I fell more than 25k hands short of my 75k hands volume goal for March-April and also have such a small winrate in those 48,450 hands largely from the 11 buy-in downswing from this weekend. I have decided to go one more month, 25k hands of A+ game in May and then moving up.

New goal! 20 buy-ins in 25k hands of tilt free poker. I'm going to run good and crush, let's do this!

Ran well the first 500 hands of May, not so great this morning vs tables full of recs. Played really well and got the money in good though and didn't tilt despite losing 3 or 4 big pots within about 50 hands where I was a pretty big favorite. So I've basically been shelved by life for a bit. I haven't been able to work out for about a week and concentrating at work is really tough, much less grinding for pennies. If anyone else has had head trauma or neck pain, tension headaches or migraines you know what I am talking about; the pain is debilitating and I would never wish it on anyone.

I have a straight cervical spine which hasn't really given me any issues for a couple of years and I haven't had any vertebrae slip out of place to cause me enough discomfort where I had to visit the chiropractor until yesterday; I have to go back tomorrow. I have every confidence in my doctor he can put C1 back in place so I can get the pain under control and get back to a normal routine. If anyone else has similar experiences, I feel your pain.

If any of you guys are younger and play football, American style football that is, make sure you listen to your coaches on how to hit keeping your head up. That pretty much goes for any contact sport, really. You don't want to spend most of your adult life wondering where the natural curve in your cervical spine went like me.

Don't worry though, another few days, I'll be good as new with a fresh, pain free mind ready to get back on that grind. Hope everyone is well and crushing at the tables!!

From the 20k hand mark up until yesterday's session, I tried playing while not feeling the greatest and it probably wasn't the best decision in the world. I am not quite where I wanted to be bankroll wise, but I've put enough time in at 2NL and put in a nice session on which to end.

Onto strictly 5NL. Well rolled for it and won't be moving back down unless I drop a real significant amount.
