by Nathan Williams

All time stats:
Hands: 24 082
Table results: +$29.23
Bankroll: $129.23

Day 12 (November 9th)
Hands: 558
Results: +$4.37

Damn it is fun to play during friday-sunday.
So incredibly juicy tables.

Today was the "easiest" day since I started this challenge.
I do not want to sound cocky, arrogant or anything like that, but, didn´t have to make any hard decision today.
Lost one big pot due to stacking off preflop with KK v AQo.

Otherwise I stacked a lot of fish with good hands vs decent hands (and sometimes really weird bad hands).

I am aware of variance, I know that It cannot be like this everyday.
But, I sure feels good when you can collect easy money.

November goals:
*I need to remind myself while playing to keep my focus. Since I play with multiple screens I tend to use the other to browse the internet, twitter, forums, youtube, blogs and other. I can´t close the other screen either since I use that to have my lobby open for table selecting.
What I came up with is to start taking more notes on my opponents. Sure note taking maybe not be the most important thing to do in microstakes. But, it will keep my focus on the tables and help me from being bored so fast.

One thing I did good today:
[1] At the moment it is 01:43 am here in Sweden. Been away for the week on a education week with work, played all night when I got home. So now immediately when I started to feel tired I closed all the tables. To prevent me from continue playing a few more hours and then tilt becomes a problem.

All time stats:
Hands: 24 640
Table results: +$33.60
Bankroll (excluding RB): $133.60

You don't think 8bbb/100 is possible at 2nl?

Day 14 (November 10th)
Hands: 2229
Results: +$6.05

Today was definitively nothing special.
Got in the volume but didn´t get anything going.
It is nice to book a 3 BI profit when not being that happy with exploiting the best day of the week in terms of player pool.
I think my game has improved though, because I don´t get into as much tough spots now as I did the first few days.
Stay out of marginal spots in NL2 & NL5 is key.

Also I managed to not look on the results the entire day and had no idea of how I was doing when I ended the day. Obviously had a little clue, guessed about breakeven.

But it is just to continue to grind. Everyday. Always get a little better.

November goals:
[1] Play 30 000 hands [61.10%]
[2] Focus more when playing
[3] Watch all 9 videos from "The NL2 Mastery Course" [33.33%]
[4] Read "Crushing The Micros" [50.39%]

All time stats:
Hands: 26 869
Table results: +$39.65
Bankroll (excluding RB): $139.65

Day 15 (November 11th)
Hands: 2476
Results: +$2.09

So much emotions flowing through my body today, a mix of feelings that I didn´t get what I deserved today and also so damn tired.
Writing this post 2:51 am, in about 3.5 hours I am going to be in the car towards another week away with work. Atleast I am not going to drive, so can put 4 hours of sleeping in the car.

What did I do good today?
[1] Did not glance at my results when playing. Had no idea of how it was going. Definetly did not think I was in green figures when I ended. Positive surprise.
[2] Folded "big hands" where I probably was beat, either way it wasn´t worth fighting for.

What can I do better tomorrow?
[1] I did a few ugly calls at turn today that I regret. So stop being a calling station in a few situations.
[2] Put in a bit more study would not hurt.
[3] Get some god damn sleep also!

Bringing my laptop to the hotel, evening grinds upcoming monday --> friday.

Just gotta keep on grinding.

"Nobody cares, work harder"

All time stats:
Hands: 29 345
Table results: +$41.74
Bankroll (excluding RB): $141.74

Day 16 (November 12th)
Hands: 1224
Results: +$3.00

So freakin tired.
Did not get any sleep in the car.
Time is 9:42 pm here in Sweden when writing this, tried to play poker for about 1 hour now but I am just too tired. When you thinking of grinding through the tiredness but then reminding yourself that it is not a +EV decision.

So instead I am just closing down the tables and then playing poker again when there is 0% chance of tilt.

I don´t wanna rush things, there is no hurry for me.
As long as I am playing everyday I am fine with it. If it is a little less volume some day. Then so be it.

All time stats: 30 569
Table results: +$44.74
Bankroll (excluding RB): $144.74

No graph today. Played a bunch of hands late last night and did not export those hands to my laptop. Graphs tomorrow again!

Double and triple barrel vs weak ranges. Table select (i.e. avoid the tables full of Russians basically) Oh and run good : p

good luck op. sorry for the derail, i was just merely pointing out to the non believer that online poker is still crushable at stars micros. Is this sustainable? who knows, i have no plans to play another hand of 2nl ever again so who cares..
